"I live about 10-15 minutes near Graceful Senescence. I had been passing by and I stopped and checked the place out. I was pleased with what I have seen. The staff and the administration are excellent. Whatever I asked them to do, they were willing and glad to do it for me. I have been going there for over a year and it works out well for me. They have activities like power walking, had exercise and trivia. There are groups that come in and administer songs. They have gym equipment too. The food there is good. "

"Gardena Senior Citizens Day Care Center is the best ever day care center , i ever visited. My uncle was there and he was very happy at this day care center. At Gardena Senior Citizens Day Care Center special treatment and care is given to all senior citizen . The people working at this day care center are very polite and caring and they treat these people like there family members . the facilities at this center are very good . There is a very good TV lounge and also a very good recreation room all citizen people can also enjoy in lush green out field.The administration is also very good and there rates for caring are also very cheap. E very person can get benefit at this day care center . I like the way they handle some seriously sick and mentally disturbed patients. They treat them nicely and patience are very attached with these staff. This is the best center i can say. Only one negative thing is this that they are located out side the city but this is acceptable because of there facilities. "

"I have been meaning to write a thank you to Morningside for all of their kindness to my mother. They were and are a GOD send. My mother attended Morningside ADHC for 5 years before she passed away. She suffered from advance dementia and a bokay of many other ailments. I am a single mother of two with a full time job. I couldn't take care of my mother during the day. I placed her in a nursing home for a month. All they did was over medicate her-she was like a zombie. A friend recommended Morningside and after my mother started going there was a noticeable change. Her mood softened. She would dress up in the morning the day she had to go to the center. My mother had a beautiful voice and she loved to sing and listen to music. Morningside catered to her interests and her medical needs. Center gave my mother a purpose. Reason to wake up in the morning! Thank you and continue your good work! "

"I've had my 92 year old Dad attend South Bay Adult Care Center for 5 years. It has really made a difference in the quality of his life. He suffers from dementia and I truly believe his trips to this day care facility have helped to keep him more alert. The staff, from the manager, to the care givers, to the volunteers are wonderful and caring. They take great care of my Dad. There are lots of daily activities plus special events to keep him interested and more active. If you need a day care center, this is the one to look at in the South Bay. I tried others and was unhappy with the care provided and lack of activities."

"I would like other families to know that this place is #1. Dirty 2. They don't have the equipment to properly care for the adults. 3. Homeless people are constantly Desecrating on the property. The poop and pee does not get cleaned up and when I visited there one time my granddaughter stepped in human poop. If you go and look at the conditions he would never trust them to care for your disabled adult."

"This was an amazing facility to visit. North Hollywood is an awesome area; with lots of attractions and it is within walking distance of sight-seeing, bus stops, and shopping - which the caregivers are able to take the client to with the client provider's permission. This is not like a nursing home at all... It is more of a place where family can drop their elderly loved-one off while they are at work and are unable to care for them during the day. The caregivers were laid back, friendly, and fun to be around. While I was inside, they offered me something to drink and a snack - and the clients there seemed very happy with the caregivers there. This is an excellent day-care facility for anyone that needs to go to work during the day while caring for their family member at night and weekends on their own. "
