They would not let my wife contact me because she asked to frequently. No phones in the rooms. Staff raising their voice at my wife who has a traumatic brain injury.

Our experience at this facility was TERRIBLE!! Our loved one was dropped due to negligence on the part of the staff. When they began having bowel difficulty, the staff informed us they had to wait on doctor's orders to give gas pills. Took several hours to get the orders, then when orders arrived the facility did not have any medicine in stock and would have to wait until a shipment arrived. The shipment was expected to arrive 10 HOURS LATER!!! When our loved one requested to go to the hospital for a suspected bowel obstruction, they were told by the evening nurse, Mark, "You do not need to go to the ER as all quadrants of the bowel are working, the hospital is not going to do anything different than what we are doing here." I end the quote. We left the facility at approximately 9 PM by squad. . Our loved one was immediately put on oxygen in the squad, (Interestingly enough, nursing staff discussed a low oxygen rate and possibly starting oxygen on Tuesday). Our loved one required a 2 day hospital stay due to a paralytic ileus and lots of stuff in the stomach. The nurses were incompetent and very degrading to our family and loved one. The administrator of the facility was so bold as to ask us to give them a second chance. Stating that it would be better than our first experience. The administrator stated that there would be questions asked of the nursing staff and that there would be further education. I will share that there were MANY empty rooms we passed on the way to the room of our loved one. Perhaps others are learning of the poor care and total disregard for dignity of the patients who are housed there. In my opinion, this facility is not fit for animals, as there were numerous issues with food, cleanliness, number and professionalism of the staff. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The site will not allow me to post without any giving any stars. I am giving one star only due to this fact. This facility does not even deserve ONE star!

Went to visit this place should be shut down. Urine stench was unbelievable patients sitting in hallways air not working correctly and staff had no regard for anyone. I think we need to get medicare involved to really look at this place with their treatment and care. I would not put my dog in there shame on dhec for allowing this unbelievable

We had my mother in Heartland Greenville before, and we hated it. It was not clean. The staff was uneducated, basically. The rooms were tiny. It was not just a professional atmosphere at all. It was awful. I can't say one good thing about it. The food was awful.

Poor care, incompetent doctors and horrible food. Be involved and be an aggressive advocate for your loved one.
