My mom has been at Diamond Oak Guest Home. We viewed it twice before she moved in. I really liked the setup and the room they had available for her. The people were great and very helpful. The room was not large. It's an average bedroom size. She took it furnished, but we may move her own furniture in later. This is the first home she's been in. She loves the food. We chose them partly because of the room that they had available, and she didn't have to share it. There were fewer people in the home, and she is nervous about getting a whole bunch of people, that's why we went for a smaller facility rather than a big care home. The staff is great. So far, I love them. We went back two days later for her birthday, and we were able to go into the backyard. We had our masks on and they took our temperature before we went in. We brought her cake and a bouquet of flowers and spent some time with her. It was great. I've talked to her, but she has Alzheimer's, so it's difficult to know how she's feeling about it. The price was one of the fairest I found.
