"This is a lovely facility. The passion these guys have to serve your family is phenomenal. The staff is down to earth, they greet you when you walk in, and family members are allow to visit they're relative any time of the hour. The residents that can't take care of themselves are clean thoroughly when needed and fed until satisfied.The facility is clean and the standards is high. I spoke with the head nurse and she stated that she expect nothing less than perfect when caring for her residents. There also social events that the residents go on such as churches, theaters, shopping, and more. Its a lovely home "

"Greenfield Place We toured this facility a couple years ago looking for a rehab place for my grandfather. It was a rather large place, larger than most we toured. It had well over 100 beds. Lots of nursing assistants on the halls and the patients seemed to be well tended to., however we only saw one actual nurse on the floor and she seemed to be very overwhelmed. The Physical therapy/ rehab department was very different. Lots of staff members including actual physical therapists, therapy aides and speech therapists. The admissions lady was very friendly and knowledgeable, she herself was a nurse and said she sometimes worked on the floor as an RN. We met the administrator who had both of her parents in the facility. She was sitting in the cafeteria with them, feeding them lunch. I was really impressed that she would place her parents in the care of her staff. There were two dining rooms, a rec room, two nice courtyards and the retirement wing had a nice little porch for residents to sit on . All of the regular rooms has double beds so residents didn't seem to have that much privacy. I think the rehab wing had single rooms. Overall, pretty clean and everyone seemed friendly. "

"My mother was a resident for rehab. I was completely happy, particularly with the care and attention from the staff. Staff members went out of their way to meet her needs. The physical therapy was professional and effective. My mother enjoyed her meals. There are daily activities for residents, parties on holidays, and regular visits from many church groups. We came to this facility after getting completely unsatisfactory service from another facility in our community, and I'm so grateful that we did. I would recommend Universal to anyone."

"My mother has just become a resident here. We are getting welcomed and going thru the transition of understanding with them how they help the residents and families. Each of the areas that will be helping with my mother has talked with us. They are starting to help meet her needs and understand about her. I am praying for my mother as I learn with her and as they work with us."

"Located pretty far west of Phoenix, the Mondell House is a pretty to look at facility. Reminds me of one of those Victorian houses you might see in Georgia. Very pleasing to the eye, with great long lawns of grass, trees, a huge entry way with pillars and small steps up onto a patio. Actually, very pretty. When my mother and I visited, we were most impressed by the activity. Residents everywhere and many appeared comfortable, at home so to speak and in an environment they enjoyed. One tiny little downfall for me, in fact I hate even saying this because this did seem like a well staffed facility, but there is a full time registered nurse on staff, but what about when her shift ends? We were told that there is 24 hour access to a nurse, which made me think, we (or should I say she?) would have to make phone calls for assistance. The facility does offer incentives as far as baseball Spring training nearby, Bingo (yet in a nearby location), and credit if you refer a friend (as long as the friend stays for at least a month). A truly beautiful home with courtyards and studio apartments, one bedroom apartments. It seemed to me, personally, although I am only 41 years young, the residents seemed equal to my abilities. Able to care for themselves, just in need of some very basic assistance. My impression of this place was good. I liked their amenities. I liked how they cared for the home itself and its surroundings. I just wanted more for my mom, more access to help in the event more help was required. "

"I toured Cypress Glen Retirement Community. The people who lived there were treated like pure gold. Every employee was kind, interested, helpful, and amazing. The facility itself is beautiful. It's beautifully kept and clean. Anything the resident wants, the resident gets. They serve you with white tablecloths, and you can have anything. If you don't like what you have, you can get something else. The food was delicious."

"The first thing i notice about this facility is that is has a big front yard with great lawn maintenance. The building is huge. As i walked in i was greeted by the staff and residents and made conversation with one of the nurses that was on break. One thing i like about this place is after a patient eats, his or her tray is removed from his or her room within 5 minutes or less. The staff is very kind and concern of every needs of the residents. I asked a elderly woman that lived here for the pass 5 years "How do you like living here? Was it a good decision?" She said " Honey i love it here. They treat me with the up most respect, the food is great, my friends love it here, and i'm comfortable. "

"This facility appears to be staffed with friendly, caring providers. In touring the facility I found it to be clean and well kept. My experience is new, however, I will be returning to this site to give updates as my contact continues. I am looking forward to excellent care for my loved one. My reasoning for 4 stars is because, there are no private accommodations as mentioned in the description. All rooms are shared. My overall review will be based on quality of care as the stay for my loved one continues. Stay tuned, that fifth star is sure to come. "

"I've visit this facility numerous of times. The staff is loaded with nurses with a total of 80 residents and 90 beds. It is a fast paced environment and the residents are checked on constantly. The facility is located in the same lot as the hospital. The place is clean and the residents are well taken care of. I really like how the nurses are always in and out of each room. It lets me know that if a resident is sick and in need for medication assistants, a nurse would be in shortly. I spoke to an elderly man that lives there and ask him " How often when you need help do you have to press the help button on the side of your bed?" the resident replied " hardly any, they're in my room so much, they minus well sleep with me. He laughed... "

"I am a patient recently admitted to the Brian Center in Wilson, NC for rehab from a Ankle Fracture. While here at the Brian Center, I have experience the excellent care being provided by their Physical Therapy and Occupation Therapy Departments. I have learned a lot about my care from the staff. Even though most of the staff is busy, They take their time to explained and teach the proper way to better my health. I have found that within these halls merge the evidence of great care and pride within the individuals that work here. The upper levels of Management should adhere to the same rules of conduct as the staff thus providing the best atmosphere to generate a working relationship. Overall, I have been very please with my care and treatment here at the Brian Center in Wilson, NC and would recommend this rehab facility to anyone seeking help. Thanks Again "

"Avante was very good, attentive and very cooperative. They went out of their way to make my husband welcome for the week that he was there. He felt it was a good place. The food was good. I would take him there again. "

"Upon arriving I noticed that the doors were locked with a security system and you either had to know a code to enter or you had to ring a bell for service. I thought this was great as sometimes seniors can be the victims of predators. I also thought this was good because some patients may have the tendency to wander. Once I entered the building I noticed how clean it was. The staff were all cheerful and seemed happy, polite, and friendly. The residents were lining the hall waiting for lunch. Some residents, my grandmother included were playing a game of Bible Bingo for prizes of candy and lolipops. My grandmother seemed very happy about her winnings. Overall I think my grandmother is happy there. She is able to socialize and live a happy life while still receiving the care and attention she needs. "
