My stepmom is doing good at The Township Senior Living. It's a newer facility. Every person that I've had any interaction with has been super friendly. They have been helpful and friendly to my stepmom. The facility is clean. They even have a little robot cleaner that goes down through the hallways, vacuuming. It's not spotless. Any place that has seniors living in it will not be spotless, but it's clean, it's presentable, and it smells good. It doesn't smell like an old folks' home. Because it's a newer facility, the furnishings are still in pretty good condition, but probably the biggest thing that's been the most helpful or the most appealing is the fact that the people there take care and pride in servicing the folks that are staying there. The fact that my stepmom is eating three meals a day is a good indicator that it is good. They have a dining room that's open from 7:00 to 7:00. I like the fact that there's a little flexibility. They have their general meal times, but if there's a need for my stepmom to go in early or come in late, she's able to do it. Even if nobody is sitting at any of the tables, a cook will come out and ask for their order. They offer a lot of activities. It's expensive. I would still rate it a five because of the level of service that they're giving her. It's a two-portion payment, if you will, in the sense that you pay for the facilities and then you pay for the services that you receive, like if she has PT or OT. They won't bring a meal to her room if she's healthy without charging her but if she's sick, then they'll bring it to her room. They don't want to share the germs, but any additional stuff that they have to do above and beyond what would be considered typical, they do charge. She hasn't been there even a month yet. When you compare what she is getting and living in an assisted living facility for "6000" versus what she would be getting and living like in a skilled nursing facility, it's rockstar way above everything. It is expensive, but her quality of life at 90 years old is a lot better than it was when she was at home by herself.

No matter a residents interest, The Townships rich selection ensures that they are able to find something to suit their tastes. Independent Living The independent living lodge boasts a variety of floor plans, including both one and two bedroom options. Each apartment features a kitchen with refrigerator and washer/dryer. The community area of the lodge is a place where residents can gather together and is designed to encourage social interaction and an active lifestyle. The Township offers a wide array of activities and programs to help residents stay engaged and active. Residents can take in a movie in the theater, converse with their neighbors in the social lounge, learn a new recipe in the country kitchen, and even host events of their own in the private dining room for family, friends, or neighbors! The Township even has its own beauty salon! Whether interested in a new hairstyle, manicure, or massage, the talented staff at the salon are eager to pamper. Assisted Living Assisted living provides affordably priced, private apartments for seniors who need personal care services. These are designed to meet the needs of physically frail seniors and offers a higher level of care for those who need assistance in their day-to-day activities. The amenities and assistance provides seniors and their families the peace of mind that they deserve. Memory Care The Memory Care cottage is designed for the safety and comfort of cognitively impaired residents. Walk-in showers, height-appropriate fixtures such as toilets and sinks, and locking cabinets protect residents from harm. The commons area features an open design, including dining room and living room, as well as Life Stations that allow for purposeful wandering. Each Life Station is designed to engage individuals by triggering memories of tasks ingrained throughout their life. For example, Life Stations include an infant nursery for care and nurturing, wardrobe to promote grooming habits, and a work station for a sense of purpose and accomplishment. Between both Memory Care hallways, an enclosed courtyard provides access to fresh air and the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors without the risk of wandering away from the community. The courtyard is adorned with attractively designed raised planters that guide the walkways and allow for residents to interact with the gardens and green space. A wellness station creates a hub for care partners and nurses to conduct care updates and paperwork. Residents who need a calm, soothing atmosphere can relax in the quiet sitting room. In addition, theres a beauty salon where residents can receive special one-on-one attention in a familiar environment. The whirlpool/spa room provides ease of bathing for residents with physical disabilities and helps with circulation. For those whose dementia has caused a fear of water, the spa can be more soothing than a shower, reducing both their anxiety and the time required for bathing assistance. Technology developed by Foresite, a Missouri-based company, is available for passive monitoring of situations such as falls, changes in sleeping behaviors, appliances left on, and water on the floor. Proactive monitoring has proven to be effective in prolonging good health and enabling staff to respond faster when a resident needs help. Thank you for your interest at The Township Senior Living. The rooms at The Township Senior Living were good sized, very clean, and updated. They had a full menu that they could choose from. It was more like a restaurant style where they sit down and order their own food. We just talked to the lady in charge of admissions. She was super nice and very informative. We did the assisted living and memory care.

My dad is going to move to The Township Senior Living. The tour was amazing. I even asked if I can move in with him. The kitchen was amazing, and they have a chef. It is a really nice place. They would take them fishing, and my dad really likes that. There are a lot of bonuses with the place. Everything in the facility was in top-notch shape. They just remodeled, and it looks beautiful. We tried the food, and it was delicious. There were many options.

My mother has been at The Township Senior Living for a week now. We chose it because of its proximity to my home and it was a new facility, light, and bright, and everything was in good shape. They're all kind and polite. Mom says the food is OK, though nothing to write home about, she is also very picky. They offer lots of activities, but she's not the type to join in. The rooms are very nice sized and new. They have a salon that my mother's already taken advantage of. They have a gym and an activities director. They have transportation if she ever needs that. It's a little on the pricy side, but we're new to this whole assisted living gig.

The Township Senior Living was a very nice place. I liked everything about it. It had a perfect room and a little patio area. You could have your pet with you. It was a nice area. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. They invited my mom back for some of the other things as well, if she didn't get enough information that day. They had dog walking and all kinds of stuff for seniors, if they needed extra help. They had a salon. They could go up for dinner and eat in an area where they could invite families for parties and stuff. They had the dog walker.

The Township Senior Living is managed and owned by the same people that own the other facility we toured, so it's very, very similar. It's almost the same footprint. It's newer, and it would run a close second to another facility, but its location is a problem. It's outside of the city, it's off the beaten path, and there's not too much around it. Except for that, it's almost identical to the other facility. It's rural, but it doesn't have the picturesque setting that the other facility would have. They have two marketing people. It was kind of a tour with both of them. I think one of them is kind of training, and the other one seemed to have been there for some time. They were personable, but they were not as comfortable to be around as the lady at the other facilities. The rooms were virtually identical, too. They also have a water aerobics pool. They have a bit of green space between their assisted living building and their memory care building. The menu is virtually the same as the other two. There's open dining from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. They have standard options that are on the menu every day, but then they have a different daily special. They might have oriental one day, Italian another day, and Mexican another day. They mix it up.

I liked The Township Senior Living. Their apartments were much bigger. It was very roomy and it was separated. So, you would have a whole living space, a larger kitchen, and then a whole separate bedroom with a huge bathroom. So, I liked that. It was a much better space, but I didn't get the same kind of feel with the community at that location. Plus, it was a little bit higher priced. The person who toured me around was good. He was very friendly. I met the nursing supervisor and he was fine. He just couldn't answer all of my questions but he answered the basic ones. Their dining area was nice, but I was a little confused as to why independent living is separated from assisted living. I didn't like that, but the apartment that I looked at was gorgeous. So, the upkeep of the apartment was fantastic.

The Township Senior Living was very nice. It was a little short on closet space but other than that, it was very nice. The staff has been very nice, and they've kept in touch. Everything was nice and clean. They have a crafts room.

I found The Township Senior Living for my mother, and she moved in just before Christmas. It's new and beautiful. It's just a great senior living community. And I don't have to worry about my mom not being taken care of very well. It was obvious these people were being well cared for at Township because there were none of those urine smells, and it was very, very clean. The staff was very kind, just easy to communicate with, and knowledgeable. And they take care of the residents there. I have not tasted the food, but my mom said that they were really good. They were better than where my dad is. She said they had the best meals in Springfield, so she's very happy with them. It's very upscale. She gets her hair done every week at no expense. They have put up curtains for her and hung a television at no expense. So, I think the value is very good. She said she got to go out and look at the Christmas lights. So that was one excursion and she enjoyed it. She was very excited to be able to do that.

We're looking at The Township Senior Living for my mom. The tour was an A+, we like everything about the place. The setup in terms of how the thing was laid out that people didn't have to walk very far to get to different places, including the cafeteria, inside the facility. The staff was wonderful and very caring. The food was good because we had lunch there, and they have a choice of the menu. You just walk in from 7:00 to 7:00 and they cook for you off of a menu, so there's no set time for their dining. They also have a room upstairs with goodies in it and food; if you want to snack at night with coffee and all that, that's there all night long. The rooms are nice, they're clean and spacious.

I toured The Township Senior Living for my mom and it's super nice. I filled out some paperwork on it and so it's in process and hopefully, it'll work out. It's a beautiful place and it's brand new. It doesn't seem like a typical nursing home that I've been into. You walk in and there is a big lobby and beautiful cafeterias. It reminds me of a hotel. They have two assisted livings. They have one is with less help and two is with more help or assistance. The overall structure and the architecture of the buildings were very clean. They have a restaurant-style seating, and they have chefs there that cook the meals. You go down and you can order off of a menu. It's just very super nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They wanted to show me the building and took me on a tour. They seemed very accommodating to whatever I needed. The Township will provide rides to the doctor and they seemed to have everything that you need.

I visited The Township Senior Living for my father. If my sister would have relinquished power-of-attorney, that would have been the place where we would have put him, but my sister wouldn't give up power-of-attorney, so we couldn't move him. The rooms were nice and the cafeteria was nice. The visiting policy was nice. It seemed like a very nice place, better than where he's at. It's brand new, so it's very nice and clean. They gave us some scones and my husband ate all of them. He said they were delicious. I looked at their menu. They serve breakfast all day and then they have different entrees and sides that they offer. It was varied and it looked very nice. I met a lot of people. I didn't schedule. I just popped in and Nikki showed me around and we met a lot of people, and they were very nice. If my dad was able to come up to Missouri, that was my top pick. I would recommend anybody to go there.

We signed the lease for The Township Senior Living yesterday for my mother. We are waiting on furniture that's supposed to arrive next week. We toured it last month. The staff was extraordinarily friendly and kind. They were interested in my mother and her interests. They were interested in how they might best serve, as well as introduce her and provide services for her. The Township itself is a new facility. It's only two years old, so it was very clean in appearance. The apartments were absolutely immaculate. I spoke with one resident who's been there a week, and she said she absolutely loved it and how great the people were. They invited me to their Friday happy hour. There was live music, snacks, and food set up on tables. They served from a buffet meal. It was good too. They have an open dining from 7 am to 7 pm.

The Township Senior Living was wonderful. Everything about it was perfect, but the price was just out of our price range. We would live there if we could, but we just can't afford it. The staff was very polite and very kind. Some of them came out of their way to speak to us, so I would rate them very high. I tried their food, and it was very good. The place was much newer. It's less than a year old (the part we saw), so it is very nice and the carpets were brand new. They offered a lounge facility and a ride to doctor's appointments, so on and so forth.

Township Memory Care director and staff are amazing. They love the residents as if they were their own family members and work hard to keep the residents happy, engaged and comfortable at ALL times, 24/7. I cannot say enough about what a blessing they have been to our family. Our mother loves her current home and we're so grateful! Also, the food is delicious, the activities are well planned and the facility itself is beautiful! Highly recommend Township if you're looking for the best place in the 417 for a family member.

The Township has been a great place for my grandpa to live. He enjoys the daily activities, happy hours, outtings and having people to visit with. Since he has a hard time seeing the help with laundry and housekeeping is amazing! The township has been able to provide everything Grandpa needs and wasnt able to easily do himself.

Our experience with The Township Senior Living has been very good. The staff is very cooperative, very accommodating, and very helpful. The rooms are beautiful. It's a brand new community and it's very nice. I could only go to my sister's room as we were moving her in and she had to be in quarantine for two weeks after she got there. They had an outbreak of COVID in the memory care center, so she has not been able to participate in the dining room and all that, although they are open and running again today. She hasn't been very pleased with the food so far because they're delivering it to her room and it gets cold, but she'll be going into the dining room today hopefully. The activities are pretty nonexistent at this point. It's a little on the expensive side compared to where she was, but hopefully the service will be considerably nicer than what she had before.

If you base your decision by a review, you are missing the opportunity to deal with one of the most caring people you will EVER meet; Mindy Y. I know she has a two dollar Title, but I have never met a person who goes well beyond the scope and responsibilities of her job. Our first conversation she said, even if we can’t assist you...I Will. That’s amazing, that isn’t doing your job, that is being a great human being....enough about Mindy...the room, is not a hospital room...it is a home (and they set everything up) the food is not cooked...it is prepared by a chef! Everyone treats you better than family..did I mention how great Mindy was? Please take the time and afford your loved one the best care

The Township Senior Living has all three levels of care although we only looked at assisted living and memory care. Their memory care only had a few patients because they had only opened it up, and the staff said they're going to place people slowly so they would get to adjust. Although there weren't that many patients there, they have centers for activities. It's a very nice community. The staff who accommodated us during the tour were excellent. They showed us their rooms and everything was brand-new. They had choices like private and shared rooms.
