I loved Arcadia Senior Living Clarksville very much. We had a person from church admitted there. His only complaint was that he had gained 5 pounds in the first week because the food was so good. One thing that was very nice was that each floor had something different. He used to play pool as a young man, and his room was next to the community pool table. He was able to meet people that way. They also had a little movie theater. They played bingo. They had a beauty shop/hair salon. On Wednesdays, I think they had a wine get together. They had an ice cream parlor. There was a washer-dryer on each floor, or they would do the laundry for you. They were very helpful and very nice.

Arcadia Senior Living Clarksville has everything that we're interested in, including the part where we could take our pets. They have a very nice facility, it's clean and orderly, and the staff was very friendly. It's near the local hospital, so we were just very happy with it. They have a gym, a small library on each floor, and a restaurant-style dining area where you can order room service. There's also laundry on each floor, or you can pay extra and have your laundry done. So they take good care of you. We were happy enough with Arcadia that we didn't visit any other facilities because pets were a big issue for us. We have older animals and we want to be sure that they can go with us.

My tour experience in Arcadia Senior Living Clarksville was excellent. What I liked about the community is that, it was in an area where my father-in-law could have access to the things around without going the long distance. It was clean. The people, their staff, and the residents seemed very welcoming and very polite. We haven't tried the food there, but we did talk about it. At the time that I went there, the food seemed like it was very delicious, and the residents there enjoyed it. Another thing I like about it is that it had the ala carte; just in case somebody didn't want the meal, they had other things that were available to them. So, it was excellent. I did see the barbershop there and the post office. They had a little library and some study areas that I thought were pretty good if somebody wants some quiet time to read. They said they have excursions, and they go out into the community. I saw the event manager there, and they were having a birthday party for a lady that had turned 100 years old. They were doing it up nice for the lady and had the balloons out and everything. It was very nice. One thing I did notice, my father-in-law is African American, and I didn't see a whole lot of diversity there. We talked about that, but that was neither here nor there because a lot of African American families take care of their families more than putting them in some type of facility.

My mother moved to Arcadia Senior Living Clarksville for a couple of weeks now. We had nothing but a great experience. We did the survey and there was a young lady, I think she's the activities director, and she did the tour for us. She was extremely knowledgeable, it went well and she's very personable. I found that it was great looking at the facilities and it was extremely clean. They have a lot of activities, they have a theater, they have their exercise room, a nice restaurant, salon, and post office. Everything's right there; I thought it was fabulous. Mom has a 1-bedroom. I looked at some of the other 1-bedrooms from another facility, and it was quite a bit larger than what I'd seen. It has a full refrigerator, where the other ones only had like a small half-fridge. There are plenty of cabinets and door space. She was able to get all the furniture in her bedroom, a lot of closet space in the pantry. It was perfect; not too big and not too small. Everything looks nice as far as the maintenance is concerned. There's nothing really for us to do, we just took our furniture in and put some pictures on the wall and it looks like home. Everyone I've talked to has been knowledgeable and extremely caring. It's a fantastic experience. The staff even know who she is; I heard one of the nurses tell another nurse, "That's Mary, she's in room such and such." So I thought that was extremely unique. My mom says the food is good; she didn't say it's great. She said there's so much to do there that she doesn't know if she's coming or going. She's been sitting in a house, and now all of a sudden, she's got all these activities. She's socializing with all these different people, and I think it's wonderful. It's expensive, but I understand that a lot is going on there. You have to have a large staff to keep the facility up and running and keeping it clean, so it's understandable.

My Mother’s condition was deteriorating and when I brought this to the attention of on-site management they kept putting off getting a diagnosis just claiming it was a UTI. Turns out she had pneumonia for the past 3-4 weeks!! Very rude Resident Service Director and Executive Director. They said they were too busy and understaffed to take care of my Mom’s needs! Have decided to place her elsewhere.

After checking out facilities in this and five surrounding counties, we selected Arcadia. My 90 year old MIL became a resident of Arcadia 2 months ago. She was hesitant at first (she stresses about even the slightest change) but very quickly adapted to her new surroundings and really enjoys living here. We haven’t seen her this active for months! The staff is superb, friendly, always smiling. They seem to love their jobs and they clearly love the residents. We haven’t spoken to a resident yet that has anything negative to say, in fact, most relay (without prompt) that moving here was the best decision they ever made. The restaurant-style chef prepared meals are nothing short of delicious! If compassion, caring staff and excellent care is your goal, you won’t want to miss this place. My husband and I have achieved a sense of comfort knowing our loved one is receiving the best care available. Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, small enough to be personable, all the amenities anyone could want, this is definitely a five star facility!

At first, my Mom was not interested in moving out of her house, but after her visit to Arcadia she seemed excited about living in a facility like this. She liked that the Dining Room was beautiful and she wouldn't have to cook any meals; she liked the huge fitness center and exercise classes offered; and she said she looked forward to making some new friends and socializing with others. The facility is very conveniently located by Doctor offices, the mall and I-24. We have found the staff to be very friendly and efficient! They cater to Mom's needs very well and greet her with a smile and/or a hug. We are very happy to visit her and see how happy she is at Arcadia.

Arcadia Senior Living Clarksville is six months old. The two managers were congenial. My mother's name was on a welcoming sign as she came into the place. They talked and took us to lunch and we got to choose what we wanted from a menu. If you don't like what's on the menu, you get to choose off menu. The food was very good and they have two hour blocks for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have a snack room, bar, billiards room, a full time RN, visiting doctors who rotate coming in, and there was a podiatrist checking out people's feet when we visited. They have a large cinema room and an area where people can go cook. They also have lots of TV areas and a library. It was just beautiful. They'd pass people by the hallway and they'd ask how they were doing or what was going on with their projects. They knew them and they knew their names.

My mom moved into Arcadia Senior Living Clarksville. It's a new place and everything was fresh. My mom likes it and she liked the rooms and their layout. They have a movie room, a pool table, and several lounges. They also have snack area and they do restaurant-style eating. My mom enjoys the food. The staff is great and are there all the time. They do medication management and they'll take residents to doctors' appointments or on field trips. They'll also bring food and medication up to your room so they're pretty helpful.

I would love to live at Arcadia Senior Living. They offered me half price to live on the second floor, but mother is a walking-wheelchair person. They had a card room, an exercise room, a lounge area for happy hour, an area for free snacks for the residents, and a fantastic dining room. They had visitors the night before to teach people to make s'mores. They have places to walk their dogs and take the pets outside, and I was very impressed. They had outdoor areas to sit or walk to on the front, back and side, and enough land space that it was not cramped. The size of the building was humongous, and the way they developed the land around it for sitting areas and walking areas, Id give it a 5. The residents seemed to be happy, clean, and my age.
