The rooms are very clean and comfortable, with a working heater/air conditioning system, color TV, single rooms only that are roomy and with blinds on the window and a view of a well cared for courtyard. Food is pretty tasty and they adapt to food allergies. I have been a full-time resident for three years as of January 5, 2021. Rehab is excellent and caring and skilled at getting a resident in their best shape. I highly recommend maple ridge health services for and long-term or short-term care. My mom moved into Maple Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center. As far as I can see, I'm pleased with her care. She needs help cleaning herself up, and she's very satisfied with the help. She's enjoying their food. She said everybody is nice to her. She has no complaints. My mom has a private room. She shares the bathroom with the other room. It's kept clean. It's not the newest facility, but everything seems in order. They have a common dining area. My mom's getting their meals in her room. There is an area that they can go out to in the summer, like a courtyard. But there's not a lot of land with the property. They have an activity sheet every day. They have movies and bingo.

My aunt was recently here for rehab. I will admit we were worried once we read online reviews and we were hesitant. The first few days were hard for her to adjust coming from the hospital, but the staff was very understanding and helped with the process. My aunt isn't always the friendliest person either. Staff treated her like a person and listened to her concerns. The Dr. seemed to visit regularly and therapy was great. Staff always seemed to smile and were pleasant. I believe every place has pros and cons. To me it is how a situation is handle if one arises, and they addressed everything and made us feel welcomed. Thank you Maple Ridge for getting my aunt back home and for everything you did while she was there.

Please be aware if you MUST send a family member here. The nurse practitioner has a horrible delivery and missed quite a lot of problems that could have been communicated to our family. Ask for a care plan meeting and make sure it happens. I was told my mom was fine and playing bingo. When I saw her, she was slumped in her wheel chair, unable to move her left side. The facility told me she was “fine.” I had her transported to the hospital by ambulance to discover her brain bleed had worsened. She died several days later. I do not recommend unless you can stay on top of the care of your loved one. It was not a good experience, in spite of some of the caring staff members

Because of the Covid 19 restriction family not allow to be with patient . My aunt crying , Get me out of here, no one here to help me. I have mess all over my self , and been sitting in it for hours. This place is unsafe. No one answers the phone at the nurse station or the reception desk. We don't know what is happening to my aunt . She is not answering the phone in her room. Room phone not working . I'm calling the State in AM!!

This nursing home should be investigated by the state. The residents are left in their urine and stool for many hours at time, lights are only answered when they come to shut them off and walk out of the room without doing anything, many are left in their beds for days at a time, because lack of staff, even asking for water is a chore for them. I would also call the nursing home and never get a answer, I would sometimes call continuously and would take over an hour for them to answer. Please think twice before leaving your loved one to this nursing home. There are some good people, but the bad outweigh the good by a longshot. It truly is heart breaking.

Very unprofessional and inappropriate. My family member has been left for periods of time, over night and until the next shift in URIN!! The staff members continue to turn off call light without providing services. Staff complains that they are short staffed and sometimes never return!! Complaints have been made and staff don’t follow procedures!!!! HORRIBLE, DISRESPECTFUL & EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL

My mother was here and received horrible treatment - was yelled at and neglected. Food is awful. Took hour or more to get someone to come for call button - bathroom help, etc. Then, left on the toliet for an hour sometimes. Just awful. Didn't believe my mother about constipation issues and she ended up in the ER and then admitted for severe impacted bowel. They instead just yelled at her, "That she just was obsessed with trying to go to the bathroom!" I also heard nurses screaming at other patients. Just awful - making them cry! I would NEVER use this facility again and would tell everyone I know not to use them.

My mom has been staying in Maple Ridge for about two weeks now and so far she is doing very well there. The staff seems very competent and they're taking very good care of her there. My mom is making tremendous progress. It is a really nice facility. Their rooms are all private. My mom takes all her meals in their dining room and she is very pleased with their food. They have a full breakfast, then they have the biggest meal at noon where there are two choices for entrees at lunch, and finally, they have a lighter dinner. Regarding activities, there is a lot of socialization going on there. They have bingo, prayer service every other Friday, etc. My mom would take communion a couple of times there. She is also getting all kinds of therapy. Yesterday, she was in a little family room where she was practicing sitting down and standing up on a normal-height chair and so forth. Aside from that, she also has speech therapy. A therapy dog would come in a couple of times too. There is also a beauty salon that is open every Thursday. My mom can get a haircut or have a shampoo right in the facility.
