"My mom moved into Holiday Uffelman Estates 2 months ago. When we first toured this place, it felt very warm. It was like you were going to your grandparents' house. There are always activities to do throughout the day from going to the Senior Citizens Center to shopping at Walmart. Once or twice a month, they go out to eat lunch or dinner. My mother chose the 1-bedroom apartment with a living room and a kitchenette. She has a new carpet and everything looks nice. I set it up almost the same way she had it at her own house. The facility is great. The staff has been excellent. They take very good care of the residents and they take them to the activities. The food is pretty good. If you go visit during breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you can join your loved one. They provide 3 meals a day, plus snacks. It's an older building, but they're getting ready to upgrade everything. They just steam-cleaned the whole facility, so it looks very clean."

"I like The Villages at the River Club. First of all, it's updated and clean, and they are very accommodating. The people are friendly. They try to help you in every way they can. The apartments are spacious and they will meet your needs. They supply the appliances plus a washer and dryer in your own room. The meal looked pleasant and appetizing. They have all kinds of places to go and even outside. Mom would have a little patio (because she will be on the main floor). Every time I've had to talk to the lady in charge, she was very prompt and got back to me quickly on any questions I had and was able to answer every question I was asked. My mom enjoyed it there. It was very organized and very pretty."

"My parent has been living here since last year and our experience has been pretty good. I like their staff; they're trained very well. It's a brand new community and it's good. Their staff is really good."

"I visited Fieldstone Place, and I had a good feeling right away. The staff was very wonderful. The rooms and apartments were spacious and clean. The dining room was also set up like you were in a restaurant. The tablecloths were decorated nicely for the Christmas holiday. I liked that there was a homey fireplace, too. It was really terrific. They have a community room where they could do everything like sit in a library setting and read or play pool and billiards. They had a little movie theater and rides to where they needed to go. Of course, there was also a discussion group and a church group. I would say that the community was very personal. A family member was welcome anytime. There is no place like home, but Fieldstone came pretty close. "

"Arcadia Senior Living Clarksville has everything that we're interested in, including the part where we could take our pets. They have a very nice facility, it's clean and orderly, and the staff was very friendly. It's near the local hospital, so we were just very happy with it. They have a gym, a small library on each floor, and a restaurant-style dining area where you can order room service. There's also laundry on each floor, or you can pay extra and have your laundry done. So they take good care of you. We were happy enough with Arcadia that we didn't visit any other facilities because pets were a big issue for us. We have older animals and we want to be sure that they can go with us."

"I went to Christian Care Communities of Hopkinsville. I like the rooms. I like the area. The people were very nice. It was very clean. I was impressed with that. I felt warm and very welcomed. They had a living room. Every room was sizable, adequate, and just fine. The dining area is huge, very nice, and clean."
