We are a client of Right at Home in Orlando, FL. It's been going very well. Their staff comes three days a week. She helps my mom shower, and she supervises her while she eats because she has swallowing issues. She makes her bed. She cleans her bathroom and bedroom. She does all that in one of the days that she is here. She does some activities with my mom during the day, like puzzles, cards, or a game. She stays with us for 6 hours, three days a week. My mom is with me, so it is basically to give me respite time. The caregiver just started, but she does work very well with my mom. She lets her do stuff at her own pace and assists when needed. I like her. They seem to get along, so that is good.

I called Right at Home Orlando while vacationing with my family after my caregiver plans fell through for my dad who is a fall risk. I had a tough decision to make which was to miss time with my children at the theme parks in order to care for him or find help. Right at Home Orlando came to the rescue. They provided excellent caregiving service for my dad while we enjoyed the parks for several days. The were very thorough, prompt, friendly and my dad was very content…which made my heart happy!! The caregivers made sure my dad ate and drank plenty of water (which he does not like ), got to the restroom safely, sat by the pool with his music and they helped him with some light exercises. They will be my go to when in Orlando. Thanks for everything!!

They can have a greater impact by being consistent with the caregivers if we had Heather the whole week it would be awesome because the other people that come they might as well not send them half the time. The one caregiver, Heather was amazing, John is ok but he's a talker and the other ones' they throw in are average and it's not really consistent on Thursday when Heather isn't there. The big issue is scheduling we only want mornings and they have issues with getting substitutes especially since we have pets, they send us caregivers who don't like pets so that's a big issue.

It is like Right at Home understands that he can't do everything for himself, they do their best to help. I like that the people that do the scheduling, if the people they are sending into the home is running late or if they call out, they try to reassign someone else.

They were not very helpful. There was a second caregiver that came that was also not able to provide appropriate care. They are just average for the most part. I had asked for a mature and well-spoken caregiver who knows how to deal with dementia patients. Instead, I got a young caregiver who was clueless and did not speak clear English.

The company was there if I fell. Someone else in worse shape than me probably needed them more. She was on time and if she needed to call her boss. She went above and beyond to try to get my medications. I had the same girl twice. I told whoever I had coming that I had dogs. When she showed up she was surprised by the dogs. She was really friendly and personable. She stayed four hours with me. She realized that she could not take me anywhere.

Everyday I wake up and my mom has Parkinsons. She lives with me but I work. Right at Home has provided my mom who has Parkinsons with excellent care and attention. They are very patient with her specific disease and seem to understand how it is unique. We love our caregiver and feel she is part of our family. The caregiver was antagonizing and scaring my father. Because I was trying to tell them that my father had Parkinson's and that means he needs to be treated with care, but my father was acting very strange around the caregiver like he was afraid of him. So I put a nanny cam in the bedroom to see why this was happening and found out that the caregivers was making scary faces and acting like he was going to attack my father while he was getting him dressed. I was absolutely appalled!! I have called and tried to talk to someone in the office so many times and they are ignoring me. So far they have not resolved this issue.

Right at Home has been there for me year after year and is very profession and helpful when I need them. Losing both my legs in an accident years ago mobility is a challenge for me. When I first started using Right at Home they got all my details and made sure that everything was looked after for when I got to Orlando. Right at Home Orlando was suggest to us from our Advent Health Social worker and its been wonderful to have them help my loved one. I’m able to take a little break when the caregiver is here and its provided my loved one with a break from me as well. When Jasmine comes, she helps my mother take a shower, makes her lunch and spends some quality time with her. They talk about what’s going on in the work and read some magazines which my mother loves. Their team of caregivers know exactly what to look for, what to expect and what do to next to help her. They treat my mother lovingly, patiently and as if my mother was their mother.
