My aunt was at the facility for 2 weeks following a brief hospital stay. We couldn’t have been happier with the care she received! Therapy department is excellent and she quickly made progress. Social worker is very easy to reach and follows up quickly on all concerns or questions. She had plenty of food, and was always clean. Thanks so much!

The chef/cooks/workers were amazing. However, my sister died in their care. During Covid, my sister got it and they did not call a parent for 3 days after my sister got it. I had to beg the front desk for them to call. Night before my sister died, they finally called to say she was asymptomatic and the next morning she died. It was horrible communication and being that my sister was non-verbal she should have automatically been sent to a hospital for observation.

After spending 6 days in Monmouth Medical South Campus with a Life threatening condition I was transferred to Fountainview for 5 Days of Intense Physical Therapy. Everyone on the Staff were kind and knowledgeable. I couldn't have asked for a better Experience than that they provided me.

My aunt has been in this facility for over 2 years...i visit once a week faithfully and i have always seen clean floors, rooms, and residents. The CNAs and Nursing staff treats my family as their own and I rest easy knowing she is in good hands. I also want to compliment the housekeeping and dietary staff who go the extra mile when she needs something. And the activities staff are so loving and patient with her during the activities...my aunt doesn't hear well. I would never imply that everything is perfect all the time. There are the occasional lost belongings and sometimes she doesn't like the food, but the way she is treated is most important to our family. I highly recommend Fountainview Care Center!!!

My mother was there for about 2 weeks. When she first arrived she was on oxygen, machine was so noisy, you could not hear yourself think. Second machine they gave her, they set out up with the wrong liter of oxygen, when tried to adjust, it did not work, did not have proper flow. Went back next day and found her oxygen hooked to the patience in the other bed, not my mother. Twice while visiting found her medication on floor. Matenance people are not professional looking, unclean and unsaved. Final 3 days of her stay she developed a urinary track infection and told staff she was in pain, they gave her a tylenol. 3rd day we had to demand a doctor to see her, she was sent back to hospital. Furniture is old and worn, beds are old and worn, place is not clean and patiences are not attended too properly. Never would i recommended this placed to anyone friend or foe.
Sooodisappointed...

This facility is discusting!!! They do not keep the people clean or anything in it clean. They could careless if the people eat or not. How they can call themselves a Care Center in beyond me! For being at the top of the pricing chart I expected more...

I would not send my worst enemy to Fountin View. I was sent there from the hospital for rehab and was horrified from the moment I arrived. The place seems dirty, my bed was broken and leaked air and would not recline. The bed was also dirty and too short for me at 6'4" ( they got me a new bed 2 days later which I had to cleantself with bath wipes. The food is lacking in quality as well as taste. I am on a restricted diet and revived food with another patients name on it if 4 times, each time it was food I was not allowed on my diet! Most meal periods I had no meal at all and had to have a very nice nurses aid get me something from the food service staff and it was what they had available without regard for my diet. I finally got the food fixed my 3rd day there when the food service director came to my room because I complained so much. I cannot say anything negative about the P/T staff they seemed very good but my overall experience was so poor the p/ t staff could not change my feelings about Fountain View. I was sent back to the hospital because of my poor health and I ready to be sent back to a rehab and I told my doctor and the hospital social worker I will not go back to Fountain View, I rather go home if they could not get me in another local facility!

The facility stinks the minute you walk in. My grandfather is there temporarily right now until another facility has an opening. The room is always dirty, the floor is very dirty and sticky. I understand that things spill, but this is every day, I visit him. Its sad that family members cant take 24 hour care of him because we work so we depend on the facility to take care of him since this is their job. Again we understand that they have many patients to take care of but it becomes an issue when his room is dirty every day.

My wife stayed at Fountain View and the care that she got there was good. The staff wanted the best care for their patients. Every time she needed a doctor specialist, they would arrange it and take care of it.

My husband spent last summer at Fountainview Care Center after a hospital stay from a respiratory infection. The staff here made us welcome and provided vip service and tender loving care to my husband who requires 24/7 caregiving. The nurses and cna's are top notch and carefully take their time to perform their needed tasks. I highly recommend this facility for long-term care as well as a short-term stay.
