My husband was at Trinity Village. The grounds were pretty. There needs to be more maintenance, especially in the private rooms such as, just painting and cleaning and so forth. The staff was really good. The services he was presented were well done, but he was not able to take part in activities other than physical therapy. They have an outside area and they have a crafts room. He was only there for three weeks. He was in an area for receiving people and acclimating them to the facility. From what I saw, the food was very well done. I noticed one day when I was there for lunch, that they were having fried chicken, and the staff was removing the outer coating on the chicken for the residents who could not eat the hard crispy chicken.

I visited a friend of ours at Trinity Village in Hickory. She's in their assisted living. The place was very nice. It's clean. It's decorated very pretty, and there's no bad smell. All the time, I see on Facebook that they do activities with their people. It's just overall a good place, and the staff was great. They do all kinds of arts and crafts and have all kinds of functions going on for the residents.

The Lutheran Home is a great place to work. The CNA's really care about the residents and there care. They do pay more on night shift then day.If you are in it to help and care for the people then it's were you would won't to be.It's also a clean place and they keep it well supplied for everyone's needs. They have three levels of care there so witch ever you are best at you can choose from.
