Mercy Residential and Rehab was nice -- nothing fancy-- but adequate. The staff was good. They kept us updated as to my aunt's status and what they were doing with her. We got a shared room for her, and it was adequate. My first impression of this place was that "this isn't home," and it is not meant to be home. My aunt though commented that the food was very good. She was there for physical therapy, but they had daily activities for the residents like bingo and other games. What stood out to me regarding this facility was the caring nature of the staff. Many of them were there for the patients. When my aunt ended up in the hospital and when we went back to the rehab facility to pick the rest of her clothing, the staff that met us were all very concerned about her.
