I've read other reviews and the same theme is present a severe shortage of staff ! I'm here to tell you that every care center I've visited for my mom and dad is short of staff. Some facilities handle it better than others and it is my opinion that ambassador manor handles it better ! The staff and residence have created a very homey atmosphere that hasn't been present in my detailed search for my mom and dad a place they can call home. It's been 3 months and I'm so happy with my decision to trust the people of ambassador with the most important people in my life.....

My wife was transferred to Ambassador Manor recently from a hospital in Tulsa with multiple health including Covid-19 positive test results. The administrator and those staff members who I have been able to speak with have been very helpful. In fact, this past week one of the staff took the phone to her room and I was able to visit with my wife. Food she tells me was VERY good but too much. They also she told me was receiving loving care. Hope she can return to the facility here soon. Thank-you - Ambassador Manor staff

My father-in-law was there for rehab and dealing with sundowners syndrome. They sent him back to the hospital first night - they couldn't handle him. They advised MIL that if he fell, they had no one to pick him up - those people only work on the day shift. Equipment was old, dusty, dirty and did not work well. Employees were not dressed professionally. The odor int he building and on some residents was the nose-holding kind. There is no way this place passes code/inspections. If all places in Tulsa are like this, hire someone private, quit your job or something. This IS NOT a place you want your loved one to live in.

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. My mother has been there for over 6 months least than 9. Mom is more or less bed ridden. In that time she fell in bathroom, toilet seat lose and no handle bars installed, had a septic bottom twice, (from not changing her when she went to potty) Lost her false teeth, Took them 7 months to replace, and have dropped her from the shower chair to her bed and there is a big bruise with broken skin from elbow to shoulder. Staff doesn't seem to care about their patients, Housekeeping is a joke. ,NOT RECOMMED

My mother has been at Ambassador for several years. They do not help her get dressed or change underwear at all...they do not care about the residents at all. The showers/bath area do not have non slip mats so the aides have to put down sheets so they can get the residents in and out of the shower. The floor has ceramic tile which makes it slick when it's wet - accident waiting to happen there for resident and worker. The food is horrible and skimpy. They never get cake or ice cream - all they get is jello and applesauce. I've seen some of the aides eating ice cream from the kitchen area so I know they have it - they just don't give it to the residents.

The facility is a good place, most seem to provide caring personal care. As is the case always short of personnel on a lot of occasions and food services could be improved.

Steer clear from the memory unit! Dark, long hall with CMAs sitting around the desk. No interaction with residents, no LPN or RN on the locked hall just uncaring, untrained aides. I removed my loved one pronto after seeing what went on there!

My father actually got built up well enough that he could start walking again on his own. That’s why he decided to come home. He did really well there at Ambassador Manor. I would recommend it to anyone who needed skilled nursing or even assisted living; he was in both. They were very kind and caring with him, and he still has outpatient care that he’s doing. It was a very clean and nice place. I was very pleased with it. He wasn’t real thrilled with the food, so I think they should improve on better selection of food.

This facility is very clean and very pretty inside and out. My best friend's dad is in this facility and she lives out of town, so I visit him often. He is also blind, and they are very good about including him in all their activities, despite his inability to see what he is really doing. They take him to Dr. Visits as well. This has been very helpful for my friend, she lives 2 hrs away. He also recently lost his wife of 60 yrs, which used to take care of him. She had a stroke and was completely dependent on 24 hr care herself.she passed away abyear ago, which made it almost impossible for him to survive and take care of himself. I am very thankful for this facility.
