My mother received great care, Universal has caring employees and you can tell that the staff really care about the patients there. They have an excellent rehab department. "My father ended up at Litchford Falls Healthcare & Rehab. It is very clean and very organized. The rooms appear to be in very good shape. The care has been good. The staff is very willing to communicate with you. They were very helpful in getting him moved over there. I've been very pleased with it. It's just been a relief to get him there and feel like he's being well taken care of. The rooms are nice. They're not very big, but they are very clean and the bathrooms are nice. They look like a bathroom in a house, so it's nice. He has a shared room. I've been there to feed him, and it looked and smelled really good. What little he ate, he seemed to enjoy it. The dining area was nice, clean, and big. They have activities. The day after he was placed, the activities coordinator called me to see what they thought he might be able to do and what we would like to get him involved in, but he's bedridden. They can't even get him up to take him to the bathroom, so he isn't really able to be involved in that, but they were telling me that they had different offerings and asked if I would like for him to participate in any of them or could they go by and evaluate him to see if he could participate and I told them that was fine. I just didn't think he'd be able to. Upkeep is well above average. They have a rehab room with machinery and stuff in it. I happened to see that going down the hall. The residents were nice and they all seemed very comfortable there. The ones that could tell me how they felt about it liked it. His roommate has been there about two or three years, and he says he's always been very happy there, so that made me feel better. Value for money was excellent. It was much more reasonable than the place he was in before and the facility is in much better shape. I've been very pleased and I'm very comfortable that he's there."

"My mom is at Wellington Rehab. She has been there for three months. However, they don't do well at all with communication about bills or the family member. They suck. My mom went there from an ALF to this facility because she needs more assistance. Back in December, she was still on her insurance. In going there when she was very sick, I told them if she was off of her insurance to let me know because I have to start to self-pay, but they had not been billing me, and I had not heard anything from them since December. I had to pay four months of a huge amount of money because they had not billed me, and I thought that was just crazy as hell. But now they got me on radar, and I guess everything is going smoothly. One thing I will give them as long as I keep my mom there, the nursing staff and the care they give her is excellent. The nursing care for my mom is the most important thing. If I can pass the headache with the administration, they I'll have the headache, but if it’s the other way around, I will take her out of there. The most important thing is the care for your loved one. Their laundry department -- as far as clothes washing -- sucks because they lost 100% of my mom's clothes the first time they washed them, so I went in and picked up all my mom's stuff, and I have been washing them ever since. They have the worst laundry department. "

"Do not send your loved ones to this place it was horrible I was there for 2 weeks and felt more like I was in a a rehab the nurses were rude the staff was rude the food was awful and you weren't treated with any kind of respect at all the physical therapy person that was supposed to be given to physical therapy acute told me I grant you I have one leg and I was she told me I will she saw me walking down the hall with a walker and on the parallel bars I informed her that was not me and she said yes it was and when I asked to see my records she said she didn't have to show them to me and she proceeded to want to know why I was even there so do not send your loved ones there in the first two nights I was there they left me in my own feces for three and a half hours if it hadn't been for my daughter call it up there I'd probably lay there all day and night so don't send nobody you care about at this"

"I really enjoyed visiting this facility. The landscaping is great. They have multiple sitting areas outside for the residents. The residents were so nice and lovable. I spoke to several resident there while visiting and was told repeatedly that they are comfortable and enjoy living in a place were the staff is respectful and friendly. I also seen several other resident's family members visiting as well. I over heard a conversation that a nurse was having with a family about they're father. Sounds like dad is improving rapidly. Putting a family member in a adult-care residence is never easy, but if if came down to it. Make sure you think threw and make the best decision. This would be a good place "

"My brother was at Tower Nursing and Rehab Center. I think it was a very good nursing home. They didn't take the privileges away from their patients. The patients had much freedom as they can. They have a nice porch in the summertime where the patients can go out and sit. They have a nice TV room. The patients can go and watch TV. They had the same freedom as if they were in their home, which was good. Also they were always supervised. The patients enjoyed this facility because they were getting a fresh breeze. "

"My Father lives at this facility. My family and I are very satisfied of the way the staff is treating my Father. I visit Dad several times a week. I really appreciate the way I'm informed If anything happen such as a falling incident. The staff treats my dad like family. They keep his clothes washed and his hygiene's up to par. I truly believe its safe to say that we chose the right home for him. "

"I had the opportunity to tour The Oaks at Whitaker Glen. I was very impressed with the cleanliness and the order apparent right upon my arrival. A lot of assisted living facilities have a cold sterile feel to them, but I didn't feel that way at all! The staff was very welcoming and open. They answered all of my questions and even gave some additional insight about various things that I would have never thought to question. I noticed some students working with the residents and I was put at ease that not only were the students courteous and conscientious in their work, but the nursing staff was close by to offer assistance while allowing them to maintain their independence.Additionally, I was quite pleased with the availability of single and double rooms and the sizes of each. The move to assisted living isn't an easy decision for anyone, but I felt confident and assured in the ability of the staff at The Oaks. "

"The staff at Brantwood Nh & Retirement Center was very professional, very friendly, very knowledgeable, and looked after the residents. My mother's room was clean; they maintained it daily. The food they served was good; she liked it a lot. The therapy was thorough, and they did it regularly."

"My husband went for rehab at Hillcrest Raleigh at Crabtree Valley. They were super good with the rehab. They gave him PT, OT, and speech therapy every day, and he did get stronger. So, I had great faith in them. They were really good. I was there quite often and when I would ask them to help with something, they would be right there to help us with things. The staff was very nice and very attentive, but I didn't like their in-house doctor. They didn't have a shortage of staff, which was nice. My husband didn't care for the healthy food that they served. They served Brussels sprouts and things that he didn't care for. There were varied menus, so the menus were good. The problem was when it reached your room, and that's the biggest issue he had. Overall, everything seemed to be quite good."
