Green Valley Commons was awful and very depressing. The setup for the rooms was not what we would have wanted for our mom. They have shared double rooms, which is typical. Each bathroom is shared by four people, so you have to come out of your room, go into the hallway, and into the bathroom assigned to you. I felt that was very uncomfortable, and very invasive in terms of privacy. For example, it's not private if an elderly person needed to be changed because they had soiled themselves, and after a shower they have to get dressed before they can come out, since they'd be in a public hallway after using the bathroom. It's probably the least expensive place, and it's as good as it can be for the price. We checked the dining area and it as kind of depressing. There's a door to it that leads off into the smoking area, so the smell kind of leads back into the dining area. It was an immedidate turnoff for me.
