I had 2 different caregivers. One picked me up and stayed with me from 7-10. She was very attentive and ensured I was comfortable and took any medicine. The second caregiver had to be reminded of my medicine and didn't provide water for me to drink. They weren't supposed to be sleeping and she used my bathroom to freshen up. It seemed inappropriate and I was uncomfortable. She didn't know how to empty drainage tubes. The quality of the caregivers could be improved.

They need to create more consistency and standardized care with the providers. Most of the caregivers either don't cook, or they don't cook food from this culture, and that is problematic because one of the few things that my loved one needs is meals cooked for her. We need more consistency in care providers. Some of the care providers are very good at making meals, making sure everything is done, and assessing what needs to be done. Other care providers sit around and do nothing.

The caregivers help me do the little things that I need to do and can't do right now. I'd like the agency to be more accurate in the caregivers they send. I had some that were very nice but not able to do what I needed.

They go above and beyond and don't even complain. They have taken care of the dogs when they had diarrhea in addition to taking care of my mom. They make a huge kind of impact, and it allows me to have time away from my mom because they take care of my mom. I think they are great. They always care and take it personally.

My loved one refuses to accept that they need help, so they don't love it. That isn't the caregivers fault. Their initial billing person was quite rude to me because I wasn't getting their emailed bills. They need to be more thoughtful during someone's first bill cycle, instead of threatening me with cancelling services.

They don't have enough available people with their own vehicle to travel. Everyone wants to use public transportation, but I don't live close to it. They seem kind of unorganized, it isn't like I can call them, and get them to record everything or do it right.

We really like the caregiver that comes now. From the beginning of the services, they haven't been very consistent and have had to cancel a lot. There's nothing bad that I can think about them. They do a good job at making my loved one feel comfortable.

I think they're quite necessary. The only thing is that now my son and daughter are very much in the care, and they have been eager for me to get more help than I am currently using, but I don't need more right now. I certainly would recommend them, but the thing that bothered me was the preliminaries. They had a lady come and watch me move around, and she was very pleasant. It started out very well, but after that, I went through one young lady who wasn't here a lot of the time. I had to take a replacement.
