"The occupational therapy group was GREAT. They ALL seemed to care a GREAT DEAL on your progress for rehab. They DO WORK you a bit hard, but results really came FAST! Everyone super friendly and polite. BEST THERAPY GROUP I've EVER HAD. Would really like to rate group at least 10 stars!"

"Litchford Falls Healthcare was the cleanest when we looked all over Raleigh for our mother. It was also well-lit. We were pleased with the care. We didn't like that she suffered, but we couldn't do anything about that. All they could do was really be good to her; they bathed her to keep her clean and comfortable and gave her medications the doctor ordered. The nurses, especially the CNAs, were very helpful and kind to her. She loved them and they loved her, especially a young man who bathed her and took care of her. He would come and bring his little son to meet her. They had entertainment. In the last 3 months, they had like a high school prom with a live band. They brought people to do the ladies' makeup and find dresses for them. They brought young men in from the nearby college to dance with people. They would have Christmas and Thanksgiving dinner with families. The activity director was the best I've ever seen, since I used to work in nursing homes as a teacher. He was so great. He would come in his tux and bow or sometimes in a body costume for entertainment. It was just wonderful. It was hard for her to share a tiny room, and she (not because of that) became more and more disabled and ill. They called me when my mother was about to die. She could no longer get her breath; she was crying and everything. They called me to come immediately. The nurse who had taken care of her was praying really loud, and we all were crying because of my mother. If you have to be in Medicaid care, I think this is as good as you can get. They were excellent. They did the best they could for her. "

"I was at Glenaire for rehab for two weeks. I was greeted when I came in there and the people were very cordial. I stayed in a private room and I had my meals on site. It was a cafeteria type, but it was served to us at the table. The beauty of the place was that I had all other people to talk to and it was the same people. So, I developed a friendship with them, and then medicine was given to me at the appropriate times by the staff. Everything was very clean. No smells and it was just a very pleasant two weeks that I spent there. I had physical therapists who came in and occupational therapists that provided services and I got back on my feet. I was able to safely go home. They also provide medical assistance. They would come in and do your blood pressure and that type of thing. There was somebody looking after you. The cafeteria staff was very pleasant and would get your selections for the next meal and serve it to you. The food was very good. There was an outside courtyard that you could go to, but because you were unstable in your walking and so forth, they made sure that you stayed under supervision. There were just a few activities. Medicaid paid for my stay there, but the value was good."

"My husband had to go to rehab after being in the hospital for just under a month. He was very deconditioned from recovering from his surgery and he had pre-existing mobility issues. From the beginning, I was greeted with kindness and attention from Liz, who was always a friendly face and there for a kind word to get us through this difficult time. Day one the team (included PT, SW, financial, ect.) met with us and came up with a plan for rehab and going home. The nurses were exceptional especially Kimla and Cheryl Lin. (Sorry if I spelled their names wrong) My husband adored them especially with his complex wound issues. The physical and occupational therapist were amazing and customized a regimen that met my husband where he was physically. I just want to give a special shot out to Megan and Robert with PT/OT. You guys rock! If you are looking for equipment (like a special bed, ask for Tiffany. She was on top of it once she knew he needed one. The DON ( knew me by name and was instrumental in fixing things when issues came up. A special thanks to his nurse aid who was whiling to go the extra mile. Thank you Priscilla! I also want the thank Efran (the facility director) he took this time to know my name and met with my husband personally to make sure he had everything he needed and he help us along with Kimla (his special nurse) get safely into our car on day of discharge. We are not anyone special but we were treated like VIP’s. "

"The place is very lovely and the staff is so wonderful to my 72 year old Mom. My Mom had said that, the food wasn't all that great but the people are very caring. "

"I am staying in The Templeton of Cary's independent living, and I'm very happy here. Everyone, including the residents, is so kind, caring, and very friendly. It's just a happy place to be. If you get lonely or down and out, you just leave your apartment and go find something to do. There's always something to do here, which is a great thing. Having the main dining room and everybody meeting in there helps, too. You have good meals, camaraderie, and friendliness. It's just a great place and I made the right choice, there is no doubt about it. The staff is top-notch. They're all just as friendly as the residents are. I think it makes sense because if the residents are happy, that must be because of the people in charge. They all know you by name, and call you by your first name. They're all wonderful. They're all very caring, and ready to help no matter what, even with something trivial. I haven't found one person here who isn't like that, so that's a good thing. I think the food could use some work. I like my food hot and it's never hot. Sometimes warm, but never hot. I know that's hard with a big crowd but that's how I want it. Everything is always spanking clean including the public restrooms all around the area. They're always spotless no matter what time of day or night you go."

"My 102 year old mother in law was a patient for several prior to her passing away. The care was excellent. The staff was very attentive. The accommodations were very pleasant. It was a very positive experience."

"My mom is at Wellington Rehab. She has been there for three months. However, they don't do well at all with communication about bills or the family member. They suck. My mom went there from an ALF to this facility because she needs more assistance. Back in December, she was still on her insurance. In going there when she was very sick, I told them if she was off of her insurance to let me know because I have to start to self-pay, but they had not been billing me, and I had not heard anything from them since December. I had to pay four months of a huge amount of money because they had not billed me, and I thought that was just crazy as hell. But now they got me on radar, and I guess everything is going smoothly. One thing I will give them as long as I keep my mom there, the nursing staff and the care they give her is excellent. The nursing care for my mom is the most important thing. If I can pass the headache with the administration, they I'll have the headache, but if it’s the other way around, I will take her out of there. The most important thing is the care for your loved one. Their laundry department -- as far as clothes washing -- sucks because they lost 100% of my mom's clothes the first time they washed them, so I went in and picked up all my mom's stuff, and I have been washing them ever since. They have the worst laundry department. "

"My mother was at Rex Rehab for three weeks. They're very impressive. Personnel there was great with my mother. My mother speaks Spanish and she was happy that there were a few people there who spoke Spanish, so that made her feel more comfortable. Physical therapy worked with her and everything was great. The location was really nice, too. The staff were very helpful and attentive and communicated well. The facility was spacious, clean, well maintained, looked very new, and all the nurses and everyone who treated my mother seemed to be very genuine, understanding, and very friendly. "

"Husband stayed approximately two weeks following a hospital stay. The goal was to get him stronger before returning home. He received physical therapy every day from a caring staff. Nurses & Assistants were attentive. The rooms are spacious & extremely clean. The meals are excellent. The location was perfect for us. We are appreciative for the care given him & he has returned home more mentally & physical fit. Thanks to the entire staff!"

"I went to Windsor Point. They seemed very organized. They had a lot of activities. It was very clean. The room was typical. We looked at a two-bedroom with two bathrooms, a living room, a dining room, and a kitchen. They had a stove in each one of them. A lot of the apartments don't have stoves, but they do. The staff who toured us was very outgoing. I think she related very well to my mother-in-law, who was very difficult, so she did a good job of that. They had outdoor space, and they had an indoor pool, which was nice. Even with the buy-in there, the rent there is cheaper than most others."
