Staff is very caring. Needs and concerns are addressed timely. Tons of activities. Great food. A lot of changes for the better are being made with the new administrator.

My mom was at VibraLife - Mechanicsburg. It's a subacute rehab center. They were very short-staffed, and because of that, the staff members were not quite friendly or caring. My mom was there for two weeks and two days. She was in a private room, but there were no side rails on the bed, which was kind of weird. They had activities but it was on the other side. I think they asked my mom to participate, but she didn't want to because she was too sick. It's an older building, but it was clean, and it's easy access for people to get in and out of their rooms. They had an activity area and a little computer area. There was bingo going on sometimes when I walked past the activity room and things like that, and the people were in the room doing those things.

My mother has been there in Personal Care for a year. I live in Va, and my brother put her there. She is 93 and has onset dementia. She can’t figure out how to call me back on her phone. I have tried to call Vibra many times over the last 2 weeks to get an update on my Mom. They never call me back. Last time I had to get the Pa Department of Aging involved. Guess I may need to do that again. Sad situation. I tried many times to get my Mom to VA, but that didn’t work. She was supposed to be in the nice place she has been for 8 years, but moved upwards to Assisted Living. Is also in Mechanisburg. She can afford it. Mom was just supposed to be there for just rehab. Last year. If they can’t call me back after 15 tries, there is something wrong. Now I have to call PA Dept of Aging again. Beware of this place! Something is wrong here!

Family friend is on personal care. The staff are some of the nastiest people I have ever met. They should give out the employees cell phone numbers so we can call them for assistance, considering that is all they do is sit around on their phones. They all walk around with headphones in, sloppy dressed. The building is dirty haven’t had a good room cleaning in weeks. Laundry is piled up on the floor. They yell all your business down the hall nothing is kept confidential. When you ask the medication person a question all she does is roll her eyes. The manager that used to be there was the best, anytime day or night if something happened she was there. we wish we knew where she went.

I was to be here for 7 - 10 days. For inpatient rehab for a rod put in my leg after fractured femur. After being her 3 days, I am going home for home care. Meds not on any schedule, waited for 1 1/2 hours after ringing call bell to get help to use restroom. My significant other had to take me because nobody answered call bell. Don't send your loved ones here...... not worth it... gave 1 star because you have to give them something to move on. Or would of got none!!

My mom is at VibraLife - Mechanicsburg. It's a fairly new facility. The nurse-to-patient ratio is very good. It's a good number. They have COVID in the building, so now the patients are in their rooms primarily. They don't have them meeting in places. But sometimes those with memory care disorder (like my mother), they bring them to areas, so they could keep a close watch on them. As far as I can tell, she is getting really good care. She got a private room because they didn't have any other available at the time, and they have not moved her. They have activities, but they're not doing them right now because of COVID. The PT and OT come to the rooms to do it. They have a small dining area where my mother can sit and eat or they bring it to her room.

My mom was in VibraLife for rehab. The staff was very helpful to me and my sister and they were very attentive to my mother. She was in a semi-private room and they did try to match her roommates to her. So her roommates got along well and seemed compatible. And the rooms were spacious enough and private enough so that things could go on in private that needed to, yet it gave my mom some company and somebody to talk to. So it was a good setup for my mom. The outdoors was very pretty, and laid out very nicely, and there were good paths so that if we wanted to take Mom out in a wheelchair, we had a easy time doing that. Very nice places to walk or places to sit and visit.

My mom spent the last week of her life here and my only regret is that we could not get her there sooner. The level of care, concern and respect shown to my mother, sister and I was pivotal in helping us say goodbye. Every member of the staff, from the guy mopping the floor after lunch, to the nurses, to the leadership, was so incredibly kind and thoughtful.

Not a great experience! 98 year old Aunt admitted at Vibralife after a week in the hospital. She had no family support as no one could go in ! We bought her new clothes that were lost or misplaced. The phone in her room was disconnected. The phone number they give you is not correct. The office doesn't respond to your phone messages. They are extremely short staffed ! For Days we had no idea of how she was or her condition. If you can find a better option take it ! We're not a fan !

This place had an open bed for my Grandfather who was ready to leave the hospital. They did not give him his prescribed medicine after he moved in and sent him to the hospital a few hours later. This was after making him spend the night in a wheelchair by the nurses station because they did not have a plan for him for the night. This was complete lack of planning on their part. They are interested in filling beds and making money instead of what is best for the patient.

My dad was at VibraLife for over 5 weeks and unfortunately had another stroke. The care he received and staff went above and beyond with their compassion and treating my dad like a family member. Highly recommend!

I utilized VibraLife for a respite stay for my mother. The Management team was extremely supportive to me as this was the first time my mother has been out of my care. The staff was patient with my mom while she adjusted to her new environment. The activities director really did make an effort to keep her engaged. The residents treated her as if she was family. Mom truly benefited from her time at Vibra Life. This was a good experience for my mother and myself.

I looked at Vibralife. I had an appointment, but nobody knew I was coming, so the lady that was supposed to give the tour was not there. I got a semi-tour from the lady at the desk, but she didn't have full access, and there was nobody around. The place was clean, but there were no residents, and there was very few staff. The room we saw wasn't much bigger than a large walk-in closet. It was so tiny that I felt claustrophobia. The staff said the residents do not interact, and after meals, they go back to their room.

I didn't like the rooms at VibraLife because they were very dark and had only one bed and one chair. That's all. That wasn't a room. It was like a jail, in my opinion, and very small without much closet space. It's not what I wanted. I think that the rooms should be a little bit more appealing. To me, it wasn't homey. The food seemed OK.

There was one in Mechanicsburg named VibraLife. That is also very nice, and it is a new facility. It basically has the same thing, but they don't have the long term care if my mother needed it. We chose not to go to those places because of the fact that they don't have the long term care. She has her funds once her house is sold, but that won't last forever. I would give VibraLife an excellent rating.
