"Bradford Court is close to where we live. It's in Nixa and it's just a mile from us. My experience with them has been very good. We like the fact that it's small so that mom isn't just overwhelmed with a huge place. I like the fact that there's a lot of one on one interaction. I think that they're very good in keeping us informed and working with us. Those are the kinds of things that we were looking for. The facility is clean and well kept. My mom has a room there. It's adequate for her. She had a time adjusting to it at first because she had been in a 2-bedroom apartment in an independent living. She's now almost blind and deaf. She just turned 97 and so she really couldn't navigate anymore. Once she's been adjusted, it's a relief not to have such a huge phase to try to navigate her way around. For her, it's a good fit. The staff is terrific. They go out of their way to help people. Beverly, their activities person, is just wonderful. She plans a lot of stuff and keeps them busy. They're very on top of things. They're real caring, compassionate and considerate. I eat there quite often. The food is good. They have well balanced meals. In fact, I talked to Andrew in the kitchen and I told him his meals are delicious. "

"The hospital sent my mother to Nixa Nursing & Rehab. They admitted her there and she seems to be happy, so we're leaving her there for now. She's been diagnosed with late onset Alzheimer's. She hasn't had any complaints, and they seem to be nice. We can't go see her in the room. We visit her either outside, or in a little visitor's room, because of COVID. The staff all seems to be nice. She seems to like her nurse. So far, I have no complaints about it, that's why we're going to leave her where she's at. Everything seems to be going well. My mom was saying the other day that she'd been doing some kind of group exercise. She seems to like the food OK. She doesn't eat very much, but apparently the food's OK. She's in the nursing home. She's been diagnosed as late onset Alzheimer's, and she has a roommate. They make sure she takes her medicine and eats, which were part of the problems when she was living by herself. She was not doing what those of us trying to care for her would do. She's doing much better there. The staff has been great and has been very nice. What little we've seen has been nice, clean, and smells good."

"I visited Baptist Home. I've been interested in their program; they give special consideration to retired ministers, but they have a three-year waiting list. They have nurses, RNs, and doctors on call, but no nursing care, just assisted living and independent duplexes. They have in-house games and pool tables. They have excellent facilities."

"I visited this facility number of times to meet my grandmother. The facility is so nicely maintained and provides so many amenities that it feels like a home, not an old folk's prison. Security is given a top priority here. Visiting areas are welcoming, and the menus in the dining room are appealing enough to stay for dinner. The Facility itself is gorgeous and offers many different activity's for the elderly. While there, I witnessed the staff members taking care of the residents like they are their own family members. The place looks well taken care off, clean and organized. They also have relaxation activities and the whole environment looks very welcoming. It is definitely a place where anyone would enjoy living the rest of their life. However, with such a nice facility, it is no surprise that the place is fairly expensive, but my grandma believes it is worth every penny. Besides the high price, there really isn't anything that I can say that is negative about the place. I would recommend this facility for old people. "

"I enjoyed my two and a half year stay at this facility.The property is beautiful, the meals were balanced. The administration was careing. The other residents were pleasent company. Housekeeping was excellent along with laundry. Staff was easy to talk to. and staying there with older residents .taught me that I still have a lot to learn. Burell case workers were amazing .an always on time. There was all age groups there.from 30 to 107. I rather enjoyed the people. and took a lot of knowledge with me from there. "

"Mission Ridge Senior Living was new. Everything was clean and bright. The director who gave us the tour knew every resident that she passed. She called them by their first name, and that impressed me. I didn't like that all the activities and the dining area was on the first level, and the rooms were on the second and third levels. Mom would have had to take an elevator to get to the dining area, and we were a little concerned that she might be confused for a while. The director was very friendly and very professional. She answered all our questions. I saw the staff interacting with other residents. They seemed very kind, caring, and cheerful. The facilities were very clean. I think the building is only a couple of years old. We toured a room. To the right was the bathroom, and to the left was the kitchen. You walk through there, and there is a bedroom on the right and then to the left is the living area. It had lots of storage."

"The Bungalows at Chesterfield Village was a very nice place. It was very clean and the residents seemed to be happy, I didn't find any fault with it. The rooms were a little small for the studios, but other than that, it was a very nice place. We saw some activities, people that were dining, and we saw some people just resting. They also showed us the gathering rooms, a small event room, and the outdoors were well kept."

"We have placed my mom into a nursing home called Sonshine Manor. She likes it. She's happy there. It's clean. They're friendly. They're good to her. My mom's room has a standard-sized bathroom and a shower. It has closets, a bed, and lots of shelves, so she can put pictures and things. The room is clean. It's just an ordinary room though. The staff members are very friendly and helpful. My mom likes the food. They have things for them to do, but my mom is just starting to participate in things. With regards to value for money, it's just average compared to everybody else."

"It is my favorite among the ones that I went to. I was very impressed with the setup, the individual rooms, the person giving me the tour, and their eating arrangements. They were involved with something while I was there. They had a kitchen that was open any time they wanted to go down and eat. "

"Turners Rock is a beautiful facility. The apartment that I toured was furnished, and it was very tasteful, very nice. It is a brand new facility. The staff, the ones that I met were very nice. The dining area was a restaurant type. It was gorgeous, everything was immaculate. Of course, being a new facility, you would kind of expect it to be, and it is. They had a very nice activity room, a nice library, they had a pool, a hot tub area as well, and they had a salon."
