We toured Riverside Terrace. I liked best that they were associated with Beloit Hospital System, and they had access to the hospital resources, including facilities. I was quite impressed by the beautiful collaboration that's going on there. I was also very pleased with the staff. She in fact called me up just recently and asked what's going on. She was really good and knowledgeable. The building was also clean and well laid out. There's nothing wrong with the facility; I thought it was good. The atmosphere was fine, but we didn't see as many people in the hall, so it's maybe just a little quieter. They have multiple sizes of rooms. The layouts were also good.

Riverside Terrace was amazing. The staff was awesome. The nurses were the ones that interviewed me about my mom, and I thought that was nice. I talked to some of the residents and they were really happy there. I liked what I saw. The apartments were beautiful. The facility was set up very nicely and it was peaceful.

I love Riverside Terrace and my mom loves it too. To me, it’s the perfect place for her and nothing else compares. The staff has very little turnover, which says something about an assisted living facility, and they provide excellent care for her. There's Bingo, jewelry making, jigsaw puzzles, baking and art classes, music class, current events, and volleyball. They take them places. My mom likes the food and it's always hot and there's plenty for her to eat. They have a whole table of fruit and snacks that they can come down and take at any time.

We had a very nice tour at Riverside Terrace. I had my mother with me, and she liked everything she saw. The price was reasonable. We liked especially the fact that it was connected with the local hospital. We felt that the trainings and expertise of the documentation of the people that worked there was going to be top notch because of the connection of the hospital. We did not have to worry about the quality of care. It was a very nice facility. They seemed to have activities, and it was in my mother’s location so she probably knew some the people already living there.

Dad was in Riverside Terrace before he passed. He was in a larger apartment with bedroom, kitchen, living room, and a bathroom. He had privacy, yet there were always people around. It's just very comfortable and it suited him better. The staff was very nice, caring, and concerned about how he was doing. They included him and invited him to activities and keep track of what he was doing so he's not alone. They were watchful and they make sure that he made it to dining room meals. The food was a nice variety. The dining room had nice linens, china dishes, glassware, and they're not using disposables. They take the residents for a sunshine ride or just to get out and go for a ride, take them to a place or take them to restaurants. I would definitely recommend this place.
