They were through with coming to their assessments and when I first hired them, they came to visit me a few times. They should hire good quality people and keep them long enough to actually support their clients. I know the director has been filling in because they don't have enough caregivers. Right now, I am not getting the full time of care that I need, and that is not OK. I am supposed to have them every day for a few hours and right now I am getting them maybe one day a week. I've had some problems with staffing and I don't know if the office is supposed to come out and handle problems, but they haven't. I had one person who left the company who would come out when I didn't have any help. I've been left a few times by myself when they couldn't find any help, especially on weekends. The most helpful part was during the work. She was very good with my mom and explained everything she was doing. The weekend coverage was poor. One person never showed up and didn't call. When they show up, they are average. They can make it easier by doing what they say will by coming out and not overcharging. They can improve a lot, because they don't send people. They have quality caregivers. They are very good and very dependable. I couldn't live as I do without BrightStar's help. The caregiver has her own routine. She cleans the bathroom, does the floors, and does the dusting.

I do not feel that their company is very organized. I have good service now because they are doing a lot more things for me. We have caregivers and they do a good job.

I think they need to do better with their communication between them, their employees, and the clients. They make life easier by supplying someone to watch the client. It has settled down and is going much better now.

BrightStar Care sent me a young lady that is very good at what she does. She is very concerned, helpful, and caring. She's great. When she first came, she made a list of things I would like her to do and things I liked. As we grew together, she's taken on even more. She adds to her plate for me.

Somebody sat here doing nothing through a six hour shift. All they did was take out the trash and get the mail. I asked one when it snowed to shovel, and they said it wouldn't do any good. She watched YouTube videos during her shift. One was really bossy and broke the cabinets. Most of the time, it was a waste of my time. If they would have done a little bit more, it would have been better. Some did the best they could.

He doesn't have any problems with them. They're good with him, and they give him his shot. They know what they're doing. They give him his shots, and he can't do it to himself. They're pretty good at letting us know what's going on.

I like that I have the same caregiver every day, that is important to me. It has made my life better but giving me more incentive to do more for myself.

BrightStar Care provides me excellent caregivers and I like that the office calls ahead to tell me a different caregiver will be coming. The caregivers help me as if they really want to help me and are caring.

The caregivers are real nice, and they do a good job. My family can't always be here to help me, so they've been a lifesaver that way.

I get a quick response back from BrightStar Care if I have any questions. At least the helper I have is really good. I need care with everything I do during the day. I really couldn't function without BrightStar Care.

I would tell others that BrightStar Care has been able to help me with everything. The service gives me help with things around the house.

BrightStar Care has lot of good, but the office will get upset if I come to them with problems. The caregivers are needed for my loved one. They help my loved one get up, do their laundry, and go about the day.

The caregiver that I have now is great, but there have been others in the past that I did not get along with. The caregiver helps me out a lot, asks me what I need, and doesn't just sit there on their phone.

I wouldn't recommend BrightStar Care to anyone because they don't tell their client's about the services. BrightStar Care didn't help because my caregiver didn't do what I needed done.

I would recommend BrightStar Care to others because I feel it is good that BrightStar Care is available to help people. BrightStar Care has had a good impact on life because, even though I've only had a couple of caregivers, things have been good. Thanks to them, I have been able to get out more, drive around, and shop for groceries.

I would not recommend BrightStar Care because one caregiver is not so good. BrightStar Care has twice tried to get me into a nursing home and I do not appreciate that. BrightStar Care is trying to put me in a home and I am not happy with that.

BrightStar Care needs to be on the same page with me and needs to do training questions for all of their caregivers. My caregiver fell asleep when I was hurting really badly. All I asked her to do was to sit with me and help, but she couldn't even do that.

I do not believe in their shabby treatment of my case. They are dropping my case because they are dropping a number of clients at the end of September and I do not appreciate that. BrightStar Care could make life easier for me by being more stable and becoming better. They could also have better quality of nurses because mine has made several mistakes.

BrightStar Care is very rude. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. My husband had to stay in bed for three of four days when they wouldn't come. BrightStar Care didn't make my life easier. They added stress, and I broke out in shingles.

BrightStar Care has been taking a direct withdrawal from my account and are supposed to be issuing charges to my insurance company, but they haven't sent any invoices showing charges to my insurance company. The caregivers that come now are great, but BrightStar Care needs to straiten out its procedures.
