My Mother came stayed her more than 2 years ago after she broke her hip. The Monday-Friday Staff was wonderful including a CNA who was exceptional. She was unbelievably sweet and kind with a the patients. The exception was the weekend workers, especially the Nursing Staff. Horrible and uncaring attitudes. She was there for 30 days in the short term section. The full time resident section is both depressing looking and dirty. Unfortunately, my Mother's dementia is worsining so we are looking at Nursing Homes and unfortunately we would not even consider her staying here.

After pneumonian & epyemia I was in rehab here for 2 weeks. Dr. Dononvan and all the staff were excellent,patient friendly and very caring. The administration was very helpful, therapy helped me get back on my feet. I highly recommend this facility. Tim Fleming

On Sunday, the 16th of this month, I had the pleasure of attending a book signing by John H. ( a friend, committee member of the Flag Fund, and resident ). The Watch Hill Manor served as perfect host for the occasion. You accommodated the family and their guests in a most professional manner. You made folks feel relaxed and welcomed. The Apple Rehab Watch Hill facility is a wonderful place to put your family member. Not only do they have friendly staff, but the view is jaw dropping from the dinning room. I would have chosen this place right away for the picture perfect view of the bay if it weren't for my daughter taking care of me. Once I walked into the building I was greeted by friendly faces. There is no terrible smell that you would expect from such a place. I arrived around lunch time and the hallways were full of the smell of lasagna, my favorite dish. Later on I spoke to the director and she was nothing but sincere and kind. She gave me great advice on planning my next move. The facility is also a rehab. I have only heard great things about them, on account of my friend having to stay there after a hip replacement surgery. She told me she never received so much attention, more than any hospital would have given her! I already told my daughter to place me into this nursing home in the future, I would not trust anyone else but them.
