"We went to Brookdale Folsom for a visit. This place seems like a really nice place. They even offered a few more things, and it’s a newer buildings, so it's really nice. It was just expense wise, my parents can't afford it. "

"EVP community is the best place for my parents to stay. Safety, cleanliness and quality of care are their priority. If you have concerns, they do necessary action right away. Activities and special programs are great."

"It has almost been a year since I placed my husband at Country House. The experience has been very emotional because I was the sole caregiver prior to having to place him in a memory care facility. I think that Country House is very unusual in that it is truly a family-oriented facility and the staff tries extremely hard to include their residents' families in so many activities. When I go to visit my spouse, I feel like I am always welcome no matter what time of day, and I feel as if it is my second home. All the caregivers and staff welcome me with hugs and are truly happy to see me as well as some of the other residents. We are all one big family!! If there is one thing that we can work on it's our communication skills. I'm sure this is something that needs to be addressed in most care facilities, and that is making sure all those in charge of care are on the same page in understanding all the variables that need to be addressed in the day-to-day care of each resident. I think it would be helpful if I had a regularly scheduled monthly appointment with a staff member to discuss my husband's care in detail. Another suggestion that came up recently was that it might be really beneficial for the families of Alzheimer's patients to learn more about Hospice and how they can interact and help not just in the last days but as the disease progresses. Hopefully Country House could sponsor a session to learn more about what Hospice can offer to help Alzheimer's patients as well as their families. "

"I liked Friendly Care Home II. It was nice and clean, and it was very nicely set up. The owner was very nice and very thorough. They served home-cooked meals there. They had some nice covered patios and one uncovered patio. They had chickens and then they had a little cat and a dog that were outside mostly."

"We had chosen WellQuest of Granite Bay for my mom. The tour was good. I was very impressed with it. They showed us a unit. We're going to bring in our own furniture though. They're very nicely equipped, but in memory care, they don't have a kitchen. They have a very nice outdoor area. They even take the residents out on walks. They have trails, and they can do exercises in the heated swimming pool. The dining room is amazing, and the food is really good. And, as a participant, you can pay for lunch or dinner and then you can have a meal with your parent. The staff who toured us was great. She was very knowledgeable. There's nothing available right now, so we are on a waiting list for memory care. It's fine though because we don't want to do it till July anyway. It's pretty brand new, so everything is nice. I also like that outside each door, there's a little showcase where the residents can put in their memorabilia, so they can find their room, and in the memory care they always have somebody with them. I think that's pretty nice to have that."

"My father was there for a year and a half. What a wonderful experience it was for our family! I work in the field of aging services and know what to look for and expect. All seasons is the best I've seen and experienced with great oversight, good caring staff and outstanding accommodations. What more can I say? "

"Carlton Senior Living of Orangevale was very nice. It's upgraded and they were informative. The staff was very nice. The apartments are remodeled. The food and dining area is new, but I didn't see any food. When I visited, I saw some live entertainment going on. It's very nice, they have many courtyards; I think there are four or six courtyards. The facility has been remodeled."

"My mother-in-law moved into Loomis Home Care. So far, the people, the owners, and the staff, the beautiful facility, we're very happy with the area that she's in. I have not personally been inside because of COVID, but my husband did go inside, and he was fine with the interior. The interior of the place, room, back patio facilities, and by the small lake was nice and pleasant. We're very happy with where she's at. They do have activities. We're very happy with the activities that are available to her. They have dancing, singing that we know of, some arts, crafts or activities. I'm not there with her when she does the activities, but she seems to be very happy. We've heard that the food is good from my brother-in-law's friend who has his mother also at the facility. We're very happy with everything. We're not disappointed, or nothing's been negative, so we're fine."

"My wife is a resident of Oakmont of Fair Oaks. The staff is excellent. It's a very nice facility. They seem to be very caring about the people that occupy their building. Her room is excellent. It's like a small studio apartment. The food is good, too. I had lunch there, and they had a Thai chicken salad with half a sandwich and a bowl of soup. It was very good. They had live music for the folks. They also have a room for arts and crafts and a small gymnasium. It's a very nice facility. The staff are all very friendly, very caring."

"We toured Vista Roseville Senior Living. It was very nice. The staff was helpful. The one thing we didn't care about was the music they played all the time. We felt that wasn't something my sister-in-law would care for. It wasn't very relaxing. It was upbeat. Maybe they don't have that all the time, but that music going was a little intrusive. The apartments were very nice and well taken care of. The accommodations there for the food and everything looked very nice."

"The professinoals at Gold River Eskaton are great! Mom would always tell us kids " I want to pass in my HOME, I am not going anywhere ". She has been a resident now for eighteen months and loves it. She has met new friends and neighbors. When I come to visit she hurry's me out the door because she is on her way to a event or a outing. The staff told me moving her in would be a PROCESS and they were right. But they took their time and gave the family " THE NEXT STEP IS" directions, five months later she move in. Thanks to all "

"I had an appointment in Angels Assisted Living Inc. and there was nobody there to talk to me. They weren't aware I was coming. Somebody opened the door. Didn't know who I was and just led me from room to room. I don't have much comment about the room."
