"We went to Brooklyn Pointe. It was very clean and they looked very nice. It was nice and bright for the seniors and they kept them busy. They were playing bingo and doing things there, and the staff was nice. They do have a physical therapy room, but they don't really have physical therapy there, but you can utilize it for physical therapy. People were just watching TV and snoozing, just chatting, talking. I know it had a game room, books, and puzzles. We saw studio types and we saw one-bedroom apartments. The one-bedroom was nice and had everything you could need in there, but my mum wouldn't need a microwave, refrigerator, stuff like that. So we're thinking more of the studio for her because she'd go for meals and everything herself."

"The room at Mt. Alverna Village was a little bit small, and it was very expensive. Once you move up to memory care, it would be way out of our budget. The food tasted better than some other places. I saw the independent living, but they had assisted living in the same building. The staff was very knowledgeable and thorough. It was a good facility."

"We visited Woodside Village and it seemed nice and decent. The people treated us respectfully and they were nice. In addition to the amenities, the place has a good setup that's more like an apartment. It was also clean and pretty homey. "

"My mom moved into Rose Senior Living - Beachwood. Everybody there has been really helpful. They were very good at what they do by making my mom feel comfortable in a new environment. They were very efficient at communication. We did this long distance, so they were very helpful to set up like the furniture being moved there. They made sure it went smoothly. I'm in constant communication, daily communication with the people at Rose, but I'm not there physically. My partner went with my mother to get her moved in."

"Alpine House of Maple Heights had everything I would need. They provide assistance with bathing, meds, meals, and light housekeeping. Everybody has their own room, too. It's really nice and the staff has been very helpful. They have a game room with pool and foosball tables, a beautiful dining room, a sauna room, and an outside smoking area. When you walk in the door, it doesn't smell. I saw a studio apartment, and it comes with a dorm-sized refrigerator and a microwave. You control your own heat and air conditioning, and they can either come furnished or you can do it yourself, then you have your own bathroom. You're allowed to leave the premises as long as you sign in and out, and you would have to wear a Life Alert in case you fall."

"I had lunch at Deer Creek Lodge and it was OK. The facility was very nice. The people and the staff were really friendly. The rooms were a very nice size compared to other rooms that I've seen. It was very clean."

"Villas at King David was an excellent facility. They had the dining room and a nice bedroom or studio apartment with a little kitchen area, but only a microwave because they provide the food. They had activities for them and transportation. It was a very, very wonderful location. The staff was great. It's a beautiful place. My brother did like the place. It's just that he said he did not need assisted living. He doesn't need help with medications or anything like that."

"Vista Springs Greenbriar has been my father's home for three years. One of the most remarkable aspects of living at Vista Springs for my father is the ability to be as independent as he wants - and some days that is more so than others! However since the staff know him so well, they are quickly able to adapt to his needs and attitude of the day. The staff also know our family and are available for questions and offer practical suggestions for ways we can help our father. The building is always clean and bright. There are a wide range of activities - music bingo and happy hour are favorites for my father. Vista Springs also offers lots of seasonal programs and always decorates the building which is fun for all. The community has adapted to the ongoing challenges of COVID-19 as best as possible to ensure the safety of the community. "

"The tour I had with Richmond Heights Place was very good. The person took me on the tour, showed me the available apartments, and answered all my questions. She was very helpful and it was a very nice place to visit. The apartments were very nice too and I think they're mostly studio apartments. It just had a very nice atmosphere. It was very scenic because it sits off the main road. So, there's a lot of benches where you can go and sit out while enjoying nature. There were lots of trees, plants, and flowers growing around. So, there's a lot of greenery. It's not like you're on the highway seeing a bunch of traffic. I didn't try any meals but they gave me a couple of cookies as a courtesy and they tasted good."

"My husband is a resident of Heritage of Euclid's assisted living. So far, the staff is friendly, and they are doing a pretty good job. I would describe his room as being adequate. I would say the upkeep is okay, and the activities are pretty good. My husband is not very active, but I've seen them doing crafts and taking the residents out. For amenities, they have a salon, and that's about it."

"I really liked Sunrise. It was on the top of my list. It was very homey and I liked the layout. I liked the rooms. In between the dining room and major rooms, they had other gathering places. If somebody couldn't walk very far, they could sit down with other people. They had different levels of care, with the memory impaired as well. They had one-bedrooms and rooms that could be shared. They had a lot of activities. I saw some of the crafts that the people were making. They involved them and they keep exercising their minds. They had special occasions where everybody dressed up and danced. The people who are working there were very helpful. They had choices when it came to the food, so it would be something for a picky eater or somebody that liked just about everything. "

"I was guardian of an elderly patient. He was transferred from another facility. I cannot say enough good things about the staff and the facility. It was clean. The staff made special meals for the patient when he did not like the menu. They made sure he ate. They even ordered special meals for him. They were wonderful. When he died, the director and at least 6 of the staff came to the funeral and they sent flowers. They only have 16 patients and they really care for their patients. I would place a relative of mine in this facility with batting an eye."
