I went to Cherry Ridge. It was a very nice community. It was very clean and well-kept. They had great facilities. We visited the cafeteria or dining hall. They had a wide variety of independent living floor plans, which was nice. The rooms were very clean. Excellent. The staff was very friendly, very helpful, and very informative. They had a nice living room, but they did not have a fitness room. They said that was going to be developed, but got canceled because of COVID. But the facilities that we saw were very nice.

We went to Cherry Ridge. We ate there about three years ago and the food was good. We were visiting a patient there. So I didn't try the food this time, but the facility was very nice, and very well kept up. We were looking at the cottages there and when somebody moved out, they were completely upgrading all of the carpets and painting. It looked like they were brand-new appliances. The only thing I would have to say about that place is it is huge. There must be 50 or 75 apartments plus the assisted living capabilities. I mean, it's very large. And the other good thing about it is that they're tied in with St. Anne's. As time went on and the needs increased for us they would be able to move you into more assisted living needs. So that was very good. We only met Laura, and she was very, very good. She was very accommodating and went through costs with us, facilities, and history. So, I was very pleased with that.

I've sent an application to Cherry Ridge. I've toured it. It's close to me and it has everything as far as assisted living, enhanced assisted living, nursing home, and hospice. It has everything right there. The person who gave me the tour was very good. The rooms were very well kept and very nice. I'm not sure what kind of room my parents are going to have yet. The dining area was nice. The place is very clean and very nice. For independent living, they have a lot of different things. They have games and all kinds of activities, but I'm not sure about assisted living. I have to meet up with somebody to talk about that. The surroundings are very neat, very nice, and organized. I think it's very good. It's a very nice place.

I went to Cherry Ridge. It was wonderful and very pleasant. They have activities like playing cards. They take care of everything. The staff was very pleasant, accommodating, and very helpful. I looked at bungalows. It's a large apartment.

We got my cousin into independent living at Cherry Ridge in Webster. It's an ideal situation because he could just walk across the way and go visit his wife who is in skilled nursing in the same facility; he could visit every day. One thing that we liked was the ability he would have to visit her. They're both located on the same site and within walking distance, so he can go visit her as often as he likes. He's in independent living, so he has an apartment, and it is beautiful. It's a three-room apartment with a galley kitchen. It has a little eating area, a full living room, a big bedroom, an enormous bathroom, and a washer and dryer. They come in and clean every couple of weeks but he vacuums it every day. The way it's all laid out is nice. The skilled nursing care is not large. I think they only have seventy people in skilled nursing care, so they really get a lot of personalized care. The staff is great; they're very on top of things. Even though he's in independent care, there's a doctor right there on site, so we transferred all his medical care to the doctor. There's a dentist, too, so it's all very convenient. The food is excellent. If he doesn't want to go to the dining room, he goes downstairs for lunch and brings it back up to his apartment. Sometimes he sits down there in the dining room, though. They bring the dinner right to their door. The menu selections are great and they're flexible. I know he has not taken advantage of the activities, but I see that they have groups that hike around, like walking groups, and they have exercise classes too. They have a lot of groups there, like card groups and hiking groups. I think they even take people to different functions throughout the area. It's very varied but if you don't want to do them, nobody's going to force you. I think their cost is very reasonable too.

Cherry Ridge was very nice. They've redone the whole place. I was there years ago, but it's very, very nice looking. They did all the floors and walls. It's very attractive. However, we just got the feeling when we were in there that this isn't the place. The staff seemed knowledgeable, but we got the feeling we were being rushed a little. She acted like she was late for something, so we didn't like that. They've redone the whole place. It looks beautiful, and the setting is nice. The rooms also look good. The outdoor space is very attractive. There is room for people to sit out if they want to be outside. It is also set away from the road, so there's no traffic that you're looking at or anything like that.

We visited St. Ann's Community at Cherry Ridge for my dad. Everything was good. It was just a little bit too expensive, and the fact that they required a buy-in is not what we're looking for right now. The apartment looked nice and clean. We looked at the villas primarily, and, again, they were expensive, but they were nice. For somebody that is looking for the spectrum of care, I think it would be a very good option. It is on the east side of town, so if you live on the east side, it is convenient, but if you live on the west side, not so much.

We have a friend over at Cherry Ridge. We have eaten there. As a matter of fact, she is still living there. She started out independent living in one of the cottages and now she is in assisted living. She still seems to be very satisfied. We really didn't have any close contact with any employees other than in the restaurant. My friend is really satisfied. She is not easily satisfied, so it must be pretty good. The rooms are very nice. It's one of the newer facilities. It has been there for over 10 years now, but still compared to some of the facilities that are around town, it's relatively new. The dining area is very nice. The place might be a little more formal than some of the facilities. In some cases, they dress for dinner and that kind of thing. The facility is very clean and well kept. Inside is very nice, but outside, it's not anything outstanding.

Well I can see from previous reviews that this facility is highly rated. I have encountered a problem that was not previously mentioned. Due to the virus & the lock down of the facility we haven't been able to visit since March. Today we are scheduled for a visit, however my brother was informed by a neighbor who has a relative at this facility that all visits had been cancelled. Upon attempting to verify with the Cherry Ridge staff, a call to the concierge desk was made, the person that was on duty had no information, & transferred me to someone in the nursing dept. Once again the question was asked and it was like attempting to get water out of a rock. The lack of information is uncalled for, all that was needed simple yes & no. I made a call to the CEO & greeted by his or her adm. assistant, & requested a call back this was at 8:24 am it is now almost 10:00 am. If you are looking for a professional community care I suggest you look somewhere else.

My mother is in enhanced assisted living at St. Ann's Community at Cherry Ridge. They're really good. The staff sincerely does their job and cares. It's a pretty nice, new, and well maintained facility. She's been at a concert, and they have a lot of things going on all the time. The residents are required to attend three meals a day so that they can get out and socialize. The food has been fantastic. Everything seems to work. There's nothing wrong with the place at all. There's a bulletin board in the common area with all sorts of announcements and different things going on. It's very well priced for what they do.

The Cherry RIdge Mktg Rep was outstanding - she answered my zillion questions promptly and politely and was always available for mtgs and tours until we decided on an independent apt for my aunt and uncle. The apt is the most spacious we looked at in the area, has a washer & dryer in the unit (vs sharing), does not include meals and housekeeping in the rent - you can include if you'd like. The apt building has just been updated - fresh paint, carpet, lighting, appliances, etc. The amenities and activities are terrific. The staff have all been very welcoming, helpful and friendly. All the residents we've met have only wonderful, positive comments about living there. I believe we made the right choice!

My mom is a resident of Cherry Ridge at St. Ann's and she's doing really well. It's a very nice place and well planned-out. The nurses and aides are very pleasant and they watch out for her. Where they are is a small area so my mom can only go in a circle. The bedrooms are all in a circle so she doesn't have to take any elevators and it's only on one floor. That's nice because her memory isn't very good. The dining area has long tables and they seat about six to eight to a table. The food can be a little fancy, and if she doesn't like it, she doesn't know that she can ask for something else. So if she leaves her plate they'll make her something special they know she'll like. She's treated very well, the staff is really good. They have painting, coloring, and she was doing a puzzle the other day. My mother's apartment when she was still in assisted living was huge. It had a kitchenette, living room, a big bedroom, and a big bathroom. In the memory center, she just has one room with a bathroom, but there's still enough space.

After visitng St. Ann's Community, I decided to tour Cherry Ridge to see if that was also a good fit for my grandmother. WOW! This place is gorgeous. It's very new, clean, and is well-maintained. The staff are super friendly, and the residents are always social and hanging out!

Cherry Ridge takes you from assisted living all the way through to the end in different facilities and different locations. You can have a high-end, little bungalow with a garage, or if you need more help, you can go to assisted living. If it's more intense care you need, you can even go into full nursing care there. The food was good, and they had lots of activities that included music. They were nice but had so much red tape. The staff was very helpful but a little snooty.

The Cherry Ridge is a nice community. Wonderful staff; they were very involved with the residents. It’s a smaller community well-suited to caring for people with memory or dementia related issues. The food was very good. They had a very good activity schedule. Much more on their schedule than I’ve seen in other places; which was nice. The first word that came to my mind was warm; very warm, and friendly place.

My first visit with Cherry Ridge was very positive. The staff was very professional and very engaging. They did a lot of listening to make sure that their facility was going to be able to meet my mother's needs because if they could not meet my mother's needs, then that wouldn't be the right place. We visited several facilities, I went through a selection process, and that was the one that I selected. The rooms were clean and spacious. The facilities were very new. They had a lot of expertise in their staff. They had a great menu. They had a lot to offer their residents in terms of activities. They gave them transportation. They were also there in terms of their faith. It was actually a beautiful place. If I was eligible, I would not mind living there myself.

I have been a volunteer at Cherry Ridge for about 8 years or so. Since the beginning of that time, I was quite impressed with the personal care that the residents received. They are treated with respect and honor and the facility is very warm and welcoming. The past few years I have volunteered almost exclusively in Rainer Grove, which is for residents who need special Memory Care help. They are encouraged to be a part of many possible activities, from birthday parties, games, and singing times, to excursions into the community, depending on the desires and abilities of the residents. Even if a resident doesn't want to participate in some activity, they are treated with loving care. I have been extremely impressed with Cherry Ridge! I want to live there myself!!

Cherry Ridge seemed good. The apartment in the assisted living, which we needed though, was only one-bedroom. It was small and we needed more than that. They had another part of the complex that was more roomy, but it was not assisted living. The staff was very pleasant, solicitous and very well informed. The dining room looked very spacious and it seemed to be quite pleasant.

Cherry Ridge is very good. They’ve got cottages, and they have a building that depends on the level of care. Cherry Ridge is like a little village for people of a certain age group and with certain needs. It’s a community within a community. They go on field trips, they take bus rides, and they’ve got Bingo, shuffle boards, woodworking, and crafts. They have exercise programs.

Despite outward appearances of beautiful mission archiecture, this community is severely undercapitalized with a small number of assisted living and nursing care rooms in comparison to the large number of cottages and apartments for independent living. Demolition of a building on Irondequoit campus filled both the rooms and waiting lists with folks from Irondequoit campus instead of Webster campus. Folks in apartments and cottages must wait a very long time for care level needed or move elsewhere outside the community. Six year residents of community cannot get next level of care in Webster. Continuum of care is not really available at this modern attractive canpus as marketing materials suggest. Continuum of care is available at aging facility in Irondequoit.
