"My family member received excellent care and the staff was helpful. They took very good care of my family when I couldn't. They were on the rehab unit which is recently been updated and it was beautiful. They overed activities for all and trips, they have a beauticians on site and the therapy team was wonderful. It is a hidden gem in the mountains. Thanks"

"Mother was at Emmanuel Center for about a month, and it was better, nicer, cleaner, and safer. The staff was better than average. I guess, she is in the beginnings of dementia. Her issue is that she would think that people didn’t take care of her in a timely manner, but we as her family thought that they were much better. I just admire the work that they tried to do with the patients. "

"it seems to be a well run facility the staff there genuinely seems to care about the well being of my girlfriend even though she did injure herself while she was there they were very quick to help her and do what they could to help her with the injury none of which was any of their doing she just put more pressure on her wrist then it could handle. she has been there quite a bit longer then any of us would of liked or expected, but she has had a hard time walking and it is gonna take a while for her legs to get back in shape enough for her to come home and it seems like she is being well taken care of there as i said they seem to have a nice staff she has quite a few different staff members that help her at various hours, but she will probably need a lot more therapy and probably a major knee surgery before she can come home which will require even more therapy she has a long road ahead but they do seem to have a very knowledgeable staff there and even though she is not happy being there she is being well taken care of while she is there. "

"My mom had her physical therapy as Mt. Carmel Nursing Rehab Center. They also had the medical part to make sure that she was okay from the stroke the she had in her spine. The people there were very professional. They were very helpful and respectful. They had her on a schedule and they made sure that she had her therapy. They also took care of her diabetes and coumadin and everything else she needed medically. They provided activities for the patients. They even had her do some chopping and stuff to help make soup. The room that she was in was very clean and neat. I had nothing negative to say about them. "

"The facility and the staff is nice. My mother's been in Rolling Hills for two months now. "

"My mother was a resident at this facility for rehab after falling and breaking her hip. Initially, we needed to be persistent in advocating for some basic needs. Some of the staff was genuinely caring and kind. Others seemed to forget that the residents were people who didn't ask to be placed there. Much of the time the facility smelled of body odors where residents were not promptly cleaned. Wound care instructions via wound clinic were not always followed by the nursing staff. After a couple weeks of persisting in requiring quality care, the staff finally started giving it. There were a few employees who genuinely cared for the resident, which made the overall experience bearable. However, from this experience I would not recommend this as a facility as a place where you could leave your loved one unattended and have full confidence that the best care was being given. Staff worked long hours and seemed to be shown little appreciation. However, the rehab program was excellent. My mother had been laying for five weeks prior to being admitted and they worked with her till she was able to walk and return to her home. The therapists were wonderful, being consistent and persistent in her plan for recovery. "

"Sunset Ridge Rehabilitation and Nursing Center was newer than the other place, brighter, the furnishings were nicer, and the rooms were bigger. The facility was very clean and spacious. The staff was very nice, very polite, and very courteous."

"My husband has been in Orangeville Nursing & Rehabilitation Center for a month now. Just like every nursing home in the area, they need more people to work there and they're looking. Right now, I don't think they're hiring anybody extra because of COVID. Everything's kind of shut down for now, but he's adjusting. He's enjoying having a roommate. The nurses are wonderful. The staff is exceptional. The only problem is they don't have enough people working there and I'm pretty sure that's the case everywhere. The food is OK, some days are better than others. It's very clean, but they do not have central air, which completely boggles my mind. When Medicare was finished with their 20 days of providing physical therapy, they told me that from then on, it would cost me $400 a day for two hours of physical therapy and that really kind of blew my mind. The staff members are very nice, and they're working very hard. They're trying to take care of everybody as best they can with the time that they have. Yesterday, the dinner was beautiful. They have an outside area that looks very nice. They have some areas with nice big windows so that they can look out on the outdoors, which is nice. I just think they charge more than anybody else around or at least no less."

"My husband is in Tremont nursing home. They're helping him, they're nice to him, and the care is good. They do whatever has to be done. The place is clean. Whenever something happened, they call me. They serve the meals, and they take him anywhere if he needs anything. They have a doctor there too. The caregivers are all nice to him. "

"The dementia unit of Loyalsock Creek was awfully small. There wasn't enough room in the common area for the people. It was very crowded. We didn't really get to go in a room, but from what I could see, they seemed large enough. It was a very old place, and they were going through renovations, but I just wasn't pleased with the whole dementia area. I didn't think it was well supervised. I didn't like the way they had it set up for residents to eat their meals. It was more like a cafeteria rather than a dining room. The place my mother is now is more of a dining room. My sister and I did not like the setup at all. The staff was very upbeat and very friendly. "

"I have been in Manorcare for eight months now. The staff is very well, very knowledgeable, very friendly, and very helpful. I am very grateful to everybody. They have an excellent therapy. They are very professional and everything. The whole building is very clean. The food is good. I have not been to any of the activities, but they have an entertainment room and craft room. "

"My aunt was in Valley View Nursing Center for rehabilitation. They brought her back, I think they went out of their way. She was only there a short time, they're pretty good overall, you get full care, but it costs double than the other places. They would let you come into the little community room, with a self testing thing, where you could spend half an hour with your loved one, and that was nice. They always seemed to have really good food, and all their accommodations were good. I never had problems with the staff."

"Roseview Manor was clean and nice. They had nice big rooms, two rooms that are enough for us. They provide three meals a day, and I like the setup of the dining area. I think it’s a nice, small place, and I will recommend this to others. "

"My mom moved into Bedrock Care Williamsport South Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. There are a couple of minor concerns, but they are working through them. The facility is nice, clean, and well-run. The staff is very friendly and very helpful, and that goes from the administration folks all the way to the people that come in to take my mom to the bathroom."
