My brother-in-law was a resident of Victorian Castle. They complained about my brother-in-law quite a bit. They shamed him and didn't treat him with respect or dignity. When one of the staff members told us what was happening, she sat in an IEP meeting with us, and she got fired for actually telling us what was going on. It was heartbreaking because she was a single mom, and she really stuck her neck out to help, and then she got fired. The place was beautiful. It's a nice and pretty place. This was a problem because my sister-in-law was drawn in by the beauty of the place and not by the staff. And then she found out the staff was poor. The activity director was not very kind, too.
