My uncle has moved into Pacifica Senior Living Hillsborough. They were very thorough and accommodating. The staff are very nice and very attentive. The rooms are clean, up-to-date, and modern. They gave us everything we were looking for in a room. I saw activities there. Some of the ladies were having a little dance class and some people were playing cards. It's a clean environment with caring staff that are very attentive. There are lots of activities to keep the residents busy.

Pacifica Senior Living Hillsborough was very nice. Tammy, who was the person who spoke to us and gave us a tour, was very warm and very caring and had a lot of patience to answer our questions, and we felt very welcome. The units were beautiful. We saw about three units, and we were very impressed with them. We checked the dining room area, but we didn't try their food. The dining room was very clean, had lots of space, and it's very inviting. I didn't observe any activities. But they took us to the movie room, where you can watch movies, and I saw the gym. And I like the idea that they take the residents shopping a couple of times a week and that they have outings to go to, like a casino or to dinner. My brother is impressed with it.

Pacifica Senior Living Hillsborough was a beautiful facility. It's a larger facility. Mom felt really comfortable touring there with me. She liked the staff members. They have a wonderful facility. They were just limited when it came to furnishing. I would have to purchase furniture and have it brought into their facility. We weren't rushed at all. There was a young man that gave us the tour. He took his time and he was very friendly, very cordial, and made us feel very comfortable. He was really, really nice. The facility was very clean. We looked at the dining area because they actually had two. One was when the seniors received visitors. It was very, very lovely. Then there's also a separate dining area in the memory care unit. That was very nicely set up as well. They had plate settings, and my mom was very intrigued with how they set up the tables with the napkins all over the place. It looked very nice and very elegant.

I did take a tour of Pacifica Senior Living Hillsborough, and it was pretty good but it wasn't exactly what I was looking for, specifically for my mom's needs. Overall, it was not a bad place. It was clean and the room was nice. I was impressed with the room. It was a second-floor room, the one they had available, and everything looked pretty clean. I didn't like that it was a multiple-floor building because I wanted my mom to be on the first floor but they only had a room available on the second floor.

Pacifica Senior Living Hillsborough was the one that I liked the most. It was very, very nice. The staff I met were very friendly and very nice. The unit I saw was very clean and very nice. Their food looked good. I tried some of their cookies. The common areas were very clean and very nice. They had a library and a pool table. I was very impressed with the stuff that they had.

When we went to see Pacifica Senior Living Hillsborough, we were on time for the tour, but the lady we were meeting with was a little bit late. It was very busy there. There were a whole bunch of people in the front lobby - different maintenance people and different visitors with a bunch of dogs here and there. When she finally talked to us, she walked us around into memory care and around the assisted living area. We toured some of the rooms, sat down with us, and discussed different amenities that go with the cost of the unit as well as the levels of care. We sat in one room, but then a bunch of guys showed up around 2:00 to play poker. She just basically told us about the laundry service and the meals. They didn't show us the dining room area. We just stayed inside the whole time. We could see the courtyard through the windows as we were walking by it. They need to make sure that they don't get political. The reason I say that was because the lady that we spoke with decided that she wanted to kind of down talk about Republicans, and it was kind of off-putting.

Dad is currently in Pacifica Senior Living Hillsborough. He has a clean room, nice. They have a lot of memory care activities and physical therapy. He has a shared room. They have a patio, salon, a large cafeteria, and a large lobby for the family. It's clean, just very expensive for the amenities that are there. There was an incident involving another patient in his room, that is one of the reasons we are moving out. He was assaulted by one of the guests there. The staff is nice, they just didn't make good decisions-- the person that was there sharing the room with my dad showed some aggression when he first came to stay there. Instead of moving him out of the room, they kept them in the same room. That is when my dad got assaulted. Not only dad, the other person that was there, I don't think they did a very good evaluation of how violent he was. He could have dementia as well, but the other person shouldn't have been sharing a room with anyone, he should be alone. We had to call the police. I think they should make it more affordable, and they need to evaluate their patients better. Other than that, it's fine.

We chose Pacifica Senior Living Hillsborough for my grandmother because the facility was nice and clean. It's a beautiful place. The staff and administrators there were caring, very helpful, and accommodating. We needed to make the move happen rather quickly, they were very accommodating, and Tammy went above and beyond to make this an easy process for us. My grandma's room is spacious, clean, and modern. They have movie nights, they have a chapel, they play bingo, and they have shopping trips. I've tried the food, and it was pretty good. My grandmother loves it and has no complaints. For activities, I would like to see more opportunities for them to leave the community, like going to the casino or something like that.

My parents moved into Pacifica Senior Living Hillsborough. It's nice and well taken care of when you step in. The rooms were renovated and nice. The staff has been really helpful thus far, although there have been a couple of moments where they've kind of been aloof about some of our requests. So they need to be more attentive to some of those things. My parents say some of the meals, especially breakfast, are good. The dining area is nice, but some meals are just kind of like Ok, and that's to be expected. They offer a lot of different activities from different field trips, to different activities at the facility, art stuff, movies, and things like that. I don't think my parents have started partaking in that yet. They're just getting used to the adjustment.

I went to Pacifica Senior Living Hillsborough. I thought their facilities were very nice and well maintained. They had a very nice courtyard for better weather. It looked like all the facilities were very uplifting and it's a good environment. They had both the memory care and the regular assisted living and for my brother, it would've been the assisted living. Assisted living, however, was kind of restricted. They don't handle people with IVs and things like that. Everybody I saw or talked to was very helpful and pleasant. The dining room looked perfectly clean, very sharp and a very good environment for dining. They had just about everything that assisted living would need, exercise, entertainment, and arts and crafts. It was in a very nice building and very well maintained. Everything was very clean and very nice.

Everything is fine here at Pacifica Senior Living Hillsborough. I've been here about almost eight months now. If you can't be home, this is a really good place to be. It's well taken care of, and it's very clean. The caregivers are lovely. I enjoy living here and I've made a lot of nice friends and acquaintances. They have a lot of activities going on and I just wanted to give them a little thumbs up there. They're very caring and if you need something, all you have to do is ask and eventually, you'll get it. They have been short of help lately because of this pandemic. Now that things are opening up, there are people that leave to go to get different jobs and so forth, but they take care of you just as much as they can. I have one particular caregiver that I just really love. I have to have help in the shower and she's wonderful. I just so appreciate it. If I can't be home, this is a good place to be. I play bingo, bunco, rummy, and left, right, middle. We have little activities like questions and answers, Who Am I? What am I? and things like that. I love those. It keeps your mind going. We have ice cream social on Sunday. Anybody that wants to be there is there. We have activities outside in the courtyard. We've had country music coming in, singing and playing the guitar. I folded a flag with another gentleman here on Flag Day. I'm a veteran, so I got to do that. The food itself is good. Sometimes it's not cooked as we'd like it to be, but they give you everything. My fingernails are much better since I've been here because I'm eating more vegetables and they have a variety of everything. Right now, you have two choices of your entree and that's good. You can have chicken or you can have fish or you can have whatever. We have three good meals a day. I enjoy the oatmeal and today we had muffins which are good and they have a variety of breakfast. You can have eggs scrambled and you can have an omelet if you want. They have ice cream once in a while and things like that. The meals are very well balanced, if you choose to eat that way. I have my own little freezer here, so I could keep ice cream bars and things. I have food in my room. My room is wonderful and very comfortable. I have a nice little apartment with a nice bathroom and I have a nice refrigerator, a microwave, and a little kitchenette there. It's very comfortable for me because I'm out most of the time doing something. I don't stay in the room that often, but when I do, I'm reading or watching TV. I'm very happy here. I have a balcony. My granddaughter got me two chairs and a little table that I have out there, and if the weather is receptive, I'll go out there and sit for a little bit. There are trees and a beautiful courtyard right in front of me. Everything is so well-kept. It all looks beautiful. They have a lot of overhead expenses with the staff and the food, so the value for money is fair. The dining room is lovely.

My dad is now at Pacifica Senior Living Hillsborough. The staff is very helpful, the facility is nice, and they are timely in responding to the residents. His room has a bedroom, a large bathroom, and a small kitchenette that has a microwave, a refrigerator, and a sink. Because of COVID, they're not using the dining area. Also, because my dad is in hospice, he hasn't really used any of the facilities, but they have fliers posted around of what the daily activities are. I have seen some type of low exercises, cards, games, and walking activity through the building for exercise. They also have programs in the theater there. It's very clean, and the decorations are very nice and updated. The value for money is reasonable in comparison with some of the other facilities that I've looked at, but he seems happy, and he doesn't have any complaints. So that's good so far.

My mom has been a resident at Pacifica Hillsborough for 5 years. She moved in after a broken ankle and the staff was able to help her thru all the transition training, and transport down to meals, etc. As she got better, we cut back the extra services and since then she has been able to be on her own. Her room (a studio) overlooks the courtyard and is roomy and comfortable for her. Everyone at Pacifica has been so kind and sweet. They are always smiling and so good with the residents. They are always helpful and very willing to give her extra attention if needed. There are lots of options for games, or concerts, or outings. One time we (all her 3 children) were traveling and the staff, plus Mandy and Espi went into her room to check on her and make sure she had "visitors" while we were gone. During COVID it has been difficult for her to not be able to come outside. For my mom's birthday (during COVID) Espi helped me arrange for a "social distancing" party with cake and balloons and singing. She even helped us to Facetime with my Mom. The meals are good, the dining staff is attentive and patient. We have been very happy with each and every aspect of Pacifica. From the front desk girls to med techs, even Jose in maintenance is always quick with a smile and "hello". My mom is happy and has friends that she chats with in the lobby. We are very pleased with our choice to have her at Pacifica Hillsborough.

Pacifica Hillsborough in Chino is an excellent facility beginning with the beautiful entryway lobby with a soaring two story ceiling. You are immediately welcomed by friendly and helpful staff who will assist you with signing in and helping you find your destination. Residents are assisted by friendly and helpful caregivers who provide positive daily interactions, as well as, help with any areas that are difficult for residents to manage on there own. Our one bedroom apartment is spacious and has a nice balcony that brings us into courtyard activities even when we are unable to leave our room. Daily activities are fun, plentiful and keep residents active through card games, board games, entertainment, inspirational services and movies in our large theaters. There is also a daily exercise program with low impact stretching, motility exercises, and light weight lifting. Facility also has weight room that includes a NuStep elliptical machine. Each month outings are planned for field trips to beach, casinos, restaurants and concerts. There is weekly transportation to local churches and retailers. The meals are served in a beautiful dining room setting and include multiple daily entrees as well as grill and deli Items to order. The food is very good and served in healthy portions with low sodium content. The activities room and library are open daily and residents can watch cable tv in rooms, the theater, the activities room and the lobby. I enjoy living here with a caring staff and friendly neighbors !

My brother is in Pacifica Senior Living Hillsborough and it's been very good so far. The staff is very knowledgeable, very friendly, and very helpful. He's having a good time there. It's very upbeat. There's something going on almost all the time. Everybody seems in good spirits all the time. The rooms are very nice and well kept. The food is very good. The dining area is like walking into a nice restaurant. They have exercises, outings, socials, and they're going to have a program and special luncheon on Monday. We're very impressed. No matter what you ask, they're very polite and very kind, and they do their best to get what you need right away. It's a very beautiful facility.

My Father has been a resident of Pacifica Hillsborough for approximately 7 years. He started out in AL, and has since moved to “Transitions” earlier this year. It has been a challenging transition for him as he is only in the beginning stages of dementia, but has many physical medical issues as well. He is a very social man and interaction with people is important to him. His move to transitions makes it difficult to interact with others based on their less functioning dementia conditions. In society today, people tend voice their dissatisfaction very quickly, especially when they have a complaint. This is especially true for companies who work in the Hospitality or Services area of business. Pacifica Senior Living certainly qualifies as one of these business. Well today, I’m not writing to you to express my dissatisfaction. I’m writing you for the complete opposite! I need you to know that Janeth M., your Executive Director of the Chino Hillsborough location is exceptional! Since my Dad moved to Transitions in April, Janeth has made herself available to me, as my Dad’s primary caregiver and family member, anytime an issue has surfaced. These issues, whether related to problems with staff or service, or just issues that as a family member I thought could enhance my Dad’s quality of life, were welcomed, addressed and rectified quickly with my Dad’s well-being in mind. Janeth’s positive attitude, desire to provide Quality Care to the residents and their families, and Leadership, are a true testament to why Pacifica Companies are a leader in the industry. On behalf of my family, Thank You, and especially Janeth and her staff, for taking good care of my Dad. We truly feel “Welcomed Home”!!

I've been here Pacifica for almost a year now. I've had great experience with them. Everybody has been helpful. The meals are good. You can have choices for dinner, or you can order something else. They also have trips, they take me to the bank, stores like Walmart or Target, and to doctor appointments. My room is nice. I have a living room, a bedroom, a kitchenette and a bathroom. The staff has always been helpful and nice to me. It's always clean. They have good activities, but I haven't participated in much yet. I have played bingo a couple of times.

Pacifica in Chino is an excellent facility for seniors with mild dementia. It also has a relatively large assisted living facility. I haven't eaten the food there, but my mother seems to enjoy most of it. What I like most is the beautiful furniture, (frequently changed) decoration on the walls, and landscaping. Pacifica looks more like a resort than a typical "old folks' home." The staff changes a bit too frequently for me, but they are diverse, and most of them are friendly and helpful. Besides the lovely facility, Pacifica offers many activities to keep the seniors busy and entertained. At Christmas, Santa Claus visits, and they regularly have special picnics and dinners. I would recommend this facility for any senior, but especially for those with mild dementia like my mother. The Transitions section is a perfect place for them.

I have already made the decision to move into Pacifica Senior Living Hillsborough. It's nice, clean, and neat. Everybody was friendly, but you never know until you live there. They have activities that I like, like an exercise program and Bible study. You can walk outdoors and sit at the umbrella tables. I'm not too active because I have a bad back, but things that I do like are there for me. The rooms were OK and small but big enough for one. I would have liked a little more living room space, but it's OK. They have a library, a movie theater, and an exercise room. A woman took me on the tour, where I saw the exercise room, the place where you eat and the different things that they have to offer there. The staff was excellent. I have to get rid of almost everything I own because the closets are too small. They treated us to a delicious breakfast. The menu looked good, but you have to be careful if you're diabetic, and I have to look into it more. It's more modern, and the people are around my age group and active. The scenery is nice. They have a clinic across the street.

Pacifica Senior Living Hillsborough was nice. When you walk in, you feel like you're in a 5-star hotel, but it didn't feel homey. It was very large and modern with very high ceilings. It didn't have that feeling we wanted for our parent. We only saw a few of the residents, and they seemed to be content. They had different rooms where they watch TV in little groups. There was quite a few of them watching a movie and being given popcorn.

Pacifica Senior was a very nice, top-notch place that was very similar to all of the other places we visited. The common areas were clean and well lit. They offered the typical activities, like bingo, shopping trips, and exercise classes, that the others offered. They only had a studio available, and we wanted something a little larger for my dad. However, it was very nice and very clean. The people that showed us around were very friendly. The staff that we were introduced to was very accommodating and took an interest in my dad to heart. I feel that he would be in good hands.

Mom likes Pacifica Senior Living Hillsborough a lot, which surprised us because she is a recluse. It is a very good facility and we like it, too. We got a very positive impression of the place because it was clean, very neat, the staff and residents seemed friendly, and the food was good. They had wide hallways and little areas scattered throughout the building where you can just sit, relax, and socialize. They have bingo every day and their own theater with a giant screen and leather chairs for watching movies every Saturday. It’s a very plush facility. They also have a great library.

My visit at Pacifica Senior Living Hillsborough was great. It was the best facility among all that I have visited. Everyone was friendly and outgoing. They showed us all the amenities. It was a very nice experience. I would love to live there myself. They said that if my father has any food preference, they would accommodate that. We viewed the rooms, and they are great. Their price is actually less than the other 3-star facility I visited -- very reasonable. There was bingo going on in one room, and the cafeteria was quite full because it was almost dinner time when I visited. Some of the people were eating out in the courtyard. They have activities almost every day. Once a week, they have a small band that plays in the courtyard, and they can have dinner out there.

Pacifica Senior Living stood out to us. The place looked really good and clean and smelled good. There was nice furnishings and new carpet and tiles. The people seemed like they were genuine, and the staff treated us very well. It looked like they had quite a few activities, like bingo, outings to different places, and a small movie theater for them to watch movies on certain nights. We looked at the kitchen, the dining room area, and their facilities. Everything looked nice there.
