I visited my sister and brother-in-law in Villa Hermosa. It's very lovely architecturally, and it offers nice amenities. It has a beautiful lobby and other gathering spaces for the residents. They have a bistro and a lovely dining room. Also dining outside is available. It's very well maintained, and the staff do everything possible to make their residents comfortable. They have an outdoor pool, a barbershop, a beauty shop, exercise classes, and interest groups. Although the activities haven't been meeting too much for the last year because of the COVID situation, they're gearing up to do more of that. They have a lovely movie theater that probably seats 20 or 30 people, and it has a large screen. I have gone to a movie there, and it was a very satisfactory experience. I have eaten there several times, and the food is good. The variety is excellent, and the quality of the food is very good. They don't have a lot of activities right now because of COVID, but they're phasing them back in. I think it is pretty good. The size of the apartment is small compared to other facilities that are even less expensive.

I went to see Villa Hermosa, and it was first class. It had everything. I like the way it was designed and the way it was built, it's a very high-quality property. Everything was done to a T beautifully, with high-quality materials. Just the whole feel of it was very elegant. The salesperson, Anna, was lovely and showed me around. She had a nice welcoming package for me with a little candle and a little map of a place where I was going hiking. I told her I was a hiker, biker, and skier, so her attention to detail was superb. This place was by far the best in every way possible after. But they don't have a monthly rental, and you make a total commitment, move and live there, and it's your new home. They followed up and invited me to dinner, even though I wasn't able to go.

I've been to Villa Hermosa. My first impression was, it was too large. When you go in, the room that you're in looked just like a big hotel. I was not at all impressed. I saw the pool. From what I saw, the amenities seemed to be fine. The community was too impersonal; I didn't like it. It looked very well-maintained and clean. However, I don't know if they can improve because it's very big and it feels dark.

Villa Hermosa was very nice. We liked where it was located. It was kind of more central and in town. There are lots of opportunities going on. They have quite an extensive library there. They have people who come in and give speaking engagements there. We ate there and the food was really good. In independent living, people are kind of on their own to do things. In assisted living, I noticed that there were some people with walkers, and may need a little more help. The staff was caring, nice, and very informative, and they were very well chosen by the facility. It was absolutely spotless, very clean, and very nice. We weren't just really ready yet to go to a place like that.

I went to tour Villa Hermosa. We like it very much. It was very nice. We enjoyed the tour, and the staff was very nice. She was very knowledgeable and very honest. I saw two apartments, and they were both very nice. They have nice high ceilings. The only problem was the view wasn't very good; it was the parking lot. We saw everything like the exercise room, the beauty parlor, and the library. We had lunch, and it was very nice. The place is very nice. They are very expensive though, and that is one thing. The staff are excellent. The building itself was large. The food was very good. I brought the dessert home.

Villa Hermosa was well-maintained and had a beautiful setting. We had lunch there. It was very good and my friend liked it especially. The grounds were very well cared for, there were lots of flowers, and it's got a Southwest style to it with courtyards and a big dining room with high ceilings. So, it's a very upscale place. The person that we talked to was very, very helpful. I noticed when we were walking around, she was greeting everybody and everybody was greeting her, as if everybody knew everybody else, and were on very friendly terms.

My tour at Villa Hermosa was very nice and positive. The apartment that I saw were also very nice, it was a 1-bedroom. They had a lot of amenities, they would travel within a 6-mile radius for their residents, and they only took care of 2 meals a day and not 3. They also have physical activities, lots of community activities, a movie theater and a pool area. It was very clean, not worn, and the staff was very nice.

To all the people who are planning on looking for an assisted living facility/home, I would NEVER recommend here. Most of the staff in other departments are good and professional; however, there is the personal care department. I heard from a lot of my friends there that the staff are most of the time never on time. All of the residents paid almost 4-5 grand a month, which includes quality care. The fact that the residents do not get the care they needed and deserved, especially on time, it's already a waste of money. I feel sorry for my friends there who had to live there. Even when the residents directed this issue to the nurse, the PRN (especially the one in the evening), and even the director, they always make empty promises that they'll get better. After several months, they pretend that it never happened. They pretended that the issues weren't brought up at all. In the end, their entire goal is to take advantage of the residents and steal more money. I don't want to ever feel this way, but this can't be ignored. I implore you that if you guys are still looking for another assisted living facilities/homes, there are plenty of them here in Tucson that gives quality care at affordable prices. DO....NOT....GO....HERE!!!

We went to Villa Hermosa. It was a little bit out of our price range and had extravagant stuff. They had a lot of stuff that we would be paying for which she felt like she wouldn’t be utilizing. It was not what she was looking for. The staff was very nice. Everybody was very pleasant and very good. The hosts that met us were all very good. They definitely knew their property and everything. They did a wonderful job.

Villa Hermosa was very expensive, but they did have one thing that I liked was that there were lots of people out and around -- a little more than the other communities that I had seen. They had washers & dryers in the apartments that I really liked. They had a vegan entrée on every meal. Plus, they would give you three meals a day as part of what you were paying for. It was not as large a campus like the others, but they had a pool and some outside area. They were OK with my dogs, and I had two little birds that I would love to take with me. It was ten minutes away from my doctor. They would take you just about anywhere, and they had fancy cars too. They would take you quite a long space or area around it with no extra charge. It was a lovely place.

DO NOT, by any means put your loved one in assisted living here! They will NOT get the care they need, or even the amount of care they are allotted depending on the level of care you are paying for. AND you will find that their personal belongings will grow legs and walk off by themselves! You will get no help from the staff in recovering them either - they will tell you to file a police report. In addition, the business manager is so incompetent that you will find yourself down there every month because the paperwork for the long term care insurance has been, yet again, filed incorrectly. There are so many other assisted living facilities in Tucson that will actually care for your loved ones - please pick one of them. I would have given them negative stars if I could have, but it wouldn'the let me submit without at least one.

Villa Hermosa had very nice rooms and good staff. The meals were good. The pool area was very nice. They have happy hour and music quite often. They also allow outside caregivers to take care of a resident. I felt it was a very nice facility. The customer service people were very nice. They had a nice movie theater and craft rooms. They were one of the nicer ones that we looked at over the years. We had a meal there, and the food was good.

Villa Hermosa seemed more appropriate for me. Their price was less than some of the other places. They had a lot of activities that I am interested in, like crafts. They had a really nice movie room with a big screen and seats, which was one of the things that impressed me. The dining area and its food were very nice. The rooms were just normal.

It was very nice, and I like the rooms. I thought it was terrific that every apartment had a washer and dryer, and that was a big plus for me. I could imagine living in something like Villa Hermosa. They did everything. We were very happy with what they showed us. We have nothing bad to say about it. We had lunch there, and it was very nice. There was nothing to complain about. They had a wonderful little movie theater. The location is perfect -- it's across from Trader Joe's.

Villa Hermosa was a beautiful facility. It was also a very expensive place. The staff was fine. They had huge turnovers. The food was really good. Everybody was cheerful. They had trips, bingo, and all sorts of activities. Security was good.

I have visited Villa Hermosa, and I like it very much. The place is excellent. The rooms are very clean and very convenient. They have a shower where you can get in without any problem. I just went for a visit, they showed me the accommodations, and I like it. I think it is wonderful. I want to go there, and I want to get in there. They have a very good restaurant.

One thing I noticed at Villa Hermosa was they have a lot of amenities that you pay for, and with the price difference of other places, it’s worth it. It’s very clean, new, and every little corner is nicely done. That detail is very helpful to get an idea of how they want their business. It’s a private apartment, 2-bedroom, and 2-bath. I saw the chair yoga class. I saw a private one-to-one of the fitness trainer with a client. Another amenity is the movie theater. I got to see what they were showing and what the room looks like, and it is really nice. The food was very good; there was a full menu, plus it was very easy to create your own. That was very simple and easy. There are no issues. The marketing people or the people that show you around -- one of them was marketing but then there’s another person -- were honest. I talked to a lot of people. There were a couple of places that I called and I don’t like the marketing person as they were just trying to sell, but here the marketing person said go find other places, and it just felt very proud of their product. It wasn’t because they were trying to sell.

So far, Villa Hermosa is really good. My mother is not very happy with the food, but everything else is beautiful. The room, the ambience, and the place are like a four-star hotel. Their staff is good. They have a gym, dancing classes, arts and crafts, bus trips to places, just about everything. The only improvement they can make would be to have better food in their dining hall.

I would like to have gone with Villa Hermosa but it's just a little more expensive. I didn't want to pay that much money. The building is newer compared to others. The apartments there are spacious.

I've already found a place and I'm moving in in two weeks. That place is Villa Hermosa. What I like about this facility is that each unit has it's own washer and dryer and that is important to me. Their staff are very nice and accommodating. There's a number of things that I need in the apartment and they're seeing to it that I get it. I've tasted the food and it was very good. They also have everything activity-wise. I like the atmosphere in Villa Hermosa and the people are very friendly.

This is a beautiful three story facility. It has nice grounds with desert landscape, flowers and greenery. The outer and inner decor are beautiful. There are 205 apartments with 40 assisted living. The independent apartments have full kitchens. They are large and sunny. All are handicapped equipped with emergency system. They have a 12 hour dining room and bistro which offers 3 meals and snacks on a restaurant style menu with large variety. The food is delicious. They also have a large living room, a ballroom, activities room, movie theater. library, and beauty salon. They do all three levels of care. There is a nurse on duty and call and a house doctor. They do transport to appointments. There is an activities director and they do have a firness room with two trainers. The caregivers are certified. The staff is friendly and caring. They have a heated pool and jacuzzi and offer water aerobics. Ther is a beautiful central courtyard with walking paths, aputting green, a gazebo, patio, and sitting areas. There are shrubs, flowers, and nice rock and water formations. They have lots of activities in house with dances, bingo, other games, parties, and nightly movies with some nights offer popcorn and snacks. They have outings to shopping, malls, casinos, the opera, and other events weekly. This is a great community.
