be wary of this company - very sad

I used this company for my loved one's care at the end of her life. They did not even wait for her to be buried before they started daily calls and emails to me to pay her balance. I had not received a physical bill, and the balance could not be paid until the estate was settled. They did not care- they literally called my attorney every week to ask for money, regardless of the fact that he and I assured them and updated them with payment expectations - and that they would be the first bill to be paid in full. Not good enough - they filed a lawsuit against me to have me removed as the fidicuary on the estate! This was days after we told them to expect a check within the week - which was already mailed! Ridiculous treatment and 1000000% focused on money - not compassion.

They were very helpful. If I had someone who wasn't able to handle his situation, they were sure to get someone out the next time. We always met the caregiver to make sure it was a good fit. If something came up they would do everything to try to accommodate me. They were just very accommodating and they sent wonderful people out.

My family has used the services of Hummingbird Home Care for the past seven months for assistance with the care of my elderly father. Everyone involved with this agency, from management to caregivers, has done a excellent job. The caregivers are very professional and caring. When a new caregiver is needed she is introduced with a previously known staff member. There is always a smooth transition if there are changes to caregivers. The caregivers are also very helpful with taking on light chores for my parents. They truly show an interest in both my parents and always engage them in good conversation. They have become more like family than caregiver. Communication is excellent on all levels. They are very responsive to all calls and questions. My family highly recommends Hummingbird Home Care.

For the last 3 months of my brother's life, these compassionate angels provided 24/7 excellent in-home care which allowed our family to spend quality time during this sad and difficult period. They cared for my brother as if he were part of their family, and even tended his two dogs! They spent time talking with and listening to him, prepared meals for him, did household tasks, and created a safe and loving atmosphere for us all. They were always on time, responded quickly and appropriately to our requests, and went way above the call of duty. I would give them 10 stars if I could. They have become like family and are truly a blessing.

He's improved. They deal with the care needed at the time. It doesn't cause him to improve, but they're good. I would recommend them for sure. They are personal and caring, but everyone needs improvement.

There are two reasons we have them. One is for bathing and the other is for house cleaning, since my mom is limited in what she can do and I work. Since the last time, the care has improved, and I feel that they are friendly, take care of mom, and pay attention to detail.

It was the help that I needed everyday. Some of the caregivers are better than others, but then I got close with some of them. I am very pleased with them. The people were just very caring with my wife. I think they selected them well.

Before Hummingbird came in the picture, I was spending a lot of time as a caregiver for my brother. I am not qualified to do that. It was getting hard to engage in my own life. Everyone that I have met has been very qualified, competent, and compassionate. They are caring, thoughtful, and diligent.
