Glen Park at Long Beach provides three meals a day plus snacks in between (the lady actually offered snacks and something to drink while we were there). They were very congenial. She took us around the memory care facility and she was very good. It seemed to be kept up and clean. They had a nice theater room, outings, and activities (there's an activity board posted). The residents seemed to be content as well. The only thing was it was too far away.

My dad has been in Glen Park at Long Beach for four weeks now. The overall experience has been great. The staff is very helpful. The room is very clean. The facility is very clean. The food is good. The dining area is very inviting and clean. Activities are walking, music, and holiday gatherings. We love the outdoor spaces and the garden area. The covered patio is very nice. It's a very pleasant outdoor environment.

We went and toured Glen Park at Long Beach. What impressed me was the girl who toured us around. She knew everybody's name on a first-name basis; she knew them all. The place was very clean. No odor. The residents that we saw all seemed clean, their hair done, and they were dressed nice, so I thought there was good care there. They showed us mostly the general places; I think the memory care was being updated. The apartments were furnished. The bigger room that we looked at did not have any kitchen facilities. It was just the bedroom and then the bathroom. The staff there was very, very good. They had outdoor spaces, too. They have a garden where they could do their own planting, etc. They have separate areas for smokers and non-smokers, which is nice as well.

I toured Glen Park at Long Beach. The staff described everything very well. She took me on a tour. She was very polite. It was very clean. The other people that work there were nice. It's a good tour. It would be nice for anybody, but not for me because of my husband's situation. It's for memory care but my husband needs memory care lockdown. They don't have the lockdowns that I needed. It's a secure place, but not for my husband's needs. The rooms are immaculate. They are nice, and they're well decorated. It seems more homier; it's well decorated. They had what they call a gathering room. The elderly were coming in a little bit at a time, but they have an exercise room. The exercise room is big enough for the people that are there, and they participate very well. There's somebody there guiding them. It's looked nice. It's really good. It's a good place for somebody. I didn't see the meals but I passed through the dining room and it was very clean. They had staff there making sure everything was in place. The layout is nice. It's not big, but it is very nice. It's a two-story building. It's nice, the outside and the inside. The people, the staff, and the patients were talking very friendly to each other.

I liked that the memory care of Glen Park at Long Beach was intertwined with assisted living, so they could interact with each other. The young lady who gave the tour was very educated and very nice too. The rooms were nice, as well as the furniture in them, and they looked updated.

I chose Glen Park at Long Beach for my father. It was closer than most places, the price was fair, and the people were really nice, very helpful, seemed very genuine, and informative. I felt comfortable leaving dad there. The outside looks a little rough, but the inside looks really nice.

I didn't like Glen Park at Long Beach. Everything seemed rather old and dated. The size of the rooms was large, but they felt very old and outdated. I did not see any activities. The place was clean, but worn.

Glen Park at Long Beach was very nice and clean. My ex-husband said the food is very good. The meal I saw him eat looked very good. It was shrimp on a bed of rice and he ate every morsel of it. His room is very nice, pleasant, comfortable, clean, and quite roomy. He's having rehab at the moment because he can't walk properly yet, but they have a nice library area where he can sit and read the paper. They have laundry service and a beauty shop. The facility is quite pleasant. They take them to doctor's appointments and to shops, so it seems like things taken care of quite well.

We toured Glen Park, and it was very nice, but the price was above the range we wanted to pay. The staff was very informative. The dining room seemed good, and it seemed like they want to eat there. My mother does better in a home care with less than 10 residents, and this facility was much bigger.
