"I toured Hart Park Square Senior Living. I really enjoyed the fact that it was a well-established facility. There are a lot of people that work there that you see visually out and about. A lot of the residents that live there are very active in the activities. It is a place where individuals have a choice to be independent, and they can be self-served and assisted if need be. I really enjoy the fact that a resident can come in independently, and then as they gradually get older and need more assistance, they don't have to move. Every area is sectioned off on where individuals live for the assistance that they need, so I really enjoy that. The activities department is very helpful, because it keeps them active and alert. They have a men's group, a women's group, and a card group where individuals have a choice to play cards. They have different areas for dinner and lunch, so it was really nice. They have a salon there and their own therapy department there. It is a huge facility, and it is in an area where it is like a nature walk. You can walk outside, and it's close to a park. It's centrally located near the downtown area of Wauwatosa, which is very nice for individuals who are independent that they can walk locally to restaurants and to the grocery store, which is right across the street. They have their own transportation service. They have certain days where they would take residents out shopping, like to the grocery stores and to the supermarkets. It was very nice. The staff was very pleasant. They were very welcoming, and even the residents were very welcoming too. They shared their experience and time there, so that was really nice as well. They offered us one-bedrooms and two-bedrooms, which was nice. The tour was nice."
