My mom has moved into The Gardens Assisted Living and Memory Care. It's very clean. The staff is very friendly. They've all been great. The food is excellent. The menu has 15 things every single day, and then every meal has a special. You can either have the special or you can have the hamburger that's on the menu every single day. But if you're like my mom, she likes one thing all the time, and so she's going to order the grilled cheese sandwich every single day. The condition of the place is very good. It's a fairly new building, and they keep it very clean. They have quite a few activities, but my mom doesn't participate in any of them. It's a little on the pricey side, in my opinion. However, they have arrangements where they will still keep my mom there when she goes to Medicaid.

The Gardens Assisted Living and Memory Care-Springfield was bright and cheerful. It's just beautiful. The apartment was warm and would just fit Mom to a tee. It would be perfect for her once she moves in. The people were delightful and helpful. They were to the point, and honest, and we got a wonderful feeling from them. It was a wonderful association. They invited us to lunch on our second visit, and we enjoyed it greatly. It was wonderful. They do sittercise, there are jigsaw puzzles all over the building, and they have musical guests come in or a magician that comes in occasionally. Mom was with us on our last visit and they just showed a lot of consideration and they were very, very kind to her.

The Gardens Assisted Living and Memory Care seemed to have a lot of activities that I like. They have a nice swimming pool with warm water, and so I like that quite a bit. They have a religious service each week with different denominations, so I thought that was really good. They have a movie theater and once a week they have movies. I like the fact that the meals are spaced out, so you don't have to be there exactly, say, 8:00 in the morning to eat. I like that because I know some of the others are stricter. It just had a friendly atmosphere. The woman that showed us around was fairly knowledgeable, pleasant, and kind of fun to work with, so I would give her an A for sure. I'm looking at a standard one-bedroom and what's called a deluxe. One had a full kitchen, which I liked, but it had a very small closet. The standard one had a microwave and a small refrigerator. It was just a kitchenette, not a full kitchen, but it had a huge closet. I like the huge closet because I had too many clothes, unfortunately. My daughter went with me and first we did the assisted living and that was all that we had done. They were so professional, and I didn't have any complaints at all.

The Gardens Assisted Living and Memory Care - Springfield did not feel homey to me. The memory care part was very closed down. It didn't feel friendly. I just didn't care for that part of their facility. The staff there was very nice. They had hair care, a little shopping area, a food area, and one-on-one care where a nurse would be with the resident if they wanted to go outside. The place was nice, but it didn't fit the needs that we had. There was just something about it that didn't click with me.

The Gardens Assisted Living and Memory Care - Springfield was less expensive, but their rooms were very small, which is why we went with the other place. My mom didn't want a tiny place, but for folks on a fixed budget, it was a good option. The staff during the tour was very kind, and informative, spent a lot of time with us, and answered our questions. They seemed to offer a lot of the same things as the others. They had a salon, activities, transportation, and things like that. It was pretty centrally located. It was not far from hospitals, restaurants, or anything.

So far, The Gardens Assisted Living and Memory Care - Springfield has been good. My dad's apartment is nice. It's a little smaller than what I wanted, but I like their community better. I like that the eating hall is right there in the center of the building. I like that it's a smaller community and that the staff has been really good about contacting me if something's wrong. The dining area was nice and open. I ate there with him on the first day and the lunch was delicious. Out of all the other places that I had looked at, it was pretty reasonably priced.

The Gardens Assisted Living and Memory Care - Springfield looked like a nice place. It was clean, appeared to be well-kept, and fairly well organized. You wouldn't smell urine or anything like that. They were quite a bit cheaper than a lot of the other facilities. The staff seemed to enjoy their work and were friendly. They had a yard that looked landscaped and well-kept, too. I was favorably impressed with the place. Looked like it would be a nice, comfortable place to be for the seniors.

My aunt moved into The Gardens Assisted Living and Memory Care. We liked The Gardens because it was very clean, and the staff members were extremely friendly. They do very well, but everybody can improve. They were accommodating when we were doing some equipment things, and they were very helpful. They have activities, and they're scheduled mostly every day. I've eaten there a lot, and it's very good. There is a hairdresser on-site and transportation available. We are trying to give my aunt a little bit of therapy, and there is therapy available. I think compared to all the other facilities, the care is too high across the board for what they provide.

My father is in assisted living at The Gardens Assisted Living and Memory Care. It's a nice facility with caring staff, and it's clean. I've eaten there with Daddy a couple of times, and I thought it was good. He's a very picky eater, so he doesn't care for it, but it's good. They have games and painting classes, groups come in to sing, they bring in animals, and they celebrate holidays. They're always busy with something.

I liked The Gardens, I liked the people, and it's a beautiful place. It just seemed very elegant, almost like you're going on an expensive vacation. The staff was extremely cordial and very nice. The problem with The Gardens is it's a little out of our price range. We needed something $500-to-$800 a month cheaper to make it work.

The Gardens Assisted Living and Memory Care is where we were hoping to get my friend a place. It is a wonderful place, and I would highly recommend it to anybody. We saw a room in the assisted living. The overall experience was very nice. The staff was wonderful. She answered every question, and when I called and had more questions, she returned them right away. If she didn't, she would text me the next day, so I never had to wait for anything. We were looking at a specific room because we knew what my friend would qualify for, and the room was very nice and very clean. We saw the dining room, the social room, and the laundry room, and they told us all about things, too. The dining room looked very nice. Everything looked open, and you could order off a menu. It was in a very nice location, it's very clean, and the landscaping was very nice. It would have been an easy drive from my house to get there. We met the nurse and the director, and both were very cooperative. I like the facility; it was good.

We met with the director at The Gardens Assisted Living and Memory Care. We got to see part of the facility. The main building and the dining area is absolutely beautiful. When we talked with the director, we found out that the memory care unit doesn't accept Medicaid. Their memory care unit is set up like an assisted living. They did not really have skilled nursing, so the residents will have to take care of themselvers more than my mom currently can. The woman there was extremely nice and was very thorough of her explanation on everything. They have private and semi-private rooms available. They are setup like apartments mainly. It is secure. It is in a separate part of the facility, and it's got fencing because Alzheimer's agents tend to roam. So that appealed to us as well. What they had to offer sounded great if they met the other requirement we need.

I went into The Gardens Assisted Living and Memory Care. It was very nice, and also they had patio units. I would like to have an outside entry with a patio or balcony, and they have that, and they also have a swimming pool, which was nice. The staff was very nice, very personable, and very helpful.

The Gardens was clean. The person we talked to was friendly. However, the information did not match up with the other information that we have heard about benefits and financing. It also seemed like we had to walk a long way to get to the room. The price was higher than the other place we saw, but my mother would have to share her bathroom and her living room with another person. The bedroom was small, and the living area had a table sitting in the middle of it when it was not even used as a living room, so it did not look comfortable. It didn't seem as appealing to us.

My mom is in assisted living at The Gardens Springfield. We interviewed a lot of places and The Gardens had the most opportunities, largest rooms, most help, and could take animals. The staff is very good. Mom has a bedroom, full bath, living room, and kitchen. They go shopping, have exercise, games, church and they have a full-time nurse. They have an exercise room and a library.

My visit with The Gardens Assisted Living was very pleasant. The person that showed us the facility was very informative, sat down with us, and spent a lot of time talking to us about all the options and everything they provided. She answered a lot of questions and took us for a tour of their assisted living and Alzheimer's unit. She took us to several rooms to show us the variety of different rooms they had. They have some studio rooms and they have some that are more like apartments. They were smaller than the other places, but out of all the places we went, I liked that one the best.

We toured The Gardens Assisted living, and we actually ended up going there. It is very nice, and the staff is very helpful. Actually the staff has gone above and beyond I was expecting a facility to do. It wasn't that long ago that they went through a remodeling, so all the rooms are nice, spacious, and clean. I have tried the food here, and it was on par with any other place from what I have seen. It was good.

The Gardens have an indoor pool and a hot tub, and I like those two amenities. They also have a movie room. They have a private outdoor space that the residents sit in, and I like that.

The Gardens is a really a great property and I like it. I've only been here about three weeks, but everybody has been really nice and helpful. The place is very clean and well kept. They were very helpful in listening to what I wanted and trying to find exactly the right property that I was looking for. They made a conscious effort to find exactly what I wanted even though I was still down in Texas.

The staff was courteous and patient with my wife and I. It was obvious, however, that they were rushed and appeared to be understaffed. We were a bit concerned that we were given more attention than the actual residents. The facility itself is nice and has spacious rooms. There is very little room outside the facility for gardening and other activities. We had lunch there and felt thoroughly let down by the quality of food my father is being fed.
