My father has been at The Meadows Senior Living for several months now. For the most part, it's been pretty good. It's a nice facility. It's clean. They have good workers. It's a good environment overall. It seems to be a happy place and people seem to be doing OK. He has his own challenges, but all in all, it's a good place to be. They have a person in charge of activities. They have activities for them for Thanksgiving and this upcoming Christmas. They seem to be on top of things when it comes to keeping them active. There are some things I think that maybe they should be a little bit more on top of. The facility in general is clean, but sometimes I don't know if they cleaned the rooms up and what is expected of them as far as the carpeting, the bathroom, and that kind of thing. Everybody seems to be very cooperative and wanting to work with you. I haven't had any issues with the staff members. They're going through a lot of construction, and I had an issue with his room, but overall, I think it's a good place. He has some issues going on now. Once he kind of gets settled, I think everything should be fine. We'll just keep taking it one day at a time.

While the community is beautiful and the staff are friendly and professional this community has fast become one of the worst communities in the area. This is mainly due to the mismanagement of the ED who in my opinion truly seems to have chosen not to deal with serious issues. Excessive staffing shortages are leading to residents to not being cared for. The memory care is stifling hot, and the food has severely dwindled in the last few months. While a recent remodel and smile at the door may seem like a win I’d strongly recommend another facility that has the values and concerns of their residents at heart.

I was impressed by The Meadows Senior Living. The people who were working there were very friendly and accommodating. The downfall that I saw from it, for my sister's situation, would be that it appeared to be that they have no independent living, and so the residents were perhaps at a level a little lower than hers, which might not be in her best interest. I was impressed by the friendliness of the staff though. The way they seem to know people. The place seemed to welcome the families of the residents. There were a lot of family members visiting and they all seemed to know the place. It's pretty clean. The facility is rather large inside, so I could see someone who's elderly maybe getting lost in it. We ran into some of the caregivers and I got to see them interact a bit with the residents, and they seemed to treat them with love and respect.

The Meadows Senior Living was good. The person in charge of the tour wasn't there because she called me and tried to reschedule, but I couldn't reschedule, so she had someone else give us the tour. She was very nice. They were going through remodeling, so they're bringing in new furniture. The rooms looked nice. The model room had furniture. It had a little kitchen area, a bed, and closets. It was nice.

The Meadows Senior Living is very good and much cheaper. I can tell that the staff are very friendly and in high spirits when I went there and talked to some of them. It's just not that spacious and it doesn't look very bright but still, it is very acceptable. The good thing is that they charge $500 less than the other facility we went to. They have a variety of activities. They also serve meals, but when I looked at the menu, it doesn't compare with the other one (because they charge less so everything is less). Still, the level is acceptable. It's just that you pay more, you get more. It appears to be a little bit more lively and crowded because there are more people there. Most of the people are workers. They are not residents. They have more assistance there and more people doing things.

I liked The Meadows Senior Living very much. The facility was brand new and it was absolutely beautiful. It was very, very appealing, very airy, and very open. I liked the areas where people could sit and have coffee at any time during the day, maybe play cards if they wanted to, or just sit and visit. They had a very nice dining facility where you could eat what they had prepared. Or if you didn't like what they had prepared, you could order something off the menu. They would provide as much care as you needed. If you needed care with your housekeeping or if you needed meals brought in to you, they would do that. They also had buses that ran to shopping centers and pharmacies. The lady who gave me the tour was extremely nice and helpful.

The Meadows Senior Living was a nice and clean facility. The lady that I spoke to was nice, too, and dad liked the other lady that came out to assess him. He even remembered her name, Elisabeth. The apartment was nice. It's like a suite and it has a bedroom with a little kitchen, a refrigerator, and a small microwave inside. I liked the bathroom because it's got a walk-in shower. They had a dining room, a game room, and a little chapel in there. They had exercise programs, game nights, and a little comedy show the night that I was there. So, they had a few activities. There's laundry service, a podiatrist that comes every six weeks and works on their feet, which would be great, and a barber shop there where they had someone cut their hair onsite (you have to pay extra for that).

I toured The Meadows Senior Living. It was a quick tour. The person that I talked with, who did the tour with was very good. It seemed to be a little outdated. Visually, it was depressing. I wasn't interested in it. After I toured the other place, this one seemed disappointing. The staff was very knowledgeable, and very nice.

The Meadows Senior Living was a very clean little place. I saw both assisted living and memory care. It has an older feel to it, but I think that it's very important to keep in mind that a lot of elderly people like that. It's kind of their style. It feels personal and they said that the staff's been there for a long time, which I believe so. They've got pictures of the staff on the wall and that was very cool to see. For me (and for anybody I think), knowing that there are a lot of tenures, is a big deal when it comes to the elderly. So, it was very nice. They are also remodeling some of the rooms and changing things up. Another good thing about them was they assess the residents. They don't pigeonhole them. Whereas the other places I've toured, they will say "No, you go to memory care." So, it's interesting the way that they evaluate stuff. I see the people that are in memory care and I don't think she's at that level yet. She's not as advanced as those people in that area. So, they were a little more accommodating and you will have a little more wiggle room with where you want your mom or your dad placed. They were just good people and have it together in a more intimate fashion versus the big fancy large ones.

The problem with The Meadows Senior Living was it was more of an assisted living facility. There was no full kitchen. They have a great staff and seem to be well run, but that was the problem. My mother-in-law needed a full kitchen. The activities are very good, from what I could see their amenities were good. They have excellent staff. The facility was very clean and well-maintained.

I went to The Meadows Senior Living. The staff seemed very nice. They were accommodating to us during the tour. The residents that we came across seemed like they were happy and being well cared for. We did look at the menu, and it looked good. It seemed like a good layout for a facility. It was clean, and it was well marked and everything.

We will be moving my stepfather into The Meadows Senior Living, and I think it's a very nice community. I felt that it was clean, that the people were very positive, and the room was of decent size. The activities seemed something that would help my stepdad. We have a whole calendar of activities, they have movie time, snack time, spa time, coloring, and games. They indicated that they tried to get to know each resident, and tailor the activities towards what they like. I didn't try the food there, but it looked very pleasing. It's the closest proximity to my mom's house, and they gave me an all-inclusive price.

My mother moved into The Meadows Senior Living. We chose them because of the people and the security there. The staff is very friendly. The room is beautiful. The facility is up to date and very clean. They have bingo, a weight room, a movie room, and a hair salon. They have everything you need. The location is great, and it's easy to access. The food is great.

The Meadows in Elk Grove was very nice. It was a pretty large facility, which intimidated my mom. I'm sure many people in her situation would be fine with that, but she was not. It's a very nice place, but their memory care unit was a large ward. It had probably 20 people, and that intimidated the heck out of mom. The staff was all really nice. They took the time to show my mom all their facilities, and they were very helpful. The rooms seemed fine, but they were rather high priced. Other than that, they were fine. The Meadows had this really nice area with patio tables outside and that part was very impressive. It seemed very clean and up-to-date. When we first got there, we thought that it was the place my mom was going to go, but the place just intimidated her. It was great though, it really is. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The building was beautiful. I wish mom didn't need memory care because it was beautiful. Their dining room looked like a restaurant.

The rooms at The Meadows Senior Living are nice. The assisted living side is good. They have all kinds of activities. The dining area is beautiful. I love it. The people are nice. They have bingo, happy hour at 3:00 once a week, and exercise. They go out on trips like outings and out for lunch. They eat their biggest meal at lunchtime, and then at dinnertime, they eat a light meal, which is good. It is a good atmosphere. It is clean. They have a sitting area and outside area.

The Meadows was OK. They were pretty much the same except they had more activity stuff going on, and they would end up more expensive because they were more of the independent-thing. My dad needs assistance; so that really wouldn’t work out for him.

The Meadows had a good location. It was nice, but it wasn't big, and the rooms were adequate. The staff were helpful. They have a good variety of activities.

We will place my mom in The Meadows in June. We chose it because it was extremely clean, and it actually looked like a Hilton Hotel. Everyone was really caring about everyone that was there. The staff there knew everybody's name. They were acknowledged and were not left alone. They were treated like human beings. There's a lot of activities going on. They had a theater, so they had movie nights. They had bingo, wine and cheese night, they took them to casinos, they took them shopping, and they took them to doctor's appointments. They also had someone who came in for exercise as well. I loved that it had great culture. The apartments were great. It was very clean, and it was priced well. It was within my price range. We went to go visit them again on Saturday, they treated us to lunch, and they were very cool.

The Meadows Senior Living is a beautiful facility. I think they provide 5-star service. The place is very clean. She loves it a lot and I too loved it, but unfortunately we are not able to put her in there that long because it's too much money. She was there for three weeks only. The staff all seemed very caring. Her room is very nice with a whole kitchen with a full-sized refrigerator, a sink, and a countertop. It also has a big closet and a big bathroom. They offer tons of activities. Just the other day, she was involved in a card game and she really enjoyed that. They also have church service which she was able to attend to that. She loves the food as well as their dining room; it was beautiful.
