"They have 2 units for patients with dementia. One is for those who wander and is a locked unit. The other is for those who can no longer walk. The staff is exceptionally caring and form relationships with each patient. No place is perfect, but I would feel very safe placing a loved one there. I work for a hospice and have visited many patients there on a weekly basis. "

"Homewood Health Campus was nice, but we didn't go with them because the rooms were just basically a hospital room instead of an apartment. The bathrooms had no vanity or storage for them to put makeup on or something, and the bedroom is not separate from the living space. But they have very nice facilities, and the place looked very nice. They showed us all the different activities going on. They sent us home with food. The lady who took us on the tour was very helpful."

"They kind of pigeon holed my mother. The Stratford would not show us their independent part of their facility. They insisted that because she had a stroke, she would be in an assisted living only. The woman was very nice, but she was a bit pretentious because she kept telling me what my mother would like. They only had one apartment choice. The facility itself was beautiful and immaculate. We didn't meet any of the staff. We walked out of it, and my husband said that there is no way. The woman did follow up with a visit. From a location standpoint, it was in the middle of a very busy neighborhood. From where I live, it would be too far. She didn't show us any menu, but she told us that it was restaurant quality. The dining room is lovely. There is an invisible wall between the independent living people and the assisted living. They don't intermix at all. I felt like we walked into another planet because it didn't really seem to be very friendly. "

"I had a great stay at clinton house facilities. The rooms have plenty of storage and space for all of your needs. The staff is excellent and very courteous and caring at all aspects of the job. There are plenty of activities to do to keep you busy, baking and bingo are two of the house favorites. They allow you to bring whatever amenities you want and the rooms include a tv with cable and very clean beds. I would recommend this facility to anyone in need, the staff, nurses, and all faculty are exceptional. Very thorough therapists I had a great stay and was taken care of at the top level. "

"I'm at Brownsburg Health Care Center. They don't offer assisted living. It's a rehab, and then it's long-term care and memory care. They have things that could improve, but there are a lot of really good things going on here. They have very caring nurses and some excellent aides. The good aides are the ones that have been here longer or are a little older, not the young girls. They have great activity programs, too. One of the best things I appreciate is that they would work with you on your diet. I'm on the Mounjaro shot, and I get to order what I need to eat for each meal. They also come down once in a while just to check and make sure everything is okay. They have some very caring cooks, and the food, in my opinion, is very, very good. Maybe some people don't like it, but they do a good job. Regarding outdoor spaces, I'm in their outdoor space right now. They have three different places, too. They go out of their way with regard to activities. Every holiday, we have a party. The one thing I really, really like about it here is that they have entertainers coming in from different places. Usually, once every two weeks, we have music, which could be a choir, and a lot of it is individual singers who are retired, and that is just a lot of fun. We also do bingo and church activities. There are a lot of things that way. However, the value for money is not good. When I came, their rates went up considerably because the new company did that. Many people moved out, especially private care people, because it was too expensive. I'm not giving it a very good rating on that."

"Hoosier Village had a brand new facility built in the last year. They had a lot of different apartment styles to choose from. They had a swimming pool built in the last couple of years. They had a workout facility and a lot of trainers. "

"I have lived in a garden home at Robin Run Village for eight years and highly recommend it. Our community feels like a family; residents are friendly, caring and supportive of one another. Most stay active and keep up on current events. There are many activities to pick and choose from. There is a nice walking trail circling the campus, even an authentic log cabin situated in a beautiful woods. Staff make us feel like they really care about us and are pleased to serve us. I suggest that seniors considering a retirement community make the move sooner rather than later to make friends and adjust to senior living."

"Our family had the wonderful opportunity to get to know the staff here at Wesley Manor. I don't know what kind of Human Resources Interviewing Process you have however, I will say this: Everyone from Janitorial to the Nursing Staff to the Clerical dept. are the utmost caring, kind and friendly staff I have ever encountered ( I have a Certified Therapy Dog and I visit several facilities... I will say there is none comparable to Wesley Manor). You became our family during the last weeks of our parents lives. You made their transition as comfortable as possible. "Run by the Little Sisters of the Poor, St Augustine has many dedicated people on call to take care of the residents. Offering assisted living as well as full time care located in a beautiful setting it is a great place for my Grandmother to stay. The nuns are very friendly and even remember my name when I come back to visit. My Grandmother is 95 and she lives in the assisted living section of the building, she can leave to go shopping or visit family, or stay in and visit the amazing chapel with great stained glass and a second story balcony. On several visits I have stayed to eat dinner with Grandma and although the food was a little mushier than I'm used to, it was tasty. I would be happy to recommend St Augustine to anyone looking for somewhere comfortable for their loved one to stay. "

"I had a series of blood clots that settled in my lungs. I was treated at the hospital and then discharged into Rehab to strengthen my breathing ability (short-term rehab). I had previously broken my hip a year before in a fall and had to endure rehab before. I was not exactly excited at the prospect, as my previous experience was not that great. Surprisingly, Wellbrooke of Westfield was a breath of fresh air! It's a small-ish facility, which makes it feel more like a familial environment. All the nurses and techs were extremely responsive and helpful. The Administration staff was helpful with any questions/problems I might have run into. Physical/Occupational therapy staff, environment, and equipment were top-notch! There was always a plan - and I knew what it was, for the most part. If my therapist was busy finishing up with someone else, I was able to start on my weight/warm-up exercises by myself while I waited because I knew what the plan was. The "in-depth" items may change each day, or every few days to keep things moving along, but the overall plan was always the same. There was NEVER a time when it seemed we were "winging it." The facility was always clean, smelled fresh, and had wonderful common areas. Fireplaces, game rooms, TV rooms, reading nooks, etc. It was nice to spend time in the common area with family/friends who came to visit and warm by the fire. My cousin commented upon her first visit, "I thought I had walked into a ski resort! It's beautiful!" It is. Should I (God-forbid) ever need to rehab again - THIS will be the place! 5-Stars."

"I've been to Marquette a couple of times, and my parents visited as well. They let us see a couple of apartments. They did not let us into the common areas because of COVID though. It's a huge facility, and it had everything you could possibly need. I only met with the office staff so far. We had lunch in one of their dining rooms, and I think we looked at three different floor plans. They had an indoor pool and some other areas where tenants could go. They couldn't show us those because of COVID and we couldn't mix with the residents there. The building was in very good shape."
