I am a current client of this provider

I hired United One Home Care on Jan 6 2024. The experience I have had with this agency has been nothing but amazing. Let me start by saying I have used other homecares in the past and this was the first time my mother who is diagnosed with dementia actually requested and recognized her caregiver. The love and care from everyone from the staff to the caregivers . The communication and how they treat you like family is second to none . My mother worked very closely with Ashley and Hugh who managed her care . They called regularly to check in to see if we were happy . The caregivers were highly trained to Cather to a dementia patient. I know my mom can be difficult but they were very patient and understanding. Always showed up on time and never missed a day. I highly recommend this agency and if I could give a 10 star I would . Thank you for all you do.

I am a past client of this provider

We hired 24 care for my 86 year old mother who has the beginning stages of dementia and severe depression. We shared a list with Tiffany of routine chores that can be done at the home, as well as some of the things my mother enjoys doing like playing card or board games or just talking. She indicated she would ensure her staff would take care of these. My stepsister was with my mother when the first caregiver, Dominck, came out to the house. She asked him to walk around the house and get familar/acclimated as to where things were. She and mother went in to the dining room and Dominck walked into the living room and laid on the floor and was on his phone. A call was placed to Tiffany who apologized and noted he would be pulled and would not return and there would be no charge for that shift. The other caregivers that were there, most specifically Levi and John did only some of the chores and my mother noted were napping frequently during the daytime. Sofiat was pleasant and did give my mother a shower, but also lacked initiative to take on any of the chores other than washing dishes. Pam was the saving grace, I only wish she could have been there 24/7. She would come early, stay late and do things above and beyond for my mother and talk to my mother. Because of the language barrier for John, Levi and Sofiat they did not speak to her other than to answer her questions. She felt alone. I would call her numerous times during the day and I could hear her repeating herself to either Levi or John to please get the mail or to please bring her ginger ale, etc. At times she would give the phone to them and I would repeat her request. When I arrived on January 3, Levi was there and was very pleasant. After greeting my mother I stepped into the kitchen to find dishes in the sink ( I arrived around 10:30 am) dust on the bookshelves, end tables, coffee tables, counter tops had crumbs and food debris. Looking outside it was very apparent that no one had picked up the dog excrement in the back yard. A few times, as with any company, there was scheduling problems , which is understandable, Tiffany called me to ask if Dominck could come back as there was no one else available to cover a shift. I didn't really have a choice, so I said yes, this one time. Dominck came back a few times, and on January 5th, he was asleep on my mother's love seat while she sat across from him on the sofa. She called me to ask what she should do as he was asleep and she had called out to him numerous times and he did not awaken. I stayed on the phone with her and asked to to say his name as loudly as she could to awaken him. She called out to him 4 times and nothing. I asked my mother to again call out to him louder, which she did and he awakened. I asked to speak to him and advised him that it was unacceptable to sleep while on the job, he acknowledged that and apologized. I connected with Tiffany who noted that she would deduct 1 hour from the shift. I advised her that he had put my mother at risk should she have fallen or wandered outside and I did not feel comfortable paying for his entire 12 hour shift due to his incompetency. My mother also went to ER by ambulance on December 31 at 7am and I alerted Tiffany as soon as Sofiat called me. She advised she would notify Ashley so billing could be adjusted. When I received the initial bill, the billing had not been adjusted. I also notified Tiffany that she would be home on January 1, 2024 and if the daytime caregiver John or Levi could be there at 11:30. Billing did not reflect this and again I reguested it be adjusted to reflect a start time of 11:30. In my heart I do not feel that John, Levi or Dominck were provided the training needed to take care of an elderly person with dementia. The language barrier was also a huge problem. I initially chose this company because I read that they do extensive training which I failed to see. Please, if you choose this company ask for Pam as your caregiver, or at the very least someone who speaks and understands English if you are looking for someone to be a companion for your loved one.

They provided homecare services for my parents. They took great care of them when we were on vacation. Never missed a day and my mom said they really like her caregiver Anastasia. They were very flexible with the schedule changes. Great companies.

Best home care agency in Albuquerque hands down. Their staff is very knowledgeable. They have been taking care of my grandmother for three years now and everyone is family. Every single caregiver they have sent has been amazing and they have never left us without care even if that means getting us a back up and having one of their office staff fill in until the back up comes. They always answer their phones when I call to ask a question and I always get all my questions answered in a timely manner. I highly recommend this home care best in Albuquerque.

I am have nothing but consistent caregivers coming to my home. My mother with whom I live with fell and broke a hip. After a hard struggle with our family looking for a caregiver from other agencies, we finally found an agency that delivered a reliable caregiver. So far the experience has been good and smooth with no complaints.
