My friend moved to Bradford Court. It's assisted living but with different levels of assistance. Even though they don't charge extra for that, you have to have at least one person assist. They encourage them to be as independent as possible, but they are there for any assistance if needed. There are 29 residents, so it's a little bit smaller. They have an excellent kitchen. The food is excellent. The facility itself is beautiful and clean. A lot of their employees have been there for like ten-plus years, which I think is cool. They offer a lot of extracurricular stuff. They do take him out to some outings. They do have an in-house doctor. They have an in-house nurse, and the podiatrist comes. I would recommend it as a community. The first day that my friend was there after we got him in, the next day they came in and told him that there was a music kind of exercise class down in the main room and he went down there and enjoyed it. It seems like a lot of money, but when you realize that it's all the food, utilities, and it includes cable, a lot of the places up here in Kansas City, you had to get their cable subscriptions, so that includes all that. It's a good value.

Bradford Court is a very nice, clean facility. It has very warm and friendly people. The dining room looks nice, and they prepare three meals a day and sometimes they give a choice and have snacks in between. Everything looks really good. They have a monthly calendar with activities and take people out to the Branson to shows, they have a lady that comes in and does haircuts in a beauty shop. I had my husband in here for respite before, and I was very pleased with it.

Bradford Court is a wonderful place. We have no complaints. My parents are residing in a suite. They have a bedroom, a walk-in shower which is handicap accessible, and a kitchenette with a refrigerator and a microwave. The dining room setup is wonderful. The food selection is not as accommodating for my dad. They have activities like bingo, entertainment, flower arranging, and exercises.

Bradford Court was clean, but it wasn't the atmosphere that we were looking for for my sister-in-law. It was just a one-bedroom with a kitchenette. I was impressed by its affordability.

Bradford Court is close to where we live. It's in Nixa and it's just a mile from us. My experience with them has been very good. We like the fact that it's small so that mom isn't just overwhelmed with a huge place. I like the fact that there's a lot of one on one interaction. I think that they're very good in keeping us informed and working with us. Those are the kinds of things that we were looking for. The facility is clean and well kept. My mom has a room there. It's adequate for her. She had a time adjusting to it at first because she had been in a 2-bedroom apartment in an independent living. She's now almost blind and deaf. She just turned 97 and so she really couldn't navigate anymore. Once she's been adjusted, it's a relief not to have such a huge phase to try to navigate her way around. For her, it's a good fit. The staff is terrific. They go out of their way to help people. Beverly, their activities person, is just wonderful. She plans a lot of stuff and keeps them busy. They're very on top of things. They're real caring, compassionate and considerate. I eat there quite often. The food is good. They have well balanced meals. In fact, I talked to Andrew in the kitchen and I told him his meals are delicious.

A few years ago my mother was needing a place and we were not sure where. They had actually been recommended by a personal referral and so I called Dan. He was in the corporate office at that time. He spoke with me for quite a while and guided me through some things to look for. He would be happy to provide us the service but then he would be happy to just meet with us and talk at first. He's just personable and was very helpful in the process. It was actually 3 years ago when my mother first came into the facility. Shortly after she was there, we moved overseas. So I was completely out of the country and I had to rely on them with the help of my brother and other family members. I had to rely on them for information and how she was doing. They were wonderful and responsive by email. They're just extremely helpful in those times to me. The place is very clean and very attractive. They've recently gone through a remodeling and it's extremely nice. Everybody is friendly. The staff had been there for several years so they are committed to Bradford Court. My mom shared a room part of the time she was there. During that time, I will say the room was small but you could decorate it however you want. The rest of the time, she was in a private room and so it was adequate. Their food is outstanding. They have an excellent chef. He's not only competent in preparing food, he also personalizes it for the clientele.

I saw the Bradford Court website and our visit definitely made up my mind. When we visited, their was a meal going on. The cleanliness of the facility and the appetizing meals is the right place for my aunt. I eat there at least once a week too. They've got a good chef there. Their dining room is clean and neat all the time. We just have nothing but good praise for the entire staff that took care of my aunt. She's a 102 years old. It's important that she has good care. She is also in hospice care and everybody there is very kind to her and does a good job. My aunt is in a double room set up and her room is satisfactory. She is now not very ambulatory. She has to have assistance in getting around. It's very sufficient and she gets along well with her roommate. Everything that they need is right there.

When I arrived I was pleasantly surprised. I was greeted by the friendly staff and the administrator showed me around the facility. They showed me the living quarters, dining room, the recreational area, and the grounds. The home is maintained well and looks clean. The staff is well trained and knows how to interact with elderly residents. I was especially impressed that all the staff seemed to enjoy working with the residents. They were laughing together and everybody seemed to be enjoying themselves. It is always nice when people are genuinely happy and I think the residents can sense that. I know my aunt is a talker and she will most definitely want that. I was pleased with the accommodations they offered. The care and living options along with dining, recreational and activities makes this a pretty good option for our family. We will definitely be keeping this place in mind during our search to find a suitable home for my aunt.

After looking at different places, we chose Bradford Court because of their warm hospitality. The personal care which they gave my mom during the visit was with a personal touch. They actually took interest in her and her needs. They looked at her as an individual and a family member and not just another resident or patient. The very first time that we entered Bradford court, I met Amber. She greeted my sister and I and she just really took personal interest in my mom. She showed us the facility and what they have to offer. The place has a loving environment. They welcomed her with open arms and they treated her like a family. The facility is very warm and inviting. It's always clean. They've taken great care to stay updated on the interior. Everything is brand new. They just completely did a remodel. They really care about the maintenance of the facility. My mom shares a room with another resident. They spend time with her to talk about what her wants and interests are and match her with a perfect roommate. They both had similar interests. The food there is really good. My mom actually gained some weight there and I'm gonna have to buy her new clothes. She gets 3 full meals a day. She loves the food so much that when we have her out she always wants to make sure we have her back before meal time.

My folks lived a few blocks from Bradford Court. My parents have both been there for a while. My mother passed away and dad is still there now. They took care of everything for him. My dad is 98 years old. The staff is very good and they've done a good job. I really think it's a good place to be. He's very happy there. The place is almost like home. It's clean and all of the rooms are well taken care of. As for their food, it's excellent. I have eaten there several times. The food is always good.

Bradford Court staff offers kind, treatment to my mother, a resident. They take time to get to know her family and laugh with her and treat her with respect. Some days their job is not fun, but they are always positive, smile and upbeat while on duty. That is contagious for the residents. The residents know their Nurse/Aid cares for them and about them. Facility is clean, activities keep everyone involved and "moving" for exercise! So fortunate to have a fine facility in this small community. Stop by for a visit and see for yourself!

My experience with Bradford Court has been very positive. My daughter and I visit residents there on a weekly basis and have never seen anything that would make me concerned about our friends that are there. The facility is very clean, nicely decorated and has just recently finished a remodeling project that added on much needed space for the residents. They have an excellent activity director, Beverly, who is so loving and caring toward all the residents she interacts with. The staff treat the residents with care and respect in the situations I've observed. I have yet to meet any residents that seem dissatisfied with the facility they or their family have chosen.
