My brother-in-law moved to Terrabella Myrtle Beach. It is beautiful. The staff is great. They are very helpful. They have everything to offer, like the meals, the extra care, and just little things. It is just everything he needed and it is a great place. Their activities are unlimited. They take little bus trips, they have a library, a game room, laundry, games, and social events. They've been wonderful and very caring. It's clean, very up-to-date, and well taken care of.

I toured TerraBella Myrtle Beach for a loved one and it's a very nice facility. It's clean, well-lighted, and has caring people. It has nice grounds and nice rooms. They have an audiovisual room, and the little library they have is nice. The outside area for sitting was nice as well. The shuttle van was a big, big plus, too. Penny, the staff who toured me, was outstanding. The place is just outstanding.

I went to Terrabella Myrtle Beach. I liked best that the staff is friendly and seemed to be caring. The facility is beautiful. It's renovated nicely, it's spacious, and there's ample room for folks. I saw the two-bedroom; I love the two-bedroom. It was nice and spacious and seems to be secure. I feel the warm atmosphere in this community. There was a woman playing the piano and she was very upbeat. Even though the tenants are in wheelchairs and walkers, have their canes, and they're all sitting, the music was very upbeat.

I like Terrabella Myrtle Beach. The people seemed great. The only ones that I looked at were one-bedroom apartments. They're small, but I think they're adequate. The bathrooms are a good size. The only thing that I wasn't happy about was that they didn't have a full kitchen. They have a kitchenette with a refrigerator, a few cupboards, and a sink, but no stove. I asked about a microwave and an air fryer, and they said I could have those. They have a kitchen there that you can use. It's a private kitchen. If you want to reserve it and have a family come in and cook for them, you can do that. But I just think it's kind of a pain in the neck to try to prepare our meal and then move it to another area to cook it. Other than that, the place was beautiful. Everyone seemed very friendly. The residents seemed happy. Several of them spoke to us and were very cordial and nice people. They have a game room, an air hockey table, billiards, a card table, a room where you can do puzzles, a couple of library areas, and all kinds of places where you can go to be comfortable and read a book. If you don't want to go to your own place, you can be out in the common areas. And it's all very well done. They take people shopping. They have a bus. They will take a group to the mall or Walmart. They're also available to take people to their appointments. They have people come in at different times, like musical groups. Everybody is free to go to those as they choose. I was impressed and pleasantly surprised. I didn't think it was going to be as nice as it was, but it was great.

We toured Terrabella Myrtle Beach. That was fine. We just didn't like the location. It's kind of busy with a lot of highways and traffic. It's just too busy. If you want to go out and negotiate, it's too hard. The other thing is one of the downfalls of that place is that when they have hurricanes it is subject to possible flooding, so you have to evacuate. The staff was very good. They have a library. They got a card room. They got everything, the same as everybody else.

We visited Terrabella Myrtle Beach. The appearance was good. The layout was good. The pricing and the amenities that come with it are good. Then when I finally got to look at a room, it was a different thing. It looked like an institution rather than a community. It was not nice. Everything but the room was nice. Penny is the general manager, and was very nice and very knowledgeable. We didn't eat anything there, but the dining area was clean. There were lots of people there. They mentioned all of the amenities. The upkeep of the place was nice.

Terrabella Myrtle Beach was very good. The community is located close to everything. I can go on and do what I want to do. The representative I talked to was very thorough, very knowledgeable, and very helpful. The rooms or the apartments don't have a kitchen. They only have a microwave if you want to cook something. I need a small kitchen area where I could feast once in a while if I wanted to cook, which I very rarely do. But still, I want a small kitchen. They told me all the amenities. First of all, they gave me a video tour or a virtual tour of it, and then when I went there, the representative showed me.

I thoroughly enjoyed Terrabella Myrtle Beach. The minute you walked into the door, it was very peaceful and well put together. There was an openness about it that I loved. The dining hall was just fantastic. It was more like a restaurant versus just a room full of tables and chairs. The people were very nice, and the bedrooms and apartments were beautiful and nicely laid out. There were a lot of extras, like social events. They had workout rooms and a pool table. There was just so much, and it was just so welcoming the minute you walked in. The staff was very good, very friendly, easy to talk to, and knowledgeable. We are scheduled to go back with my mother-in-law for lunch. The apartment had a full-sized up-and-down refrigerator and freezer, but they didn't have microwaves, which would have been ideal. The bathroom was not super outstanding or anything special, but everything had rails. I wish that they had seats in the showers like a bench. Tarabella had a little bit more flexibility in the cost, which was nice. They were more willing to work with the family.

Terrabella Myrtle Beach showed us the models of all three apartments and they were very nice. It was very clean. When I was there, they had a bus returning from taking them on a trip and they were getting ready to eat lunch. So, we got to witness all that. A few different things were going on, but it was lunchtime, so most people were heading to the cafeteria or the eating area. They were just undergoing some renovation.

We went to Terrabella Myrtle Beach. It was very clean. It was newer-looking. The space was OK, but the apartment wasn't as good as what we have at the other place. The executive director was very nice. However, she talked more about herself than she did about the facility. They have some of the same activities that they have at the other place. They had a library, they had a dining hall, and they had a room that you could use for workouts as well as just relaxing. And they said that the family could come in there and if they wanted to prepare meals, they could. The dining area was just a standard dining room area. It didn't stand out to us. They need to improve on their tour. They need to provide more information. And the room could have been a little bit bigger and a little bit brighter.

My daughter and I visited Terrabella Myrtle Beach. They had health services available onsite. They have nurses onsite available who help people who need their diabetes shot or something of that nature. It's extra, but it's available. The staff during the tour was excellent. The facility was fine, but it didn't offer me the kinds of exercise that I like (I like a pool). They're doing as much as they can with what they have.

I am a resident of Terrabella Myrtle Beach. Most of the communities were the same. It just came down to price. All the residents are very nice, and the staff is very nice. I have a deluxe studio, which is fine. It's big enough for me to come into the kitchen area, which is a small kitchenette with a refrigerator, a sink, cabinets, and all that. They provide three meals a day. Breakfast is at 8AM. Lunch is at 12PM. Dinner is at 5PM. The food is good, and you get a menu a week in advance. They have quite a few activities. You get an activity board for the whole month. They have bingo, and they have a bus that runs to any store that you want to go to. Their staff was very accommodating and very nice. They have transportation to and from your doctors on Tuesdays and Thursdays. You just have to let them know the time in advance. They have a very wide range of activities, if you care to join. You can view the activities for the whole month prior to the month starting.

We chose TerraBella Myrtle Beach for our grandparents. The staff is amazing and how they take care of their people there is awesome. It's a very loving community and that's something that they need, that's why I didn't look anywhere else. It's very clean. They take pride in everything that they do there. The food looked really good and I heard a lot of good compliments about it. They have a library, and a beauty salon and they also have a little room where you can get together and do activities. They do exercises twice a week, and they do activities and crafts as well. The only thing I would rate lower than a 5 for is just how much it costs. It's a little pricy, but it's worth it. Everything there was amazing. They're good quality people there.

The staff at Terrabella Myrtle Beach was extremely friendly. The facility was extremely clean. It felt very homey. It's not an old facility, but I think they're in the process of doing some updates to it. The lady that gave the tour was very welcoming. She asked us if we wanted something to drink. She was very social and made us feel like we were part of the family even though we were just touring. They have a beauty salon and an outside walking area with a pretty view of a pond.

I saw Terrabella Myrtle Beach, they were amazing. It had lots of activities going on throughout the day. I was able to see when they were having dinner, they looked like they were having nice meals. The staff was unbelievable, they were all nice. The rooms were nice. They had their meals, breakfast, lunch, and dinner there. I checked out the menu, they had multiple choices of meals during the day. They also had a cafeteria where they had coffees and drinks and snacks throughout the entire day. They had an activity room where they could do crafts, they had an exercise area, and they had a TV room if they wanted to watch TV with other people and not in their rooms by themselves. Each room had a balcony or a little patio, where you could do whatever you want with that. You could garden, you could put a table or chairs. The entire building was very kept up.

Terrabella Myrtle Beach is a great facility. It's very attractive, very spacious, and has a lot of different areas where people can go. My mother-in-law loves to read. They have a beautiful library set up with nice, comfortable chairs, and a big variety of books. They also have different spaces for people to do puzzles. There is a pool table and weekly entertainment that they bring in. She's very happy there. She likes the food, and says that it's very good. She gets three meals a day: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Plus, snacks available during the day. She loves the people that work there. They are very receptive to her and very friendly. If I can't get to her, they check on her for me. They're very responsive and just fantastic! They offer a lot of activities. They have bingo games. They have a small bus to take people out if they want to go to the store or go to Alabama theater (of course that's at a cost to the resident). They have special holiday dinners. Now that COVID is behind us, they're getting more active.

The reason I picked here was it seemed to offer everything that I needed, and it's a friendly place. I wasn't going to pick it, but then when I sat down with them, I just fell in love with the place. Everybody seemed so happy and so kind. They're going to redo the whole thing. So, I'm sure it's going to be a pretty apartment when I get down there. They have places where they offer church services, they provide three meals a day, maid service, and they own a bus that will take us out shopping or to the doctor. The staff was just very nice and very helpful.

I chose here because it's close to the area that I've lived in for the last 15-20 years. As a community, it sort of gives you as much assistance as you need but lets you be as independent as you can be. It's been good. The room has a lot of room in it, lots of closet spaces, and room for furniture. It has a small kitchen with a full-size refrigerator. It has an outside patio, a nice outdoors outside the unit. The food is good, you get 3 meals a day with usually 2 different choices for each meal or two different entrees. You choose one or the other. There's a menu weekly so you'd know ahead of time what you're going to reserve. The food is filling, you're not stuffed but you're full. At times it could be better but it's usually good.

I toured for my mom. The 1-bedroom apartments were a very nice size. They are actually between a residential living and assisted living. There's a hybrid of people that live there. My mom would get the three meals a day like assisted living gets, but residential doesn't. Assisted living usually doesn't have very big apartments, so I was very surprised it was a large apartment. She will be independent living with support. The person who gave us the tour was excellent. They were eating lunch when we were there. We were offered to eat there, but we didn't. I did look at the menu. It's very similar to what she has, like certain things are always there. If they're serving something that she either doesn't like or can't eat because she's got lactose, she can always choose Caesar salad and things like that. There was a lot of indoor and outdoor activities. She's going to have a balcony, and she can look out over the courtyard. They also have different yard games. I didn't notice what it was, but everyone looks happy out there. They have a kitchenette that has a full-sized refrigerator and counters, but no stove; I wouldn't want her cooking anyway.

I toured and it's a very nice place. The room in the apartment was very, very good, and the staff was very, very kind and friendly. They had a good library, and they had a couple pool tables on each floor. The people were happy there, and the residents looked content. It's very roomy, it's very attractive, and it looks more like a motel than a home.

It was very welcoming. The lady, Christina, that we worked with was very knowledgeable of the whole place. We enjoyed the facilities that they offered, the washer and dryer, and the little areas you could go to. It looked like a very welcoming place. There were lots of nice people we met as we were touring. They all smiled and asked us to come. It's independent living, and we saw 3 different styles of rooms. The corner ones were our favorite because they had more lighting and more room. Some of them were more like a studio. We did see a downstairs unit, where you could actually park outside and walk in and out on your own and not have to go down the long hallways and ride the elevator. That was more of a fit for my parents. They had a little workout session with all the ladies when we went through, so we watched them do a little exercise program. They had a beauty shop, a dining area, a library, a sitting area that had a pool table, and a game room. They had a lot of inviting, fun, fun things. It was perfect for our needs. My father's on dialysis, and it's right across the street from dialysis. It's in the middle of where I live and where my brother lives, so it was a convenient location for us. I do think they need more 2-bedrooms. They only have 10 or 12 in the whole facility, and I wish they had more.

We like it very well. They don't have assisted living. They have independent living, and it was very nice. Everything we looked at was nice. The dining facilities were nice. People were roaming around doing nothing, sitting out on the porch, and they had one group playing games. They toured us to different two-bedroom apartments, which we were looking for, and they were really nice. We really liked them. It was what we were looking for. We're just not ready right now to settle down and move just yet. They showed us rooms where they do their games, and they have a puzzle room, a pool room, and a room where you can watch movies or TV. It looked real nice. There was a group of people doing a game or something, and they were doing some entertainment in this one room. My husband and I can't stand and walk too well, and it was a long walk down the hallways to the two apartments that we saw. It was a little bit too much for us. We both walk with walkers, and he didn't have his walker.

It was wonderful. It was very nice. I liked that you may not have an entrance but there's a balcony, you can open the windows and get fresh air and look out to see the birds. It was really clean, it was homey. The person who assisted you was fine and very helpful. We didn't try any meal, but it looked very good. I saw the list of activities, I think there were some people playing board games and just out talking. They go on the bus and go to Wal-Mart and stuff, and pick up things they need. It's a very nice place and it didn't feel like a prison.

We liked it; it was very good. They have arts and crafts, games, puzzles, and just about anything you could think of. They have music, trips, and they go somewhere just about every day -- so you can go somewhere every day. They also have transportation to medical appointments. So, there's a lot.

This would be my favorite. I've been there several times. My brother was there for two years, and my last visit was about a year ago. They had good and friendly staff. The food was really good as well. The apartments were excellent. It's nice, and it's like a Hilton Hotel really. There's a nice big pool table. It was just very convenient to all the stores around town.

It wasn't exactly as I thought. It's a residence for people who just don't want to own a home. I thought it was assisted living, but it's independent living. It's a place without the responsibilities of home ownership, and everyone is basically on their own. They have the camaraderie of the residents which is nice, and they have food prepared for them, which is also nice. I got the impression from the people moving through the place, and from talking to the management, that it's a place where people want to participate and intermingle with other folks. The staff member who gave us the tour was very good. She was forthright in telling me things that I needed to know, and helped me form an opinion. I was invited for a meal there, but I declined politely.

I like the setup and atmosphere, and the people seem to be pretty nice. The staff was very cordial and nice as well. There was a selection for lumch every day that was well prepared, and they also had nice snack bars open all day. The person who gave me the tour was very understanding and explained everything. I was there when it opened around 10 years ago, and it almost looks like it did now.

It was very nice. We were very pleased with what we saw. The people were very helpful. They showed us all the facilities and examples of some of their rooms that we would be using. It was a good visit. The rooms were good. Several of them had very good outside views, which was a good, attractive feature. Also, there was enough space in the room for most of the things that we would need there. The dining room looked very nice and very spacious. The staff member who was with me during the tour did an outstanding job. She was very friendly, very communicative, and very helpful. She answered all of our questions.

It was very nice. We saw the living area and the two-bedrooms. The kitchen was very small but certainly adequate because the meals were provided, so I don’t think I’d be cooking much. It’s just such a shock when you’re coming out of a house because of the storage, so we would definitely make quite an adjustment for that. They had a library, a place where you can socialize or games or crafts, and I know they had more than that. They had a wonderful area outside, park-like, in the back. The staff that we met was very nice, very knowledgeable, and could answer any questions we had. Talked to some of the residents, and they seemed to be quite happy. We did notice that they allowed pets; one lady had a dog with her, which we would be interested in.

My mom is in here right now. I was able to eat there once. It was not amazing, but it was good food with good variety. They have good-sized, clean, and updated rooms. My mom has a one-bedroom with a living room and a small kitchen. They have a lot of activities.

I went to a couple of places for my mother, one of them being here. My first impression was awesome. A gentleman met me right away at the door. I liked that it was clean and that I could smell that it was clean. They were having dinner where residents were served by servers. Everyone had a smile on their face. It was a great place. For activities, they had a bus to take them to Wal-Mart twice a week and to other shops. The ladies had knitting and crocheting class. There was a TV area for watching movies and so many other activities. My mother is a smoker, and she can smoke outside on her own balcony. The place is also pet friendly, which is good. She can have a nurse’s aide walk the dog for her every day. The doctors are on-site all of the time. I love this place.

It was a nice place. The staff was very thorough. They explained everything about the place. The rooms were fine. They looked like standard condos. The dining room was set-up with tables and chairs, and I thought there were four people to a table. They had a lot to offer, and they had a lot of social events. It was very friendly and very open. The people there were very knowledgeable. It seemed more like a community versus a retirement home.

It was my mother's first choice because it had a living room area with a little dining area and a separate bedroom. You could even have a little balcony or a little patio. But it was a retirement home, so if you needed medical assistance or whatever, you contract that with an outside agency. They were having a Bingo game, they do exercises, and you could either watch or you could sit and participate. They had a couple of guests there, and they said, "If you have to be away from home, this is the place to be." Their dining room was gorgeous.

Wonderful facility. The residents were finishing up lunch and seemed to enjoy their meals. They then proceeded to enjoy some entrainment in the atrium. Helen, my tour guide, was very helpful. She answered all my questions. I'm more than likely not going to be able to get my Mom in there, due to the level of care she needs (I am sad about that), however, Helen still insisted that I call her with any questions I may have in my attempt to place my Mom. The units we toured were lovely. Ample space and amenities. Easy access to laundry services and common areas. The decor was lovely. If your family member(s) is able to live independently, I highly recommend this facility

I liked it very much. I did take two meals there, and they were very good. The room style was probably one of the best things about it. There's certainly adequate space with the furnishing and what not that I have. They have plenty of activities for the residents like Tigo and bowling tournaments for one night on the television, and they also have outside activities like going to the beach and going shopping -- those kinds of things. The staff was very cordial and very knowledgeable. There was very small kitchen space though, and they offered two meals a day; the third one you had to get on your own. But I am a cook, and I like cooking my own meals.

It was very attractive. They had lots of activities. The food was delicious. They had efficiencies, one-bedrooms, and two-bedrooms. They seemed fairly attractive. The people there were very friendly. Everybody was very active and friendly. I was very impressed with this place. I would definitely recommend them to others. It was light and bright with very open space. It was very clean. They had big activity rooms, and they had very delicious meals.

It looked like a high-rise hotel. They have connecting rooms that they made into one room. One room was a living room with a kitchenette, and the next room was the bedroom, it was ugly. The staff though that showed us around was lovely. They should make the rooms more like a home. They have a treadmill on the floor, they didn’t have their own pool, and they really didn’t have much of anything.

The rooms were smaller but the location was more convenient for any place that you wanted to go in Myrtle Beach. I had a feeling it was like a hotel. There was an open layout on the first floor, and the surrounding property was nice. They had more people, and the staff was fine. I knew they had a lot of activities, but there were no activities when I was there.

It was fantastic! When we went there, they treated my mother with utmost kindest and respect. They also had us sampled their meal so that she had an opportunity to see what the food was like. If Mom wanted to stay in South Carolina, she's going to be moving in there. They basically had everything except assisted living. So if Mother needed more help and we couldn't provide it for her, we would have to contract people to come in to do physical therapy and so forth. Nevertheless, I would still highly recommend them to others.
