The care that The Aldea House provides to my grandad is very, very good. They take really good care of him. They're great and just good people. They care about him as a person. The place is like a home. They have the living room, the den, and a big shower where the residents can kind of walk in so they don't have to get into a tub. They have a great little backyard, where during the summers, the residents can go out and plant if they would like. They're always cleaning the place. They don't have any activities, but for what they do for him, I'm very impressed with them.

The one that I picked for my mother was The Aldea House. However, she passed away a few weeks ago. The staff was friendly and compassionate. I thought they were great. I could not say anything bad about any of those ladies. She was living in a room that was clean, which was one of the reasons why I picked it. It was homey because it was a house. It was very comfortable.

Mom has been at Aldea House for 4 years now. It’s been the best care for her that I could have hoped for. The group home setting is perfect for her.

My mother-in-law's partner moved at Aldea House. His care was absolutely awesome. It was the best care that he could have ever received. I was amazed that it was that good. The owner is a really good person. The staff, most of them, has been there for years so there is not a high turnover. There is consistency in care between the staff members. The house is kept very clean. It has no odors. A large kitchen area where they cook meals and family members can go in there and take something to cook if they want to. Family members are welcome and we came in there at odd times and we never found anything to be out of place or something we didn’t like. They treated the residents there with kindness. They were well fed and cared for. It was very much a home environment. He has some medical health condition and they managed all of those very well. They were excellent with his medication regimen. He was happy and they let the residents do what they want to do. Their health manager does a remarkable job and they always kept us very well advised.
