I like GrandeVille Senior Living Community. Amongst the ones I've been to, it's the best one. The staff take care of their people there. The food is not the greatest, but it's OK. They could do a lot better. It's institution food. The building is very clean. They have activities. My friend is a loner, so she doesn't participate, but it's available to her. They have a library and several rooms where they can watch TV and do activities like bingo. Personal care is what's important. My friend has a small room, but she doesn't need a big room because she is outside, and she just goes there to sleep, that's all, and they keep in touch with the family when something happens. Like if my friend falls they call me right away and let me know what they're going to be doing, and they're helping her, and that means a lot.

i can't say enough for the entire Staff for the care my sister received at this Facility. The care and kindness shown to her was so wonderful for the approximate 2 yrs she was there. Also the cleanliness and special things everyone did for her was beyond their job description I'm sure. The Staff would come into her room and try to talk to her or take her outside to their garden area. Patience was something they all have and you need that with a person with dementia. At times it was difficult for me to talk to her and one of the staff would interject and suddenly thing improved. I can't think of a better place than Grande Ville for my sister in her final years. All I can say is God Bless them all. Thank you

We viewed GrandeVille Senior Living Community. They took us all around, and they showed us the rooms, which were very nice. They also showed us the community center where they can all get together. The people that I met were very nice and very helpful. They answered our questions. The rooms are just a single room. You could bring in your own TV and whatever you wanted to bring in, but there wasn't anything in the room that they provided. That would be done in the community center. They have outdoor spaces. They have activities down there. They would play cards, do arts and crafts, and they play games.

We checked out GrandeVille Senior Living Community. We liked it there, but mom just isn't ready for that yet. It was assisted living, but they also have enhanced care, which provides one- and two-person assist, which was what we were specifically looking for. They had two choices of rooms, and I like that. Of course, the bigger room is more expensive. The room was nice. Each one had their bathroom and their walk-in shower with just a tiny lip on it and that was nice. They had beautiful facilities. The dining room was light, airy, and clean. I loved the dining room. They had a library and a chapel. It was just a beautiful facility. But it's too far for my dad to drive every day. The staff who showed me around was quite helpful. She was amazing. She was very friendly. She answered every one of our questions. The dining room was clean, bright, friendly, and well-spaced out. It's just a very welcoming environment. I loved it.

I went to GrandeVille Senior Living Community. It's a one-story building, it seemed large to me, and we walked around quite a bit. I liked the fact that they had outdoor patio access that was monitored, or at least if people were outside, they would be supervised by the staff. Someone on staff would know that someone was outside. It seemed adequate in space, good dining, a couple of choices for dining area, there was a cute, little retro diner area that residents could go to. The residents that I saw seemed to be actively involved in some kind of activity. One of the staff members was leading a game. It was older, but it seemed to be clean and well maintained.

My mom was at the GrandeVille Senior Living Community. She's very comfortable and content there. It's very homey, so she has decided that she's going to stay there again. They have activities for people who choose to participate. I think once a week they go out of the facility to either a park or just a drive. She has enjoyed the activities. They have bingo almost every day, social activities like an ice cream social in the afternoons a couple of times a week, and social discussions about what's going on or the current news. The care was fine. They have call buttons. If they need someone, they can press the button and someone gets there in a timely manner. With the whole COVID restrictions, families aren't allowed in the dining area. She's got her own room, and it's comfortable. They furnish it, but we've also brought our own furnishings to make it more comfortable for her. It's not brand new by any means. They could still use some updates, but it's a safe place.

My mom will be moving to GrandeVille this month. We chose it because it's the closest to our home. It seemed to be clean and the people were very, very nice. We were not able to go in yet but based on what we've seen, they have accommodated everything that we wanted for my mom's apartment. They're very easy to work with, and they've done a lot to help us get my mom there so we're very pleased with them. The staff is very friendly, very helpful, sympathetic and very professional. We couldn't come in but we did see my mom's room from the outside. It fits her, it's exactly what she needs and we're very happy about that. She's got enough room to fit her furniture too. I like the way the building's layout is a round shape and the courtyard at the center of it. They have 3 meals a day and snacks. They also have a game room, a craft room, Bingo, and cards. They have different people coming in like hairdressers, the podiatrist, things that my mom is going to need. The facility looked well-kept from the outside.

My sister has moved into GrandeVille. We are extremely pleased. They are very kind, thoughtful, attentive, and I have no complaints. My sister's room is nice. It is a typical bedroom, but she is comfortable with it. She says food is excellent and they give plenty of it, too. They have a lot of small rooms set up for visitors. They have a room that has a pool table, a room that has a big screen television, a library, and a craft room. They have a lot of different places.

My family member was there for 1 year. I visited almost daily. Towards the end of their time there my loved one was in the enhanced assisted living. I believe that at this point, my loved one would have received better care in a nursing home. The aides would be on their cell phones out of sight of the cameras for most of their shifts. This facility really needs a manager on duty for nights and weekends. The care during the day is much better. Many times, care was only provided when I was there visiting. When no family was there, my loved one would sit for hours by themselves. The recreation staff made no effort to sit and talk with residents, engage them in activities. Often activities would just be put on the schedule but never actually take place. The dietary staff were short with residents and often times downright rude. Grandeville nursing staff provided good care but more oversight of aides is critical. I would not recommend this facility unless you as family members are available almost daily to oversee your loved ones care. My loved one was paying for almost no care or interaction, just for a tiny run down dark room.

The room at GrandeVille Senior Living Community was much smaller than the others we looked at, it had no outside atrium, and the price was higher. There were people playing bridge, and the staff seemed nice. They have a recreation room, lounging areas, they have birds in cages in their little pet area, and a couple of nice dining rooms.

GrandeVille seemed a little dark and outdated. The reason we didn't go with them was because the room had an outdated bathroom that had an old bathtub in it, and my dad wouldn't be able to climb in and out. The rooms were also small. The staff member who gave us the tour was very pleasant, nice, and informative. They have a library.

I visited GrandeVille Senior Living Community and I was very happy with what I saw. It's phenomenal. I was very impressed with the diversity as far as what they offered and as far as activities. It had a very friendly atmosphere inside. What impressed me was an area for church service. It's like a church area in the community. The dining area was nice.

GrandVille is amazing. You can't put a price on knowing that your parent is well cared for. Caring attentive staff, wonderful activities, good food, well maintained rooms. I couldn't be happier that we chose GrandVille for this stage in my dad's life.

When I first walked into the building I knew this was a great place for my family member. I felt comfortable knowing that the staff was going to take care of her. It really seemed like a new home for her and it put my mind at ease. The staff is amazing and would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

When I visited I found the staff very accommodating and believe they go above and beyond when catering to any specific needs. I was throughly impressed. The place was very clean and homey as well.

My Dad was a resident of Grande'Ville Senior Living and we couldn't have been more pleased! It has just been beautifully remodeled. Everyone on the staff is so kind. The care given to my Dad was wonderful! They always have activities going on, even a movie room with a pop corn maker! There are outdoor patios so in nice weather we were able to go outside and visit. The food was really delicious and if he ever wanted a snack someone always would get him one. Really, we couldn't have asked for more! I would highly recommend Grande'Ville.

My Mom was a resident of GrandeVille. The community is very home-like and is always clean. The staff was always kind to my mother as well as to all of the other residents, They truly go above and beyond at all times! Although my mom only needed Traditional Assisted Living when she first went to GrandeVille as her care needs increased she was able to stay there due to their multiple levels of care. My brothers and sisters and I all agree that this was the best choice for my mom. When we needed help, GrandeVille was there for us.

My grandmother has been at the facility now for 2 yrs. She has COPD and is confined often to her room. I find the staff to be extremely patient, helpful and compassionate with her. She has a lovely room which is always kept clean and neat. I can not say enough about the care she has been given. I have stopped in at all times during the day and evening and have yet to find something to complain about.

There aren't any openings yet at Grandeville Senior, but my visit was very good. The problem is that it's a very small community. The rooms and staff were nice. The dining area was fine. Their prices were pretty reasonable.

Grande’Ville Senior Living Community has been freshly remodeled. It has new flooring, new walls, new décor, and new furniture so it looks nice when you first walk in the door. It has a very simple layout. I think the staff and the residents were very nice, very accommodating, and friendly. My dad gets meals everyday, and if they want something in between, they always get him whatever what they want. He likes the food; he says it’s good. They have a lot of different activities. They’ll take him on little trips. They take them to the store a couple of times a week. They have doctor’s appointments. They have a movie theater room that’s set up really nice. They can go watch movies and have free popcorn. They have activity rooms there where they have puzzles and games and all kinds of things to keep them busy.

Grandeville had 24hr nursing care, so they had a nurse on the premises. They clean their room, but the rooms were small. They get three meals a day with snacks, and I like everything else.`

My mother spent a couple of weeks at the Grandville. The food was pretty good, it was pretty decent, and the staff was pretty caring. They seem to have a calendar of stuff happening. They have a small single room with a bathroom, it was pretty clean, and kept well.

GrandeVille is such a nice cozy, family orientated community! With all the new places that are built that resemble hotels, my friend felt uncomfortable there. The staff is wonderful, maintenance goes out of their way to help, and the family business can't be beat! Prices are the best I found and so very clean. There are at least 7 activities daily and they even went to the Bills Training Camp this year! Yes the rooms aren't huge but who wants to sit in your room all day. Lots of sitting areas located all over and family events galore. I'd highly recommend GrandeVille to anyone.

We ended up placing my parents in Grand’Ville Senior Living. They offer enhanced care and assisted living. My mother needed enhanced care, and my father needed assisted living so they could be together. The staff is very nice and very helpful, but they do not seem to have enough staff. The dining area is nice. The private rooms are very small. The facility is maybe 10 to 15 minutes away from a hospital.

This facility took such good care of my Grandmother. The care was excellent. Everyone smiles and goes above and beyond to make sure the residents are happy. My Grandmother would go on and on about all the nice people. The activities were great as well. They would go on trips and outings as well as plenty to do at home too. My Grandma loved BINGO as well as the exercise classes. Weekend movies and popcorn was another favorite of hers. The maintenance and housekeeping staff were always on top of there game as well. They are making so many new renovations as well since I've gone back to visit. It looks terrific. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for care for a loved one.

Though the facilities at GrandeVille were not terrific, the treatment my grandmother received during her stay here was generally hospitable and helpful. The staff always seemed to be on hand when necessary, which is monumental in how those living here felt. As far as the environment, what was included (furniture, food, etc.) were bare bones. However, for the relatively low price that we paid per month to have my grandmother stay justify the living conditions. Those living in the facility were definitely given special treatment, and the staff overall seemed very respectful toward residents. My grandma's reviews were generally positive- she noted especially the assistance and support that was always around. Again, though, I would recommend going elsewhere if you can afford it. There was very little extra here, and it seemed in a way as if the residents were expected simply to get by with what they have. I think that, for somebody who you really respect, if possible you should give them more. Still, if that is not a possibility, GrandeVille is a solid choice.

The establishment is a bit older looking, but clean. Most of the staff seem friendly, but not terribly involved with the clients. I would see many walking around with nothing much to do. The menus posted were very un impressive. Compared to other facilities I have visited, I would not recommend this place to anyone wishing for a cheery, upbeat atmosphere.

Grand Ville Senior Living Facility was a place where my mother lived for about 5 years of her life. She was admitted there when our family moved her to Rochester from a facility that she was living in California. Grand Ville is a private paid facility. It isn't overly expensive as my mother's pension and social security covered her expenses. I figure that was why it seemed somewhat rundown. It was always clean but it seemed a little shabby. The furniture and lighting was dreary. The staff wasn't too bad, some better than others. I do feel that my mother was left to her own devices a bit more than I would have liked. She would sometimes act up, as she had progressively declining dementia, and the staff could be a little rough. I don't think it was a bad place or that she was treated unkindly, but I wasn't overly impressed with the care that she got there either. It was a middle of the road facility. When we moved her to the facility in Mt Morris (a State run facility) that was when I realized how shabby and middling Grand Ville really was. The private paid facility compared unfavorably to the State run facility in every capacity. Overall Grand Ville was depressing and disappointing. I was glad when we moved her to a more cheerful, uplifting facility.
