My father has moved into Senior Star at Burgundy Place. It's been very nice. It's been very welcoming and very helpful. It's a great little spot. It's kind of tucked away. It's not real big. It's just the perfect size. The food is very good. It's been very healthy. He's very picky, but he's eaten all three meals every day that he's been there, which is good because I need him to be healthy. They have lots of stuff all day long, puzzles, games, happy hour, dancing, and karaoke. I love it. We haven't really used it yet, but there is a small gym available. They have an activities room, a salon, a little sitting area, and an outside area. Everybody's been great except one young kid who doesn't really know anything. He's not very good at it, but hopefully he'll learn. It's been outstanding. They have some assistance that you can add a la carte when the time comes that you need it. The cost is better than it is going to an assisted living. We like it there. I think we're going to stay a little while. It's been very helpful for my brother and I to have my father there. It really takes quite a load off for us, and a little peace of mind.

I toured Senior Star at Burgundy Place. It was clean. It was accommodating. The facility was very nice. My mom did not like the idea of living in a ten-storey building or nine-storey building. That was the only thing that didn't appeal to her. The rooms were spacious and nice. They did have a full kitchen, which my mother would not use, but if you want a full kitchen, it was nice to have it.

We toured Senior Star at Burgundy Place. It was a pleasant place. The people that we met were helpful and friendly. The age of the building didn't have a wow factor. I think that it's probably not going to be one of our top choices. They had a small exercise area, a little library space, and some walking trails outside. There was nothing like a swimming pool or anything like that. It wasn't a bad property, but it didn't have that wow factor about it.

I have chosen Senior Star at Burgundy Place. I like the location, I like the look of it, and I like the activities that they have there. The facilities seem to be clean and comfortable. There's a washer and dryer at the end of each floor for seven apartments. As you get off the elevator on each floor, there's an activity area, too. There's an open dining hall from 7:00 in the morning to 6:30 at night with meals served at any time. They also do the cleaning and linen laundry. I have tried their food, and it is pretty good. The dining area is kind of like a restaurant. You go in and take a seat; they have table service. The staff I met were personable and seemed to know what they were talking about.

I will be moving into Senior Star at Burgundy Place. Before you get through the door, they have chairs all over, benches, flowers, some dogs, and squirrels. They have a place for the dogs, and that's one main thing I like about it. I walked up to the door, and I felt like I had a lot of worries taken off my shoulders. The staff talked about how they locked the facility up so no one can get in. On the first floor, there's a computer area. The second floor is a library. The next floor has fitness stuff. The next one has crafts and painting. They have a Wii bowling league. They go around to the other nursing homes and challenge them. You have an oven, a stove, and a refrigerator in your apartment if you would like to make something on your own. The meals are delicious. I felt like I was home. The people at the front desk and everybody else are all so friendly. One of the residents has been there for almost 20 years, and she loves it. They're so polite and nice. I found out that they'll come out at night before you go to bed and just lightly knock on your door. They'll ask if you need anything done before you go to bed, and then they'll lock the door. I can't wait to get over there. It's the cleanest place I've ever seen.

The rooms are nice with good bathrooms and adequate kitchens. There are always activities planned and transportation to shopping. The cafeteria has above average food and there is plenty of choice. The best and most important part is the staff. The staff is excellent. They are friendly, kind, and willing to help in any way. They go above and beyond to make sure residents are safe and taken care of.

My mother is at Senior Star at Burgundy Place. She is involved and already doing some activities. On Sunday they drove her to our church and I took her back. She just fit right in there and she really seems to be enjoying it. The food is good. I've eaten there with her about three times now. They have a party where they try new food in their little country kitchen, watch Wheel of Fortune, and play Bingo. She hasn't gotten to go on an outing with them just yet, but they do have those. I went to a little tearoom before she moved in there. They have plenty of things and options for the residents to do. They have a wine tasting party on Friday nights. It's been a great experience and we're happy. They serve three meals a day. If you like something else even later in the day, they will fix it for you. Once a week they clean her apartment for her. They have exercise equipment for them to use and they have a lady there that helps them. She was able to get a room on the bottom floor and that's a real plus, because she uses a walker 24/7.

The room at Senior Star Burgundy Place was kind of like an average apartment. There were no doors, except for the bathroom and the outside door though. The dining room was nice, and the food was excellent. They have an area where you can play pool, a nice washer and dryer setup, a card room which I was impressed with because I like to play cards, and an exercise area. It was nice, but it didn’t have everything that I particularly wanted. I was very impressed with the staff, they were very good. When I made a call back, they had answers to my questions either at that time or shortly thereafter. I could tell that they work well with the clientele while I was on my visit, so I was very impressed.

Senior Star at Burgundy Place was very good. I was very pleased with it. In fact, I plan on moving there later on. Everybody was very nice. I couldn’t pick out anything that I didn’t care for, except that they didn’t have a pool. They had pretty plants and a nice dining room. The people were very polite. You’re served meals by the servers. The rooms were OK. You take in your own furniture, which is good. They had nice living rooms and sitting rooms, so you don’t necessarily stay in your room all of the time. They had guest speakers, music, and dances.

My mom is an independent living person at Burgundy Place. It just seems homey, and the people seem really friendly. My mom likes the food. The place is very clean and modern; she said things are updated every eight years. She's been doing exercises every day; three days a week, she does it on the machines, and the other two days, she does physical activity. She's also been doing Wii Bowling. There are a few restaurants, a hotel across the street, and other living centers not too far in either direction. There's housing around there, too, but it's not highly populated. The atmosphere is light-hearted and friendly, and the staff knows her by name.

I visited Senior Star at Burgundy Place. It was a very good place. The facility was very nice, but they didn't have cottages. I was looking for a cottage. Their accommodations and the staff were very good though. The food was good as well.

Burgundy Place was very nice, and they were very helpful. They showed me all the floor plans that they had, the ones that I was interested in, and the extra activities that they do there. The staff was absolutely fantastic. They had a workout room that had all kinds of machines and things in it. They had a very nice library area set up. They took me through their dining room, and it was very nice.

I stayed for 60 days at Burgundy place and it's considered an upscale community. It has a very safe environment. They have physical therapy available for people with spine problems. It was a high-rise facility but everything's there for the people in wheelchairs and some on walkers. They know when and when not to help you. Outside there are duck ponds so people could commune with nature. The food was excellent with numerous choices and it was well prepared. It was an extremely well managed facility. You pay depending on the severity and of the assistance, you needed. Many times, they have people like me coming in for a temporary stay. I couldn't bear any weight on one foot for at least 4 weeks and balance was an issue as well as risk of falling. There's a nurse on the staff. Their programs were tailored to the individual. It's probably the most expensive facility in town but it has the best service and care.

Took my mom for a visit. We are trying to find her a place to start living life again after the death of my father. She LOVED it! We have been to several places that she liked, but she said she felt "at home" while we were here. She should be making her move and pushing the buyer of her home to close. She is ready to live here.
