Loyalsock Creek Rehabilitation and Nursing Center

The dementia unit of Loyalsock Creek was awfully small. There wasn't enough room in the common area for the people. It was very crowded. We didn't really get to go in a room, but from what I could see, they seemed large enough. It was a very old place, and they were going through renovations, but I just wasn't pleased with the whole dementia area. I didn't think it was well supervised. I didn't like the way they had it set up for residents to eat their meals. It was more like a cafeteria rather than a dining room. The place my mother is now is more of a dining room. My sister and I did not like the setup at all. The staff was very upbeat and very friendly.
