The Residence at Hilltop is a beautiful facility. My mom has been there, and it's a really elegant place. It's more like a resort than assisted living. I'm sure the residents don't look at it that way because they're stuck there for reasons, like my mom having dementia, and she wants to go home, but it really is a nice facility. She got a nice, semi-private room. She shares it with somebody, and it's kind of small, but it's OK. They have a nice, big bathroom in it and when you first walk in, there's two big closets for the two people, you supply your own TV, then everything's included. She says the food is good too. They have soup every day as one of their sides, and she loves it, then on Sundays they have a cordon bleu. I think the staff's wonderful, I do. When we first walked in, the greeter people were super nice. Everything looks good. They have beautiful grounds that you can walk around on with their wheelchairs and a big gazebo in the back. She was able to go to a rosary, but they also had other things like bingo, different games, a bird aviary with beautiful little yellow canaries, everyday exercises, and a bus that takes them to Walmart if they want to. I know there's always something going on there. It's really a beautiful place.

My parents were living at the Residence at Hilltop. The staff provided excellent care even during the stressful COVID times. The team provided excellent communication when my parents health was failing. They are compassionate and caring. There are plenty of activities for the residents.The rooms are always kept clean. Highly recommend !

My father has lived at The Residence at Hilltop for two years. It's a very nice place. The staff is fine, but it depends on the day and the mood he's in. I have eaten there and it's very good. They have a lot of activities, but he chooses not to participate in any of them. Every other week, on Wednesdays, they take them to the local Wal-Mart, so they can go shopping. On the other Wednesdays each month, they go to the local restaurant and take them out for lunch. They have the typical activities at night with Bingo or cards. Once a week they have a local preschool come in and do crafts with them. During the holidays they take them out so they can see the decorations. They transport them to any doctors' visits they might have. They also offer bible study groups. They also have other residents there that are very intelligent. They have tried pairing him up with other people.

The Residence at Hilltop is an outstanding facility. It begins with excellent care from the moment of admission. The facility is sparkling clean, the residents are treated with the utmost respect, all are referred to by their first name. The staff go above and beyond for residents and the families. There are daily activities all are encouraged to attend. The food is excellent. The apartments are well kept and comfortable. This is a place I highly recommend to anyone facing the one thing no one wants to face. The staff are completely understanding and walk the steps with the family. I am very pleased to have found such a great facility for our loved one. We rest well knowing all residents are treated like FAMILY! If you are considering a place for your loved one, this one is spectacular. The residents come FIRST, which is important. Do not consider any other facility until you have considered The Residence at Hilltop! It is not just a personal care home, it is a place full of love and respect for all!

The Residence at Hilltop was a very good facility and the people were very caring. My grandmother was there for two years and liked it there. If there were any problems they work with me to work them out. They worked with her very well and I just can’t recommend them highly enough. It’s located in a rural area, it’s really in the country. They can see deer running through. It’s a beautiful facility and the level of care was good. They have to help her with bathing and give her medicines.
