The staff and facilities were nice. The overall atmosphere was pleasent and the residents seemed to be happy. It is hard not to feel sadthough surrounded by people who are incapatitated. The Californian tried their best to make the lives of their residents comfortable but there is only so much they can do. I will volunteer here again because everyone was extremely kind and spending time with peopel who have somany stories is an amazing experience.
