The tour I had at Coral Oaks Care Living was decent. The staff was very friendly. They were really good with what they needed to do. I did not care for the facility as much though. I felt it to be outdated, and it had more of a hospital feeling to it. It seemed a little outdated from what other living situations were. The rooms were OK. It's more of the environment that everyone's in. So, they can't really move anywhere else besides the rooms. There weren't really facilities to go anywhere, and then their outdoor facilities were very basic. It was just a concrete patio and a wall around them. I understand that it is winter, but there were no plants. I could see there would be nothing to do, and if I was there and I was elderly, I would be bored out of my mind. I believe their rooms were shared or one room. It's like a hospital room setting where you can have one room for yourself or you can have two and you share. It's OK because you pay a little bit less for that. The reason I'm also listing it as a three is because they have a salad bar that they offer at all times of the day. You can just come over and get some potato salad, macaroni salad, and stuff. It was 11:00 when I went to go to see this facility, and it looked like they were out the day before, and then they put it back out. I would not eat it, and I would not have my father eat it. Nevertheless, the staff was willing to answer any questions. They showed me everything I needed to. They were going to work with me on all my dad's issues that he had.
