"The tour was exceptional. I thought everybody was very helpful, knowledgeable, and seemed very engaged with the residents. I got a pretty good sense of community there. The rooms were comfortable and homey. The bathrooms were definitely nice, and I liked that they had an open dining policy, so if you get up late, breakfast is still going at 11:00. We talked to a few people who have had family members there, and they were all very pleased with the care they received. They watch movies, but they need to add more activities for the residents to do."

"I saw a lot of care being taken at Legacy Village of Salt River. The apartments themselves were stunning. They were new and they had good quality washers and dryers and good kitchen appointments. So, they were investing in the property. All the doors to the apartments in the hallway could be decorated with pictures of your dog or something. It was just a very friendly environment without being too pushy about anything. They had a beautiful swimming pool. Their dining rooms were lovely. They had a place for cocktails if you wanted a happy hour situation, and I thought it was beautiful. My friend and I just wanted to see the Legacy because we're at an age where we thought that would be a reasonable next step. They said if we became residents there, we could use their private dining room if we had a large family group or something."

"We visited the Legacy Retirement Residence of Mesa and toured their assisted living. It was pleasant but we didn't see too many people wandering around so we didn't get a chance to speak to anybody other than the director. It was clean and the location was fine. The amenities were plentiful and there were a lot of things to see and do, so I thought that was kind of nice. It was a little dark but the grounds were very nice. They took very good care of them. The rooms were relatively small. When you're coming from a 3000 square foot home, going down to 650 square feet could feel a little too tight. The person who welcomed us was very pleasant, very polite, knowledgeable, and nice to talk to. We came across a few people and she knew them personally and called them by name, and I thought that was pretty cool."

"We went to ACOYA Troon. I liked that the decor was modern. It had high 16-foot ceilings in the apartments, which was very nice. It feels more spacious. It's in the desert, so because of its location, it's smaller. It didn't have as much landscaping because they wouldn't allow it up there. After all, it's all desert landscaping. But you didn't have like the amount of patios. They had a few apartments with patios on the corner, but only very few. And around the whole property, it's mostly desert. We went to the dining room and looked at the meals they were serving and it was all fresh, nice food, well prepared and well presented. They have three meals today. You can have six meals. You can eat all day long if you want to. So that's included. And they have the same amenities as the other places, house cleaning every two weeks, and they do sheets and towels every week. And of course, if you need any help with assistance or anything, the resources are right there."

"My friend is in ACOYA Shea. It's fabulous. We chose it because it was new. The staff is very helpful. The food is a five. They have movie nights, trivia, a beauty salon, a gym, and a fitness center."

"We toured ACOYA Mesa. They were above and beyond gracious and professional; they were great. We made an appointment and had a really thorough tour. They invited us back to join in activities even though my dad wasn't a resident yet, just so he sees if he would enjoy getting used to the facility. The rooms were fantastic. They were clean, modern, and were big. We looked at three different sizes and they were great. The staff was very professional, very courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly. We weren't there at the right time for food, but they certainly invited us to try to come back at any time that we wanted to try some food or just have a meal. We saw people going to the movie theater and we talked to them while they were going. We were on the elevator with a lady, and she was saying that she was going to the movie theater. We went ahead and walked up there and looked at it, and then we went to the weight room. There was someone working out. There were people sitting together. They were in the main kind of bistro area. There were families visiting in there, and there were other residents just in there making phone calls and just casually enjoying their time."

"My mom has moved into Well Heeled Senior Care 71st Street. She is feeling okay there. It's just a small home. They have 10 rooms. The staff is very nice. They're extremely considerate, and they look out for each of their clients. They lead and provide good care for them. They have an activity director who works with the clients. So, it's very nice. My mom is in her 90s, so she doesn't get around very well, so it is not that I need a lot for her, unlike someone who may be in their 70s or 80s. They have individual rooms. They have a dining room with a common area, as well as a TV room that is also part of the common area. They have a very small outside area. They have three homes. I only looked at that one, and we liked it. They had a very nice room that I thought would be great for her. The staff is a 4, and I only say that because some of them have Spanish as their first language, and they speak a little bit of English, but not as well. There's always someone there who speaks really good English, but some of the staff don't speak English quite as well. Nevertheless, they are super. It doesn't even matter what the language barrier is. They're all super caring, and they try super hard. My mother doesn't always like the food for each meal, but they go out of their way to make other things for her, and that is despite the language barrier. They provide snacks, too."

"I visited Class Act Assisted Living Homes N. Los Alamos. I didn't see any actual care, but the room that they had for my mother was unacceptable. The staff made a good impression. It was just the room. There was a dirty carpet in there, and it was small and just not someplace where I would keep my mother. The staff seemed to be knowledgeable, had the paperwork in order, and friendly. The atmosphere seemed OK. Their dining area was neatly kept, and there were one or two residents in the area and they seemed to be content. The big thing was she didn't have her own bathroom. She was going to have to share a bathroom with three other people and that's not something she could do. The main room was fine where they sit and watch TV. The kitchen was right there, too. The room was bad. Everything else was OK."

"My mother is currently in the Vi at Grayhawk. The overall experience has been fine. Everything has been very, very good, especially with COVID; they have gone above and beyond to keep everybody safe. They're very diligent, very good, and I have nothing bad to say about them at all. They have laundry, although there was even a while that we stopped the housekeeping, because we didn't want anybody in her room. They do have amenities, but we haven't been able to experience them very much because she's been locked in her room. The dining room is closed, the library is closed, all of the classes are closed, and any of the arts and crafts, fun, music, and anything like that is closed down. It is a big complex. It’s one of those things that you buy into, you can live in a house in the neighborhood, and progressively as you get older, you move into the other areas. It's a reasonable expense for care."

"Wow, best home we have visited in Arizona! My sister and I brought our father here for a visit and we were immediately greeted by friendly faces from the owners, caregivers and even some of the residents. The owners personally gave us a tour of the home showing my family how dedicated and willing they are to accommodate my fathers needs. I loved the fact that the owners were the ones giving us our tour because it showed us how active they are in this home. As we made our way to the living room there were songs by Elvis Presley playing (my fathers favorite!) and laughter coming from residents as they danced with the caregivers. Seeing the caregivers interact and enjoy their time with the residents was VERY important to our family. As my father joined in on the fun there was a moment where he lost his balance and one of the caregivers was right there to step in and help him regain his balance! My sister and I looked at each other in relief because it usually takes the both of us to help him up, but this caregiver knew what she was doing! Overall we loved our visit here so much that I wanted to make sure to leave a review and help people like us who are looking for the perfect place for their loved one. We are glad and very confident with Class Act being the right fit for our father and I hope your visit goes as amazing as ours! "
