They are so sincerely caring. They will keep the family informed. This place isn't most beautiful but it feels like home. The food is great and they will cook something special if you ask. My mom is there, it feels like home when you walk in. I can't say enough about this nursing home. I have been on top of my mother's care and they work side by side with me to accomplish every goal we wanted with my mother. If you have any doubt about where to place your loved one this is the place.

My father is there. All of his clothes keep getting stolen. They lost his dentures, and didn't even care enough to look for them. His wallet was stolen with a little money. But mostly the nursing staff care so little about him that they don't report to the next shift that he is BLIND. Several of the nuses I talked to stated no one told them.So he is left all alone in a dark world.

The staff here is very kind, patient and caring. My aunt was placed in this facility short-term after a very bad fall. She needed help learning how to walk again and they were super patient with her, but they also pushed her a little because it hurt and she was relunctant to do it. It only took her a little over four weeks and she was mobile again and on her way home. Also, the food served at this place is very good. The nurses and staff are very caring about making sure the residents eat and like what they are eating. They have ice cream and other desserts throughout the week and if a resident doesn't eat, it's not unlikely that they will offer them a substitiution in an effort to coax them in to eating something (which I think furthers the healing process). They also accepted her insurance, which unfortunately, was an important part of where she stayed. At the time, she was on Secure Horizons. They paid for three weeks of rehabilitation and she had to pay for one week out-of-pocket.
