"The staff at Longleaf Neuro-medical Treatment Center were attentive to the residents. The residents got very good care. It was an older place but very well-kept and clean. I thought a little modernization would be one thing but that would take some time. "

"This facility is under new management and I'm happy that there is a new administrator and nursing director. They are both very friendly and smile - that makes a difference. My neighbor has been here for a while and Ive been coming to visit for a long time. I am pleased with the care that she is getting and know that she's in good hands. They seem to always have enough workers and the food looks good. I don't have any concerns about her care and look forward to visits. The staff comes to the room a lot and theres a nice area to go enjoy the outdoors. Theres a child care center next door and its nice to see the children play, its like being at home and not at the hospital. Ive been to other centers in the area and this is by far the best. Its always clean and doesn't smell horrible. "

"I have been in the Facility multiple times. It always smells clean,residents are always neat and clean. Activity dept is always working with residents. Everyone is always pleasant and smiling.The rooms are neat and the building is always clean."

"This is a lovely facility. The passion these guys have to serve your family is phenomenal. The staff is down to earth, they greet you when you walk in, and family members are allow to visit they're relative any time of the hour. The residents that can't take care of themselves are clean thoroughly when needed and fed until satisfied.The facility is clean and the standards is high. I spoke with the head nurse and she stated that she expect nothing less than perfect when caring for her residents. There also social events that the residents go on such as churches, theaters, shopping, and more. Its a lovely home "

"I am the brother of a former patient. He was originally placed in a different SNF after a short stay in the hospital with an infection in his foot. Prodigy rehab Director came and saw him at his previous facility, they immediately connected and he was transferred the next day to start his rehabilitation and nursing care. He was unable to ambulate or even transfer, but by the time he went home he was doing all that and more. Because I live so far away I was unable to be there, but I felt comfortable with the care he was getting. The facility was very clean, everyday they came in his room to clean the bathroom and wipe down switches and handles. Nursing did a wonderful job, with his daily needs. The rehab staff even brought him outside food some days. He and I would recommend this facility 100%. "

"I was very happy with my relative's care at Zebulon rehab. The staff were friendly and helpful. Her needs were attended to almost always within a couple of minutes of ringing her bell. The rooms were small, but clean. The food was well-prepared. There were multiple activities for the residents. The PT staff did a great job helping her regain mobility so she could go home. I would recommend Zebulon rehab for short or long-term care."

"We are now at Barclay House of Tarboro. So far, we're very pleased. We have been here for a little bit, but so far, everything has been very good. Everybody has been so nice, and they seem to know who we are right away. They're taking the time to learn who we are. The staff has been very nice, have been very cooperative, and very helpful. They're doing very well, and our apartment was just all clean before we moved in. The food is very good. I just noticed my husband this morning, and I think I have to put him on a diet already. On Sunday they have brunch. We just had a brunch, and that was delicious. We have eaten in the dining room every night and it's very good. Regarding activities, we have only been to one event, and it was a Christmas Carol sing along and I loved it. We had a good time with that. Given the apartment we have, the value for money is excellent. We're in what they call the penthouse. It's a beautiful apartment, and very spacious. My husband is in a wheelchair, and we chose an apartment that we knew he could maneuver, so this is a bigger apartment. And so far he's been able to get around without having to back up and come around. This apartment has been very good for both of us. I like the space, and he likes the ability to maneuver."

"My 94 year old sister was admitted to Hillside in January after hip surgery. From the moment she became a patient in the nursing facility her care was absolutely incredible. Every staff member was attentive to all her needs and went above and beyond to care for her. The facility is clean bright and well kept. The staff are extremely professional and knowledgeable. Unfortunately my sister pasted away in late March. The kindness expressed to me was was so thoughtful , I received personal phone calls with expressions of their sympthany .
