Morningside ADHC Center

I recently visited Morningside ADHC and was pleasantly greeted by the Activities Director who provided me with a brochure and gave me a brief tour of the facility. However, when I was introduced to the Administrator in her office to discuss costs/methods of payment, she became totally dismissive when I stated that my relative would be a private payor, "We don't accept private pay." She offered no explanation and became more adamant when I made it clear that our LTC Insurance would cover the cost if private pay was unacceptable. She then returned to her computer screen as if I was no longer in her presence. Suffice it to say that the brochure that I was given referenced as acceptable: Medi-Cal/Managed Care and Private Pay.

My mom is comfortable at Morningside ADHC Center. They're very friendly and attentive. They have a lot of different open spaces, a physical therapy area, a dining area, and everything is clean. The staff is great, too.

We were interested in Morningside Adult Day Health Care because it was convenient for me to visit from where I was working. The people were very friendly. They had activities like bingo, arts, dancing, and field trips to museums, the mall, and some casinos. The staff was very friendly, very informative and very warm. From what I saw, they had a nice sitting area outside with plants, so I could go there if they wanted to sit outside. They had an open area with a piano, where clients could sing.

I have been meaning to write a thank you to Morningside for all of their kindness to my mother. They were and are a GOD send. My mother attended Morningside ADHC for 5 years before she passed away. She suffered from advance dementia and a bokay of many other ailments. I am a single mother of two with a full time job. I couldn't take care of my mother during the day. I placed her in a nursing home for a month. All they did was over medicate her-she was like a zombie. A friend recommended Morningside and after my mother started going there was a noticeable change. Her mood softened. She would dress up in the morning the day she had to go to the center. My mother had a beautiful voice and she loved to sing and listen to music. Morningside catered to her interests and her medical needs. Center gave my mother a purpose. Reason to wake up in the morning! Thank you and continue your good work!

Morningside is fantastic. The staff is wonderful as well as the level of services that they provide to the clients. My Brother have been attending for thepast forty five days and thanks to the staff and especially the social worker he has adjusted well there. They took special care to make sure that he would be successful in making a positive transition to living in California and in helping him get through his bereavement. You will appreciate the level of services that Morningside provides.

My mother attends Morningside 5 days a week and would go 7 days if they were opened. She looks forward to it everyday. She has moderate dementia and has improved in some areas since attending. She talks about the special events, meals at the Center and it gives her a safe, inviting place to go daily.
