The Pearl at Five Forks

My wife was a resident of The Pearl at Five Forks for a few days. I like the fact that it was a smaller unit and the ratio of, I would call it service people to patients was far better than any of the other places. The facility was divided into any type of area life for certain things that looked like it was one big facility for everything. But basically, the service was down to where they had more staff per patient. We were very satisfied with the size of the room and the common spaces.

The Pearl at Five Forks was really pretty. The residents seemed happy and the staff was smiling, which is a plus. If you've got a smiling staff, that usually indicates they're pretty happy. It's just that their activities department wasn't geared as much toward the residents' interest, but the overall facilities were pretty and the apartments were nice.

I toured The Pearl at Five Forks and overall, I was impressed with the introduction and the actual tour of the community. It was well-cut. Everything was very clean, very parallel, and the staff seemed pleasant. From what I noticed, it seemed like everybody was in good spirits, as far as the residents. The person I'm working with was very knowledgeable and understanding of our needs, and pretty much answered everything that we had to ask. So, I had a pleasant experience on the tour. I looked into a single bedroom and they also looked well-cut. They were furnished and spacious. Compared to the others that I've seen, those were probably the most spacious ones, especially for that price. The dining area was very nice and clean too.

It’s been a wonderful experience at The Pearl at Five Forks. My husband has been there for a little while now. The staff is very good and I'm very pleased with the facility. They have activities like all the other facilities. The only difference is the people are allowed to walk around. They have inside and outside walking areas. The staff is very well-trained and the administration is good. The rooms are nice, clean, and new. My husband has a private room with a private bath. I have recommended the place to many people.

The Pearl is remarkable. The caregivers and the staff are so caring. They know each person by name and can tell you what they have done each day. The food is delicious. The rooms are so nice and the bathrooms are unbelievable!! Each person is looked after with loving care. The activities planned are fun and each person -- male or female want to participate, I am so happy that my Dad is there. It makes life so much easier for us. And the main thing is HE IS HAPPY!!
